Just Ordered the EVO on the Sprint Website...

I checked the site at 9 PM PDT, and sure enough, the EVO was on my upgrade list. So, I went ahead and ordered. Since I'm Premier and ordered online, I got the activation fee waived and the price of the phone billed to my account. I imagine I won't see it for a week or so, even though I got free overnight shipping. Oh well, I live out in the sticks anyway, with no Sprint/Radio Shack/WalMart for 50 miles.

I did the same about an hour ago. I hope this phone makes it here by Saturday. If not, then I will be more than ready for it on Monday.

I ordered a Samsung Moment for my wife, and it was shipped UPS, so I'm thinking Monday would be the absolute earliest. I'm not holding my breath, though.

I'm guessing you won't be utilizing 4g much then

Well, I'll be in 4g land about twice a week, so it's fine for me. I'm looking forward mainly to the screen and video capabilities.

Can someone confirm that this isn't a phishing site? Can you guys tell who the domain is registered too. Looks fishy.

you can get $10 discounted / month on certain plans. check slickdeal forms and seach for evo. you have to wait for it to getback in stock though. save $120/year worth it htough.

Not sure if I'm missing something here, but why not just purchase through Sprint.com? I submitted my order on Monday and had it Tuesday afternoon. They give you the overnight-air service at no charge, as well.

I ordered by phone at 11:30 am pst for my 2nd Evo. Got a UPS tracking number around 5:30 pst showing a delivery for tomorrow. You should be shipping tomorrow.

I'm pretty sure UPS/FedEx/USPS collect deliveries at a certain time. For example, if you order in the morning, your order will probably ship the same day. After 2-4 PM, however, you've got to wait until the next day for it to ship.
If you haven't gotten your shipping confirmation, I'm guessing they didn't pick your package up today from the warehouse.

I didn't get the shipping confirmation but what I did was go to the website to check my order and found the tracking number there. www.Sprint.com/myorder

Well they've had the domain since 2005 good thing, they only register for one year at a time may be a bad thing could be cuz of godaddy discounts.

Edit: site seems legit; talked to someone from the site via their chat; they also provide direct access to sprint so you won't have to call and wait on the phone to get a hold of someone; they provide direct customer service
i didn't order from them since my order from sprint is being shipped out today (hopefully)

If you order a evo before 12PM EST with overnight shipping you are bound to get it the next day. unless your order just didnt get placed.
ive done it so many times with so many phones and different things. long as you give it 12 hours to get accept, it will ship that same day.

The Lady on the phone told me usually orders by 2pm est get shipped the same day. My order I placed yesterday at 2:30pst shipped yesterday too. On the UPS truck to be delivered.

Oh sorry I was just giving info on the speed of ordering through telesales. I did not order direct from this site, but they seem to be a reseller of sprint service.

i'm getting mad now at sprint; i looked at their shipping policy and if you place an order before 1:30pm PST, your order should be shipped same day; i placed mine yesterday around 12:00pm PST and still nothing, no tracking info and no updates; when i called, they said it's in the warehouse for processing

I don't know where you've been, but the TF at BB has been in stock off and on (mostly on) for the past 1.5 weeks.

Plus there online department is pretty much to worse. There customer service is horrible. They should be called Worst Buy. I order mine on 20 May with there fastest shipping. It said ships in 0 to 1 days. it took 3 days to ship. That was after several calls to customer service. The entire time the website kept saying processing.
I call on Sunday after 2 days of waiting. The escalated the case. Monday at 9am I get a call saying tracking number in 30 minutes to hour. At 15 when I had not I call customer service. They told me I had to wait 24 hours. I ask to speak to supervisor. They transfer to Spanish customer service rep. Who transfer me to operator who hung up on me. That was the third hang up they did on me.
At 20:00pm i call. Told the same runaround. Final get a supervisor. Who could not explain why it was not ship when 11 hours early I was told I have a tracking number in hour.
So basically there customer service people are rude, Hang up on you and to lazy to do there job.

