having trouble

Im having trouble at the moment, my wizard detects my memory card, lets me transfer data to it, lets me veiw it, but when ever i run media player and update library it crashes and when i install apps it crashes the entire OS what could be wrong? and how can i fix it? i figured formating the sd card would work but i dont know how to format it...
please plase please help

no when the memory card is in the phone, i downloaded storage tools for my PPC and formatted it and it is working now i think lol, i will keep this thread bookmarked so that if the problem occurs again i can say here. but thanks for the help much appreciated

okay so it didnt work, i think i have bad sectors on my memory stick and storage tools isnt repairing it, i think i need another memory stick :S

Bluetooth resieve into the Internal Storage?

Hi guys, i've searched for a long time software or something which can store my bluetooth recieving files directly to the Internal Storage.
In my case - I have 10mb free phone memory (i've installed all programs into the phone memory), and if someone try to send me larger than 10mb file.... it fails. I've tryed to change the default temporal directory with directory into the internal storage, but it don't work. So can somebody help me with this? Thank's in advance.

help me get my photos back

hi guys
i took some pics at a family wedding and since upgrading ROM i don't see them anymore
so they must have saved to phone not card . is there any way i can get them back
please help

you can check your phone memory location using file explorer go to device, my documents, they should be in my Pictures.
Another way is go to Camera tab and press Album (left corner) this will give an overview of what is stored on your device and Storage card check each one
I suggest also going into your camera options and changing the storage option back to storage card

If you flashed a ROM then all prior data is technically unrecoverable. Sorry! ALWAYS BACKUP YOUR DATA!!!!

Oops I missed that you had upgraded your ROM bugger
You could try a data recovery software search google there are lots of freeware
Run the program choose your SD card and see if it finds any JPEG files
I have done this before and was successful

thanks but the photos must have been on the phone all the other photos are still on the card , can you run recovery software on the phone itself

Ok i've found tons of software to recover from the card but none to recover from the phone itself does anyone know if any exists or a way to see the phone with pc software cos only the card shows up

I hate to tell you this but once you flash a rom it erases everything on the phone and rewrites it so those pics are gone.

There's no such thing as a photo recovery software for a flash ROM.
I'm sorry for your lost, but once you flash a different ROM, everything is wiped clean. It happens to the best of us, OP. I had similar things happen on my Diamond. Just remember to go through your checklist of the things you need to backup/save before you update the ROM.

Ok strange things
i ran recovery software on the card and found photo's taken on the correct date,
recovered them to pc, can see a thumb nail of 1 which is the wedding but none open , anyone know good recovery software ? i've used kroll ontrack recovery pro
seems flashing the rom did do something to the card (i think)
note to self "always take out card when flashing "

The cammera make som wrong pictures like thies.
Wate do I do wrong or wat can I do abovt it.

i would reflash , this should solve the problem, if not that would be a hardware fault !

I tried on the internal memory and on external card.
My phone is.
2.3.3
I9000XXJVO
2.6.35.7-I9000XWJB-CL1180186.

Try removing the camera.apk and reinstall it
App for removing system apps: System app remover in the market.
(Your phone has to be rooted)

Try installing I9000XXJVP, is less buggy than XXJVO. If the problem persists, seems like a hardware issue.

Problem in internal memory

I have GS1 for a while , now i get a strange problem !!! i can change ROM but if i take a pictures it will not be saved , and i cannot save any file to internal memory even after i format the internal memory (by phone or even PC) i found all my files, and no settings can saved and lot of other problems , some people told me that there is problem in lot of GS1 and some people use external SD to solve this problem ! is that right ? and if yes how ??? Thanks again
