Hey I'm just wondering if anybody can paste their original APN settings. Mine orginally had 3 diff APN's but I deleted them and have been using just one, but never wrote down the original 3. Can somebody share theirs please.

Whats wrong with you? Just go to your provider and ask about your settings or use google to find it. Anyway this is a Samsung Galaxy 3 forum not HTC.
The whole world?
It doesn't have the whole world bro, there are no regional carriers in that list. I dont see any Cellular Ones or Cincinnati Bells in there.
Thanks so much. It's great and work with me.

okay guys i just installed the miui ROM on my phone and everything is amazing! except i have no network connection :/ iv also tried installing the different radio's and still no luck can any of you guys help me? i need my network connection!
Thankyou in advance
In general MIUI is slow to pick up network regardless of baseband. It takes about 1 minute to pick it up. Try reflashing rom.

Make sure you have the APN correctly configured.
Settings --> Wireless and Network --> Mobile Networks --> Access Point Names.
You should have settings in there for your mobile network.

Check ur imei. If it has been changed there are two ways to restore it if u have backed up efs folder:
1. Restore with nitrality app.
2. Use root explorer, copy nv_data.bin to system/efs, overwrite existing, and delete nv_data.bin.md5 then reboot.
If no back up:
Reflash stock rom.

1. Go to Settings -> More... -> Mobile Networks
2. These settings are applied:
- Network mode: GSM/WCDMA auto
- System select: Automatic
- CDMA subscription: NV (RUIM/SIM not possible)
When manually searching for network the message is displayed: "Error while searching for network". No networks are found. The system does find home network automatically.

Hey!
I have the international D802 version and the "settings / tethering & networks / mobile networks / network mode" only shows 3 options, GSM/WCDMA; CDMA only; GSM only.
When I go into dialing *#*#4636#*#* or if I go into dialing 3845#*802# etc...to choose LTE/GSM/WCDMA! I can choose this mode and it works UNTIL I reboot, then it goes back to GSM/WCDMA!
Is there is anyway to make the LTE/GSM/WCDMA mode stick?!
Thanks!
EDIT: SOLVED
In build.prop change ro.telephony.default_network=9 from 9 to 11!
I got LTE settings in mobile networks menu. And it sticks after a reboot!
Thanks to @ejerez for the info in Here!
Heads up! It's solved in case anyone is interested!

Hi,
Thanks for the solution but I just need to check for the build.prop file, there are 2 similar lines as follows:
ro.telephony.default_network=9
& the other is:
#ro.telephony.default_network=9
Which do I change or do I change both? And do I need to change the permissions after changing it?
Thanks for your advice.

Man let me clarify that this solution worked for me on some ROMs and didn't work on other ROMs!
Both are the same, the # symbol in front of the expression makes it a comment and the program will disregard it!
So you can change only the first one, or to be safe you can change both. Nothing to lose!
Good luck!

Heya.
Recently some networks in my country started supporting lte. Anyway i tried enabling it on my phone:
I tried those 2 numbers:
*#*#4633#*#*
3845#*802#
In both of them I can change the setting and I see its working, but when I go to mobile network settings it gets reset and the option is not shown there. I can actually see the network H sign disappearing+reappearing when I go to the settings...
I tried restarting the phone, no help.
How can I get my settings to not reset each time?
Thanks!

If you have root go into system/app and first back up and then delete lteconfigs apk and lteconfigs odex and that should make lte an option in settings

Hey, thanks for replying.
I see the lteconfigs.apk but not the lteconfigs.odex there
[edit]
I deleted just the apk and the option appeared as you stated. Is it enough?
