[Q] Bad Mic Sound (Not Robo/echo problem) - HD2 Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting and Genera

When I am talking on the phone the other persons complain that the sound is bad. I have tried it myself and it is OK but sometimes it makes my voice metallic and "scraping".
This is not the normal echo/robo voice problem.
I have tried different combinations WMrom-Radio-Androidbuilds.
Anyone who has experienced this or may have a fix.

Have you tried a hard reset?
Try going to settings/connections/wifi/advanced/power mode and put it in the middle (or on Best Performance).
Also try checking your network settings. go to advanced config (normally found in Utilities folder), then collapse the Network option and verify your connection settings.

[Q] Having a settings/sim problem

Hello,
I have the following problem.
When I reboot Android (mattc Leo + Froyo w/sense) it says that my Sim has been changed. It displays Tap to change settings.
When I do that it says that the application Settings has stopped (proces com.android.settings).
The strange thing is that I can use my phone for calling etc. so it has no further issues.
I wanna know how to solve this problem and do I really need the application Settings? (high hat with magic stick).

It should work. The newer ROM/Radio is just for less bugs/better performance.
Radio 2.14.50.04 or 2.15.50.14 and Omega or Energy ROM's are pretty good.
Thanks, worked first time. still testing but so far no robotic voice, wifi works, camera is fine.
thanks again

[Q] HELP: Can boot Android on HD2 T-Mon UK :-(

Before anyone asks I have spent a few days researching this and it just should work.
This is my first time trying Android so this may be a newbie problem but I don't think so.
When i try to boot Android I don't get any error but this just stays on the screen in very small writing. My Rom size is 512k
HaRET boot
Shutting down hardware
Turning off MMU

I have even left it 20 minutes
History of what I have tried
1) Stock T-Mobile UK 1.72 image
Tried the above with Froyo 1.7 and 1.8 (latest)
2) Re-imaged my HD2 with 1.72 again (just to have a clean start)
Tried Froyo 1.8 - same problem
3) Re-imaged my HD2 with Artemis 41 - lates
Tried Froyo 1.8 - no luck
Pulled down
Mdeejay_FroYo_Sense_v._2.3_Clean_#15
Still no luck
Setup
====
I used HSPL 2 as my HD2 was SPL 1.66
I think HSPL is working or I would not have been able to flash Artemis
When loading any of the Android images I just unpack and put the Android folder (nothing else) in the rood of the SD card.
I have tried both my 16gb card and a 2gb.
