Load contact SMS thread from inbox when clicking SMS in SMS tab - Windows Mobile Development and Hacking General

I'm looking for a way to make it when I click on a received sms in the sms tab it will bring up that contacts sms thread from within the inbox (Like when clicking "All Messages" in the bottom left corner) as opposed to bringing up that program that shows their contact card, messages, mail, events, call history. That just bogs my phone down and I personally don't like the layout of it.

starred in android?

Anyone know what this means in gmail.com?
If you starred a message on the device, the message will be starred in your Gmail. Next to the message subject line there is a small star on the left.
Assign stars to special conversations or messages, or use them as a visual reminder that you need to follow-up on a message or conversation later.
ooooooo ok!
Is there a place in the phone to view stared contacts and emails etc...?
thanks!
yeah when your in the gmail app hit menu, then tap View Labels and choose starred.

Try going into all messages at the bottom left when on the message tab sometimes the phone has messages in the inbox that dont respond, check the inbox folder and delete the sms see if that works

Tried that already... I now have no messages at all and it still shows 1 sms to be read! Grrr
I had that problem until i noticed that there WAS an unread email, it wasn't in my newly created email inbox, it was in the Outlook Email inbox.
This email seems to be created automatically when you run the HD for the first time.
Have a look at the mail inbox again and switch it so you can see all the email accounts (use the the drop down list in the top left corner), check the Outlook Email Inbox too.
Goodluck.

How to make SMS appear ?

Is there a way to make the SMS pop up when it's received? I tried to disable the Notification Manager, what happens is that when an SMS comes in, there will be a notification on the top of the screen and I need to click on it to make the SMS appear on screen.
Also on the People tab, where we can see sms from a particular person, the list of sms-es is not updated when an sms comes it. I always have to go back to the SMS inbox in order to see the sms. Is there a way to refresh the list ?
Thanks a lot for replies

Htc Hd2 - Any Way To View Sms Messages In Classic Style

Inbox
outbox
sent items
drafts
deleted items
At the moment it goes straight to my inbox and the last message that was sent, very annoying as i have to then press"all messages" and then get the drop down menu.
Any ideas?
go to SMS, menu->setting->traditional mode~~
I don't see that option in my HTC Touch2 (Mega). I don't like the threaded view. Prefer the classic style of SMS.
on a similar note
With both the email and sms is there anyway to go to the inbox by default for maul or to all messages by default. I like the Sense view but going straight to the inbox makes much more sense to me?
please
Yes i completely agree ... there def needs to be a way that texts go back to All messages by default ... same with emails. This just doesnt make sense!

How to group your messages

As the title says. i have the HTC tytn. First my messages were grouped by contact. now when i receive a text message, they are just showed 1 by 1.
whereas in the past the text messages of the same contact were grouped
hope you understand. now I ressetted my device and I don't know how i can set it back.
On the upper right corner of the messages screen, tap the pull down menu and select the option you like. eg. Message Type, Recieved, Subject.
Hope this helps..
