I am guessing he wants to drain the battery so he can recalibrate the battery.
Turn everything on?

Turn up your brightness. Leave the screen on. Play music. Turn on Google maps with GPS on.
Your battery will go down faster than Tara Reid on an average Tuesday.

Actully brightness increases\ decreases till the relative point of pressing.
What i mean is if you press and hold at middle of status bar brightness increses till 50 % and if you press and hold at the top right corner , it goes to 100 %.

searching and reading can show you everything you need to know.
Only thing ive disabled is google play apps auto update.
My brightness is always at max and disabling auto updates helped me out greatly. You really don't need latest updated apps to run. Just go home and update them manually while charging.
My phone goes through over 12 hours on a single charge. But then I am not a heavy user. Just facebook, web browsing, emails when I am not on ky desks. Maybe 1 hour of phone conversation daily.

So I've been flashing a few roms now and some have governor settings. I am always interested in extending battery life, so was wondering if anybody has had success in doing so. If so, what are your settings or recommendations? I don't want to sacrifice too much performance, just maybe extend the battery life a little more.

I just leave it on ondemand with row I/O. I don't touch the clocks. I get 16 hours out of it easy. Actually I'm on three hours right now with 90% battery. Been on Facebook whole time. But I use greenify and crossbreeder
