Hoping someone can help. I listen to a lot of streaming radio through the stream center mobile. I have TP2 running Windows 6.5. I can't play any 32k mono or stereo streams. I have tried coreplayer, kinoma and of course the windows media player. The stations I want are unavailable in WunderRadio. Any suggestions or thoughts on why these streams will not play and a possible solution?
When u got yourself Mega(not TP2) , then ask question again

Hi, I have looked everywhere for this problem but no solution. I have a wizard and I want to stream windows media music and videos from my computer thru wifi. but it keeps saying ''parameter is incorrect''. I've always played music from my computer with other pocket pcs but not this one. has anyone found a solution or tweak to do this? is it a windows mobile 5 problem? thanx for any help.
How are you streaming? Using SMB shares or are you using Windows Media Encoder or the like of? If SMB shares, check you can browse the directories first.
As far as i know, Media Player can't handle networking.
I use Conduits Pocket Player. It's not free, but IMO it is the best i have tried. It's has the best format support, handles gapless playback and has plugins for album art etc.
There are free good players around, but i have not tested them with streaming, although i believe GS Player can.
TCPMP is free can also player files accross a network, but it's more of a video player really.
i tried all the time to watch streaming in the media player
like
mms://
but the media player find the streaming but only audio is on
the video i cant see why?
do i need codec or somthing???
playlists in wmp
can someone tell me how to add my songs which are in the storage card to the playlist so that I do not need to go down to the file explorer?
What I did was the following!!
I added the songs to the library but nothing seems to be there! But there are 128 songs it has searched///
i know i am missing somethng out there but what I do not know///

In my case, i get the video but not the sound>>>> Interesting.... I also used mms:// location to load the video file... Windows Media Player 10 for mobile is not the same as that of windows-xp one ... however, they should not miss the basic things...
any ideas boys and girls... on this issue..
Hi, in you media player options, go to the network tab, and set it to 128 or higher, and uncheck detect internet connection speed, it should play video then.
your the best its working
thanks my friend
thank you also. It works great
Hey guys, did a search and couldn't find anything, I am trying to play a video I recorded on my Hermes running WM6 on my computer, I get video, but no sound, anyone know what codec I need?
Try VLC media player
Presumably the video files are .MP4 from your Hermes??
Have a look at VLC media player - a freeware media player available for multiple platforms. Get it from HERE.
Post back if it works, then other users can benefit too
Cheers,
Mark.
The video plays fine on VLC as well as Windows Media player 11 and Media Player classic, but I get no sound.
Does anyone know whether is possible (and how) to listen to mp3 stream over the net? I was trying to stream deluxemusic radio, the HD brought up the media player, but it could not relay the stream.
Thank you in advance
Try Resco Radio.
try installing real player, I can successfully stream mp3s using real player and also coreplayer
also u can use gsplayer or mortplayer
Hi,
I am looking for an alternative to HTC's Streaming Media Player.
Why? Well, their player has some glitches which causes the T-Mobile Netherlands Mobile TV streams to behave pretty strange (showing up weird colors and blocks all over the screen), while another phone (running Symbian) is just working fine.
The player has to support AAC+ audio, because T-Mobile encodes the audio in that format.
Can anyone tell me if there is a good player out there, that can do this for me? It doesn't have to be free.
Thanks!

Try Kinoma Player. But you have to pay for it, if you want to use AAC+.
