Today, when I check the updates of the apps, I found that this app keeps showing "installing" but the app has been installed properly yesterday.
I tried several ways to solve it but all doesn't works.
1.) Restart
2.) Unmount & Remount SD card
3.) Uninstalled it by Titanium Backup
4.) Restore the app with older version
5.) Kill "Market" in Taskiller
But all of these cannot solve the problem.
Current rom: mattc Leo + Froyo w/Sense 1.8
Does anyone know how to solve it? thanks in advance.
1. go to your settings
2. select "applications"
3. then select "manage applications"
4. press menu and select "filter" then "All"
5. scroll down to:
- "Market" then select "clear cache"
- "Market" then select "clear data"

Doesn't that also clean your settings in the market? I've read that someone had done this and the whole market just hung up.
Thanks!
Worked great for my EVO. I had deleted an app and when I went back into the market to install it, it kept saying install.
my solution is re-sign google talk .

Hello,
I recently updated to OMJ's Froyo 2.2 ROM v2.1, FroYo 3.26.651.6 (august 4th) and afterwards, I kept getting a "sync is unavailable" error, when I would try to sync my google contacts.
This is the answer I found after an hour and a half.
1. Settings
2. Applications
3. Manage Applications
4. Running TAB
5. Scroll down to "Contacts Storage"
6. click on the "Clear Data" button (should zero out.) may or may not start increasing in size almost immediately
7. go back to settings
8. choose "Accounts & Sync"
9. choose "Google"
10. Sync your contacts if it hasn't already started by itself

failed Again how can i fixed this it keeps installing again insuficient storage available
if you're using an sd build delete your android rom then install your rom from beginning. i do so when i encounter strange problems.
Because of 10 message limit I could'nt open this thread in dev. section. First you must flash gappsv6.zip in CWM recovery mode. Next you must open the device to homescreen. When you click the market icon it doesn't start. After that restart again to CWM recovery and you must flash gappsv7.1 or gappsfixer. This solves market download (-101) problem. I only tried Android 4.0.3
Thanks bro
please could you upload the files that you use?

gapssv6 from codeworkxxx http://ul.to/86ig5osy
gapssv7.1 from codeworkxxx http://www.multiupload.com/150X4ISH6I
For me i worked only to flash gapps fixxer with CWM, reboot.
At restart Market dosn´t open, flash gapps7.1 with CWM, reboot and the set up you g account again.
Done!
(using westcrisp v0.4)
even Faceunlock works after that. No other fixxes required!
Is that works or not? Someone who tries (except me ) please writes it down
I had the same and asked Google support. This is what they suggested and it helped:
Hi Sebastian,
Thanks for contacting us. To resolve this issue, I recommend temporarily
uninstalling Market updates. To do so, please follow these steps:
Android 1.6-2.1:
1. Go to "Home" > "Menu" > "Settings" > "Applications" > "Manage
applications"
2. Press "Menu," then touch "Filter'" > "All"
3. Scroll down and select the Market app
4. Touch "Uninstall updates"
Android 2.2 or higher:
1. Go to "Home" > "Menu" > "Settings" > "Applications" > "Manage
applications"
2. Touch the "All" tab
3. Scroll down and select the Market app
4. Touch "Uninstall updates"
This will revert Android Market to the original version that came with
your device. Android Market should automatically self-update to the
current version within a few days - there's no way to permanently
uninstall Market updates. However, you can perform the following steps to
ensure the latest version of Android Market is updated properly:
1. Launch Android Market
2. Switch to the Home screen
3. Wait 5-10 minutes for Market to self-update
4. Re-launch Market
To check your version of Android Market:
1. Go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications
2. Touch the All tab
3. Scroll down and select Market
Also, please make sure you've cleared the cache and data of both the
Market app and the Download manager. Here's how:
1. Visit Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage applications
2. Tab over to "All"
3. Select the Market app, and then tap "Clear cache" and "Clear data"
For the Download manager:
1. Visit Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage applications
2. Tab over to "All"
3. Select "Download manager," and then tap "Clear data" and "Clear cache"
Please note that after clearing Market data, if you have set a PIN code
and/or a content filter, you'll need to re-apply these settings. If you
have any additional questions, or if the problem persists, please don't
hesitate to let me know.
Best Regards,
Rebekah

I havnt looked into what the gapps fixer does but maybe this is what is does?!
I have a new Nook Color running 1.4.2 and followed the instructions with CWM 3.2.0.1 and MN 5.02.19. Everything looks good except apps won't install. I see the Android market and have downloaded all apps from my Google account. I can see they are downloaded but when I try to install, nothing happens.
I've used NookColor Tools to force stop, clear data and clear cache in the Market app but still can't install.
Edit: I've reinstalled with the apps2sd version plus the stock kernel. Still no joy. Have spent an entire day getting nowhere. I see that NookColor Tool doesn't have any hidden white text on a white background. It's all white text on black background. Toggleing the tick box doesn't seem to do anything.
Can anyone please help me?
heh... toggling that select box breaks app installs for me. I fixed it by rerunning the sd-boot root again. After the root, just verify that the box is selected.
There's also the solution from old_fart
you try clearing the cache and data of both the Google Play Store app and the Download manager
1.Visit Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage applications
2.Tab over to "All"
3.Select the Google Play Store app, and then tap "Clear data" and "Clear cache;" then, select Download manager and tap "Clear data" and "Clear cache"
Good luck

Thanks Ron, I do remember the select box in NookColor Tool was already ticked after I ran the sd-boot root. I'll try once more.....Could the problem be that the Market isn't updating to Google Play Store? I'm stuck with the old Android Market. I can see my paid-for apps but it won't download them for installation. Can I force an update?
ps. old_fart's solution didn't work for me
Third time lucky....I tried the root again and this time I didn't toggle the NookColor Tool tick box. Market started it's upgrade to Play Store within seconds and Angry Birds installed first time. Thanks Ron
Is anyone else getting this error when trying to download apps?

1. Open the "Google Play" app and press the home button to return
2. Go to Settings → Applications → Manage Applications
3. Select the "ALL" tab, Search for "Google Play Store" and press it to open.
4. Press "Clear cache"
5. Press "Force stop"
6. Return to Settings → Applications → Manage Applications
7. Press "Google Services Framework"
8. Press "Clear Data"
9. Press "Force Stop"
10. Start "Google Play Store" and it should give an error
11. Reboot.
Once your device has restarted Google Play Store should work. Wait a minute or too if it doesn't.
This should help if a corrupt cache is the cause of your problems (a corrupt cache might lead to strange error messages, amongst others). If it doesn't help, you might try the same steps but include "Clear Data" for the playstore app.