I called today and was told that it would be in store June 9th. After work next Thursday I am going straight there for a hands on.

I checked three BBs today. The first two were pretty clueless (me: but I'm specifically looking for an Android tablet. Rep: I thought you said Asus??).
At the third, the guy checked their computer for the SKU and said it showed a 'street date' of Jun 5th.

I bought mine from Tigerdirect. Paid for overnight and had it the next day. Plus I got an HDMI cable to go with it.

nowinstock was just updated! Just ordered from newegg!

Just ordered my second TF - this one from Newegg - due to no sales taxm (I know I should claim it) and cheaper shipping I was able to get the TF and a case for the same price as just the TF from BestBuy - very nice - still in stock as of 1930 eastern

Well in the end I did get it by the last delivery date. But I think that was because Monday night I told if it did not arrive Tuesday. I would be contacting my state AG office to report fraud. Science the site said ships 0 to 1 days and Monday was day 3 and they had promise delivery by Tuesday when they called me Monday morning. Because in less then 3 hours after that call I had a tracking number.

Anyone else's order ship through letstalk yet?

I saw that letstalk.com had the Epic Touch 4G to be shipped today (Sept. 12th). Mine's awaiting carrier approval, but I'm eager to see if anyone else's order has shipped.

I am putting a hex on anyone that gets it before me! Kidding obviously. 9am on Friday...it will be mine! My second line doesn't reset until 12am on the 16th so I couldn't pre-order it.

I was told on phone that it will not be ready to ship until friday later in day. They said if the release day is on the 16th then that's when they receive the phone. I don't know how true that is. I would imagine they would get it at least one or two days in advance, but I could be wrong.

I was expecting it to ship on Thursday or Friday, so arriving Friday possibly Saturday or Monday...but somewhere I read someone saying they were going to be sent on the 12th but I didn't quite believe it.
I've also seen some random phones getting shipped out early from some other recent phone launches so just wishful thinking.

I just ordered mines over the phone. I was told they won't be receiving the phone till Friday. So it won't ship till Friday. Hopefully the person was wrong and they receive and ship the phone early. Either way I got the overnight shipping for an extra $18. Now lets play the waiting game and watch more "amateur hour" reviews.

I just called amazonwireless customer service and they said if its an older grandfathered in play, you'd have to order it through sprint. But customer service isn't always right so....

Ordered mine on Sunday from letstalk/walmart and also chose the $18 overnight shipping. My status has been on "Carrier Approval" for 2 full business days, Sprint pulled my credit report on Sunday.
I do also remember the website explicitly saying orders would start shipping the 12th, but it doesn't seem like that is accurate.

My "Status" is "Ready for fulfillment" and then below it I am still on Step 1 of 4, "Carrier Approval"

I've just confirmed with chat that they don't do Saturday delivery, either, which means we won't be receiving these until Monday. I suppose it was still worth it for saving $70 or so, but that's still too bad.

I was told the same thing on Saturday delivery. Its going to be a long weekend. I think a bottle of Cognac and some drunk postings is in order to help get past the weekend.

Pre-order vs In-store purchase

Hi All,
Any idea how fast I will get my V20 if I pre-order tomorrow (Oct 20) with Verizon as opposed to getting it in store on Oct 27.
Will a pre-order arrive before the 27th.
As I am leaving on vacation on Friday the 28th, I'd like to get as much time as possible setting up the phone and transferring my Note 7 data and settings.
Anyone have experience with pre-orders?

If you ordered by 9:00 am on the 18th, you'd have it now. By 11 am that day, you'll likely have it by the end of tomorrow, the 20th. It's not clear how backed up they are, so no one can be sure.

well since the pre-orders haven't started for version yet no one really knows. only t-mobile has has started sending out their pre-orders. at&t started them last week and haven't shipped anything yet
