Idea: Top Bar Transparent

Hi,
Top Bar is the essential on today screen cuz it show many notifications, time etc. So what i was thinking is that somebody make a program to transparent the whole top Bar or atleast it can change with the full screen wallpaper. It means the whole today can go with the wallpaper.
Hoping to see programmer put a hand in making it.
Thanks
And also a program for resizing the top bar would be cool.
nobody wants to even try...
i gaurantee this will be the most useful plugin for ppc user...
somebody should try to make it, cuz im not a prgrammer
Come on you programming gurus..
you had a full 5 hours to do this and no one has done it...
Were you guys sleeping or something?
I currently use VJTOGGLETODAY. Not sure where I got it from but if you do some diggin' I am sure you can find it. you can also look into wisbar adv. as it lets you configure your start button.
SoBBie
this is already possible - transparent bars are part of the theme.
search for home screen designer and have a play
VJ toggle today cannot do that thing and home screen designer is for smart phone only.
I know it is not exactly what your looking for, but here is what I did:
I use WA3, and in the theme I use, I took the top bar image and exchanged it with am image I made by taking my current wallpaper image, and copying the top part (same height as the top bar image in the theme), and named it the same name the top bar image had in the theme I use.
(Sorry if it got too wordy)
Although it isn't truly 'invisible' it does have the effect I wanted. I will try to post a screenshot later when I get home.
anybody willing to make a program on this...

[REQ] Black Home Screen Fonts

Hi guys,
Love the work on the themes and mods that have been done already.
Thing is...i'm looking for Black Home Screen fonts. I have spent hours looking using the 'search' facility, to no avail!
Can someone point me in the right direction or make a cab file for Black Home Screen fonts.
Many thanks in advance!
Cammy
I second the motion. Wallpapers have to be dark in order to read the default white icons. What I really would like is a switching app where I could change back and forth between white and black depending on the background Im using. TIA

A couple of display issues

Hi all... First of all, gotta say this is an amazing forum. Lots very good information and smart people!
Now for my problems. Being the noob I am, I'm sure the answer is somewhere on this site, but I'm not able to find it. Basically there are two issues on the attached screenshot.
1) Obvious, but still... black background color in the top part of the Launch program screen of TF3D (and other similar screens).
2) Bottom Bar (that normally holds "Phone" and "Programs" link, or in this screen "Back") has gone grey on me. Now this is not TF3D related. Still there if I disable it, and it seems the color changes slightly if i change the windows theme, so I think its not actually grey, but transparent. At some point i got it to look the way I wanted, but after a soft-reset it's back to being transparent. Thinking maybe I have managed to overwrite a file in the rom?
Anyways... The Noob gives up in hope of some professional answers
Thanks in advance!

Turning Off Start Menu Transparency

I have WM 6.1 and have recently changed my background to something that has some white in it. Now because of this and the fact that the start menu is transparent I can't read some of the text in the menu.
Before anyone suggests it, yes I'm aware of how to change the text color using the registry. I am not interested in doing this, I tried it and didn't really like it.
I am looking to do one of two things:
1. Remove the transparency.
2. Add a thin black stroke to make it readable.
Any suggestion that works is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Does anyone have any knowledge of what I can do here? This is really pretty obnoxious and I don't know how to fix it.

Actually, the start menu is not transparent, but rather it uses a piece of the picture in your background to make it look as if it was transparent. Changing system fonts might solve your issue. There are a few programs that will allow you to do that in Dev&Hacking. Also, I believe that mrMakk has a tutorial on how to do this.
Alternatively, you can try to change the menu picture by using something like Theme Creator v2 or Theme Generator v2 (I can't remember the correct name for the program).
Thanks man, I'll give the theme generator a try when I get home.
Theme generator only works on 2002. The themes it generates could not be applied to WinMo 6.1...
Anyone got another suggestion? Surely there is a way to change the start menu picture in WinMo 6.1...
When I select a picture and set it as a Today Background, it brings up a screen so that I could select a Transparency Level.

I don't believe that this is what the user is asking for.

He is asking about the transparency of the Start Menu isn't he? When you click on Start it drops down a menu correct?
On my phone, when I go to save a picture as my wallpaper, I am able to change the transparency of the Start menu. I'm not saying that's the only way, that's the only way I know and it worked for me.
If I'm wrong, I apologize.

Change background in settings from black to a custom picture

Hello.
I searched already but didn't find a "How to" or something similar. Just more or less general things about modding.
I'm using Alexndr's modified Stock Rom BOJ2
I would really like to change the colour of the background in settings from white to Blue or to a custom picture WITHOUT using Xposed.
Can anybody guide me to a tutorial, especially for that modification?
Or can someone tell me which files I have to modify for that?
Is it possible to make for a real beginner like me?
Would be really cool if someone could help me to find any point how to start
Thanks in advance
If you mean the launcher and lockscreen wallpaper, put the image (perhaps a single blank colour) in to the gallery, view the image, press the menu (...) button in the top right and select "set as".
Thank you. No, I mean to change the ugly white background in settings.
