Im sorry that my enthusiasm over a product that im proud of offended you. Im assuming a formal greeting in this section is not necessary, and therefore i am getting the repercussions. I wanted to properly introduce myself and i guess thats a big no no here. I apologize to those i have offended.
You are a senior member sir, and i expect better character from you. Calling an active jr. member a "dbag" shows your level of intellegince and the integerity of XDA.
I was hestitant to post a positive post in fear of this outcome, and overall sir your lesser counterparts greeted me better and was more

Firstly you haven't seen him (me i have not)
Secondly if you were talking about his personality..of course pulser is a nice guy and he is extremely active on the gsm hero forum but there is much more mods on xda than one...
And there is no doubt that they are nice too...because in my opinion this is a quality needed if you wanna be a mod on a big forum !

Well guys it has been fun I made the jump tongue 3vo and have to say it is an amazing device. I have been sceptical about everything worrying if the 3d was a gimmick or worth it. I compared both phones side by side and the colors were way better and looked sharper. You could tell it had some power under the hood as the phone easily handled everything i threw at it . I have enjoyed flashing custom roms and look toward doing the same as you all know one flash and your hooked. Today I will test its legs fully with the battery and gaming. See you on the other side.

Seriously, though, starting a thread with just a link and no commentary or opening salvo for a discussion is a tad weak. And I believe that, as has already been discussed, the unlock bootloader tool will only work on certain phones, and the EVO 4G is not one of them.
I don't particularly care, since I don't want to register my phone with HTC along with the fact that I've potentially voided my warranty. That can stay between me and my friends at XDA.
Finally, I will be curious to see how this Sense Developer gambit pays off. Are people really going to devote time to developing Sense-specific apps and widgets? I support that some developers worked on apps for the PlayBook too, so anything is possible.

I wish HTC would make the source code page easier. Look it up by device or something. A huge list of random source code postings is fine when it's short like it is now, but it's only going to grow. Yea yea... CTRL-F is my friend...

No complaints, just a place to sing the praises of the awesomeness that is CM9.
I for one love CM9. Sure, there's some things that could be improved, but this rom is just amazing. I especially love that ICS is working on a phone that Samsung was just to lazy to work on. We get the benefits of Matias Duarte's amazing talent combined with the real-world-minded approach to porting of the ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND FABULOUS CM9 developer team.
And perhaps the best thing: This is a work in progress, so that means regular updates with continued improvements.
What could be better?

It is not that Samsung was too lazy it was that it would require them to give up their proprietary BML partition or restructure it which if done by OTA would stand to great a risk of bricking the phone, especially one over a year and a half old.
