Lock screen slide not showing up... - Droid Incredible General

Running UncommonSense "desensed" (removed rosie).
Lock screen 'unlock' slider show up initially after boot. After that, it doesn't show ~90% of the time.
The slider shows up when I slide where it should be to unlock the phone. Any ideas why it's not showing up? No big deal, just annoying.

Lockscreen problem?

I am currently using MyMetroLock, and SOMETIMES if I don't have a lock code on, and I slide the slider across the screen, it doesn't unlock my screen. Basically I can slide the slider back and forth the screen, and the screen won't unlock.
Anyway, got around that problem by turning the lock code on, and work's fine. BUT there has been problems with this lock screen, with the lock code ON. Basically I had my HTC to backup every Monday @ 4am (via SPB backup), and it soft resets. So this morning after waking up, I moved the slider on screen, and tapped in my phone lock code, and kept getting message saying lock code was incorrect. So had to HARD RESET
Now this isn't the first time this has happened, it's happened a FEW times, and have now decided to get rid of the MyMetroLock. So managed to uninstall MyMetroLock, but then I have no lock slider lock screen on my HTC. The lock screen I have is a basic version, tap unlock bottom left screen.
How do I get back the HTC version of the slider lock screen?
Ok, have figured out how to get the HTC slider lock scrren back, as that was in the LOCK menu.
However still having the same problem with the slider. A few times I am able to lock phone, and unlock using the slider. Then if I slide the slider across the screen, the phone won't unlock. The slider don't freeze, as I am able to slide it back and fore the screen, but the phone stays locked.
Any ideas? As I have had to revert to using the "windows classic" unlock display

Delayed Lock Screen

With my settings set to Automatically lock (immediately after sleep) and power button instantly locks with a visible patter screen lock, my Nexus 7 on wake-up [pushing the power button immediately] either right after an invalid pattern code (where device then sleeps) or waiting a few seconds with no activity until the device sleeps (where the Nexus 7 fades to a black screen) will have a delay in bringing up the lock screen OR sort of flicker presenting some sort of black and white bar lines background at the bottom half of the screen for a split second before bringing up the lock screen. In essence, when waking the phone from sleep, the screen "glitches" for like a fraction of a second where the "glitch" is a set of white lines that flash on the screen before the lock screen appears on the display. This "rarely" occurs and has to be done fairly quickly, but I have seen it a few times as I continuously tried it over and over again; you can blame my OCD Anyway... I was wondering if this is normal or it is in fact a defect? It doesn't seem to affect the performance of the device itself.
The following are video recordings of the "issue":

Does this happen for anyone else?
Thanks in advance!

Help: Slide lock screen doesn't "take"

It takes several swipes for the slide lock screen to work. My wife swipes it, it gets to the desktop and immediately goes back to the lock screen.
Other times it connects to the little circle but doesn't get to the desktop. There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason on when it doesn't work.
Any thoughts? other than using another lock option.

[Q]lockscreen is goneļ¼

It's strange that when i press the lockscreen botton after screen is turned off by screen timeout,my phone doesn't show lockscreen and directly jumps to the launcher. But if I lock my screen manually by pressing the lockscrren botton, next time the lockscreen will come up.
MAYBE SOME APPS IS STOP THE LOCKSCRREN FROM COMING UP.How can I find it?
I have no problem in system setting.Swipe to lock has been chosen.
Check your settings again.. There is a setting where you can adjust the time how long your phone will remain unlocked after your phone has gone to sleep.

Phone notification on lock screen

Up till now, all my galaxy phones had a persistent phone notification, while on a call, right on the lock screen along with other notifications. It had simple buttons for mute/unmute and speaker phone on/off. On the S8, there's no persistent notification for the phone on the lock screen. I've ensured that I don't have the phone app disabled from showing notifications on the lock screen, it's set to show all content. I have to either unlock, or pull down the notification panel and then get to it, which is kind of annoying. Anybody else notice this or is it something with my phone? Just want to check before I attempt a factory reset.
