hey guys
i wondered how swf games run on my nexus android build so i downloaded crush the caste, flash player and the swf player on my phone. everything works fine but all games i tested run with aboutb 5 fps :/
is there any possibility to make those files "better playable"?

I've installed PureGingerbread gpc_hd2_gingerbread_v1.7 on my HD2.
Everything works quite good, but i can't open any video files.
I've tried .xvid and .mkv with built in player and mVideoPlayer.
Can you help me ? Is that ROM broken or I should install some codecs ?

Hellos, after hour on end searching and trying to get WinMo 6.5 to run this .swf file, which I critically need to learn kata, I am wondering if any of the ported SD android builds has a flash player able to run it?

Tried installing the AmeriCan android SD thingie, and the regular browser + Flash 10.2 plays it totally fine, no need for the swf player though
tried to open the .swf in stock browser on gingerbread and it played just fine and is working. Kinda small on a cell phone screen though .. hard to hit the small buttons

Download mx player, and install the codec for arm7 tablet.
you need to install a third party media player. the stock media player in android dosent play alot of files(or at least not very well). there are several out there just pick a good free one. most people use moboplayer and it will install the needed codecs when you open it(but last time i tried it ,it didnt work on acer android 3.1 why i dont know) so I use rockplayer light for now. it plays most files with out need for other downloads.
There are tons of media players just go to market and find one that you like and that plays your files.
