I just updated my phone yesterday with the new OTA firmware from T-mobile and I don't like it. When I call someone with multiple numbers from the dial pad it doesn't show if that number is a mobile, fax, etc. Hate it!
How can I revert back to the original shipped firmware? I only jail broke my phone, no other custom firmware installed or any lag fix installed.
Thanks guys.

I have an Omnia 7 and have the issues that have been discussed on this forum, Voicemail doesn't save, calls get dropped etc.
I got impatient and walshed my phone to 7390 hoping this may solve the issues but no luck, I have also applied walsh's fix to get me back on the supported update path.
I have a few questions before I proceed to flash the firmware for my phone.
Will my firmware get updated automatically anyway?
My phone is currently branded for T-Mobile UK, are the roms on samfirmware.com unbranded?
My phone has been network unlocked by a code, NOT the Cheveron tool, will this unlock stay with the phone if I flash the firmware?
If the roms are not unbranded or for T-Mobile UK what are the downsides and side effects to going ahead with the firmware flash?
Many thanks for your input, eitherway I think I will be waiting untill Tuesday to see if I get the 7392 update and check if that has updated my firmware first before I do flash my phone.
My current firmware info:-
PDA----------I8700XXJJ4
Phone--------I8700XXJJ3
CSC----------I8700TMUJJ4
Bootloader---4.10.1.2
Hi
Picked up an S5 after years of iPhones, Which i bought from the three store in the UK.
After installing a few apps i started to get error 24 installing netflix. I didnt fancy doing a factory reset so i routed my phone to use a root browser to remove the temp files which resolved my issue (but of course i still had to do a factory reset) However i didn't realise that android confirms if its official or not and then doesn't receive OTA updates.
I'm not much into messing with releases these days so i downloaded the stock UK firmware (NCE) from sammobile and it now says official after flashing it.
However i notice that there is an OTA update out today (NC2) which i'm not getting when i check for updates (the message says latest update installed).
Is this simply a case of the update not having rolled out to everyone yet or does the update checker use the serial number of my phone to check that it should be on the H3G UK firmware rather than the stock UK firmware? Kies also states the firmware is up to date.
Thanks for any advice

Rather than waiting for ota would I just be as well flashing the new stock uk firmware through Odin?
I'm currently using kitkat on my international LG G2 which was bought from Emirates so it has software version D80220a-AME-XX (got this on air like 2 months ago) but I want to install a fresh new copy of KitKat UK on it. Before downloading that hefty update file for the Kikat version of UK, I wanna know if the updater will allow me to update from Kitkat UAE to Kitkat UK without any problems or it will deny it for whatever reason(s)? (e.g. a reason such as that it allows only updates from an older version to a newer version but not from newer to newer...etc)
Thanks in advance!
The reason for trying to escape this version is that I issue some weird stuff with network coverage being faulty for some time and I realize this only by coincidence by trying to call any one on my list but I get a message like "network error" with any number I attempt to call so after I rebooted and restarted, the error disappeared & also got a bunch of text messages informing me of missed called from people tried to call during that error which I realized by coincidence!

The answer is "yes, it is possible, as long as you do it manually".
The official LG Updater will not flash the UK firmware to your device, there is no option to tell it which firmware to install or upgrade to. It picks the firmware according to your IMEI.
You have to follow this guide. Good luck.
Cheers.
This is a backup device for me to use as a smart remote in my living room. To avoid hassles I accordingly I returned it to the stock rom.
Well today I got an official update to the device of about 240mb. For reference I am on the most recent stock Rogers ROM.
Anyone else see this?
The updated full stock Bell ROM is available on sammobile.com: https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SGH-I337M/.
The bell ROM can be flashed to a Rogers and Telus s4 too.
Based on the ota update file size, it is probably a bug fix and/or security update.
So I had rooted my phone awhile back and decided it was too laggy for me. Couldn't find stock firmware so ended up flashing unlocked international firmware. There was no video calling or advanced messaging of course. I decided I couldn't live without it so after much searching I was able to flash stock AT&T gs7 firmware. My phone had several OTA updates since then however video calling and Google assistant aren't present. These features were introduced in the initial Android 7 update. The one I flashed I think was a later version and I still don't have those. Is there a way to get assistant and video calling back? Also advanced messaging doesn't show when they're typing, only if they've read it.
