I read about apps2sd and heard it might not work well with micro sd cards class 4 and below. The one that comes with the Epic is class 2, so let me know how well it works.

I have 6 words for you: EXT4.
Put your device as disk drive, then right click the white space, it should say FAT/FAT32, ...
Right click and click properties.
Wow.
Is there a need to create thread like this. ?
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App
Well yes. I know its quite a basic principle but a FAT is required, rather than FAT 32 which cannot be used.
Only trying to be helpful.

You can go on the Market and search for swap. There should be one or two apps that can create a swap partition that that works similarly to RAM.
That's a really great question even though you blasted me on the previous thread but that's ok. No hard feelings!

No hard feelings here either
I did try swapper but it fails verrytime
lol, swap.
Just watched the video from another link and a small benefit for me of the GS3 over the GS2 is that it looks like you can change the MicroSD card without removing the battery and therefore having to switch off the phone first. It seems you should just be able to unmount it from settings and then switch to another one. Cool!
Nothing new!
It was like that on SGS1...
yeah, its good, but at the cost of hot swappable sim card .
And why couldn't this have gone in the other thread about GS3 improvements over GS2. Seems appropriate to me..

Of course it is. As long as you don't have apps installed to sd, they won't work after swapping.

Is this making the external SD act as an Internal SD? If so this is exactly what I came here looking for. I read in a Sprint forum that there was a root way to be able to install apps that would normally only install to the internal SD, to the external SD. This would obviously be great considering we only have 9gb of usable storage with no move to External option.
yeah thats why im trying to find out if the developer for the mod will support the GS4 too

Im working with the Dev of the app FolderMount to try to figure out how to get this to work with the S4. It does basically the same thing, but instead of only moving the data it creates a link between the internal and external sd so the data can be moved to the external and still work. Heres the thread here.
I'm definitely interested in this. Does anyone know the reason why Samsung mounts the extra storage as an SD card and then limit us by not allowing us to move apps? So far this is the biggest disappoint for me with this phone.
