Hey guys just wanted 2 start out by teling you that I am using dk28 and the newest viper rom. My phone had been working just fine until the other night. Then all of a sudden every time the screen times out the phone will power off. In order for it to power back on I have 2 pull the battery. The weird thing about this though is if the charger is plugged in it will not turn off.
I have already tried reinstalling the rom after a full wipe of the phone. I have also tried a different rom. Should I flash back 2 stock and see if this continues? If so can anyone provide a a link for the files needed in odin to do so.. thanks in advance!
can anyone help me? my battery won't charge?
I have a second one but my original battery doesn't charge anymore,
it wants too boot but it has to little power and I can't get it booted in android.
I tried installing WM6.5 stock but still it doesn't do anything.
anyone? I am desperate, I flashed my phone back to orginal (via SD method)
I can't get it working, not at all
Make sure the battery prongs are straight.
That is for sure, I can load others. Thank you though. Anyone else?
Hello Guys,
I bricked my Milestone 2 when trying to install the update for version Android 2.3.
It appers the Google logo when the phone starts, but it shuts off by it self.
When I try the recovery mode:
I get to it, but when I select the option of wipe data and reset to factory, does it start, but shuts off in the middle of the progress.
(When does it shut, I can turn back on easy)
When I try the bootloader:
Stuck saying that battery is low Can't program.
(I left the phone charging all day and I get the same message)
I do not know what to do anymore, some of the users here, says that is the battery.
But, the battery is bad or the phone is not charging?
When I plug the charger, the light turns on.
What do you guys think?
I already see the option in use the Nandroid Recovery, but I'm nor sure how to do it...
I do not have any friend with the same phone, so I will have to buy another battery or a universal charger, that I can charge the battery with out the phone.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Jeferson.
Wow, that was there so many times. For instance:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1344740
or http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1363918
in the sum some facts:
- you can't charge battery in bricked milestone 2
- you MUST have some charge in battery for SBF flashing via bootloader
1) you have to charge battery
2) you have to flash SBF via RSDLite
Milestone 2 hardbrick
First I upgraded the milestone 2 kitkat then disappeared until it was trying to downgrade and there it all began. No button works x vol + vol - @ all possible combinations already tried the rsd lite does not recognize the phone, adb and fastboot also not the phone, but makes up the sbf_flash is waiting for the phone in the end, the only thing q works is the LED side of the micro usb is solid and sometimes q could use rsd she appeared sw update in progress so but after that it also could not switch on the phone. I read a lot and could not find any case equal to staff]
Please help me
God bless us all ..
Thanks Hemerson
sorry about my english

I have not read in any of the posts about a boot loop quite like mine but only when it charges. It works fine otherwise. When I go to charge it will go into a boot loop, it will make it all the way into windows then start it all over again.
I can get it to charge if I hold the power and the camera buttons together and wait till I see the plug phone into computer screen on the phone and I see the red LED come on but this is the only way, if I use the wall charger it will start to charge for a few then go into a boot loop.
I got Cerebellum ROM V2 on my HTC Surround Windows Phone.
Is there anything I can do to get this back to normal?
Your help is greatly appreciated.
Anybody? Should I flash it with NWAs rom?
Please anybody. I would really like to know if I can flash this with another rom, like DeepShinnings or Dynamics. I know its not for the same phone but it is the same family.
Ok everyone, it started to go into a continuous boot loop so I flashed it with NWA 2.3 rom.
Seems fine. Please if someone out there has been adventurous enough to flash it with Dynamics let me know how the outcome was.
You can delete this thread.
Thanks all.
Hi guys,
I had Pure nexus rom installed:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/development/rom-pure-nexus-project-layers-t3237366
and everything worked fine for weeks. Yesterday I noticed that my nexus 4 is using battery too much, without any reason.. Then my phone turned off, try to restart but it was stuck on google logo. At that point there was 20 or 30% battery left. I boot it to recovery, wipe everything and tried to restore factory settings, cos I didnt have any backup on phone. But again it was stuck on google logo.
So now I cant boot it cos there's no system installed on it, basicaly there is nothing on my phone. I tried Nexus Root Toolkit, but my pc dont recognize my phone, when I boot to recovery it's still the same, so I cant install drivers..
At this point, I have no idea what to do.. Can anyone help pls?
Thx
Can you get into fastboot? Are you using Win7? Tried different USB ports and cables?

Thx for quick reply !
Yes, I'm using win7 64x, I tried all usb ports and 3 different cables and nothing. I can get into fastboot and recovery, but pc still don't recognize anything..
i am currently under the same situation
only difference is i can still fastboot and flash a recovery (twrp for that matter)
afterwards, when booting to recovery - i can install a rom
once the rom is installed, reboot does not boot into the ROM and instead just displays the google logo - then vibrates a little - then the screen turns off
I just tried on 2 other win7 pc's, still nothing.. Nexus root toolkit just can't establish adb/fastboot connection..
edit: other thing I tried is to copy ROM file on usb stick, and then connect usb stick with micro usb cable to phone, and when I'm in recovery (twrp 3.0.2-0) there is just ''internal storage'' option.. Is that normal, should twrp see external USB drive? Cos I'm thinking that maybe something is wrong with usb charging port (I replaced that board month ago).
Hi,
I have a similar problem:
I had my mobile in working condition and once when upgrading the OS to 5.0.1, it downloaded the OS and was upgrading. During that process, the charge got over and hence the phone was shutdown. There after, it was not proceeding further from Google screen when trying to reboot. So, i thought battery is dead and replaced the battery with a new one. Now, i am getting the following problem:
The phone doesn't turn on(not even getting GOOGLE screen now). But, If I keep holding power button and Volume down button and try to insert the charging cable immediately then i get the boot menu but it wont stay there for even a second and goes to GOOGLE logo screen and gets shut down. Please help me with this.
Hi guys,
I menaged to fix the problem, my problem was charging port (smal L shaped board) that I replaced month ago. That's why there was no connection.
I got another one this morning from ebay, and Nexus Root Toolkit established connection immediately.

That looks like a stuck power button.
Try just holding the volume down button and plugging the charger.
If you see the fastboot screen, you have a stuck power button.
Just experienced this issue on a Nexus 5 and I was able to recover from it by "massaging" the power button for a while.
