SOLVED - NZBMobile - won't install on any Android Build I've tried - HD2 Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting and Genera

Hi all,
I can't install NZBMobile on any Android build I've tried for my HD2. It downloads but fails during the installation.
I've tried several times and I've tried a lot of different builds but still get the same problem.
Any ideas would be welcome.
Thanks.

[Q] execute CLRCAD and HARET for android on HD2

When I try to open the downloaded android files on my SD card by tapping first CLRCAD and then HARET I get the following eror message: Files can not be opened due to a not signed trusted certificate or one of its componenets can not be found. Please help I'm getting desperate. Have tried reinstalling everything several times. I have radio ROM version 2.06., maybe that is the reason? Thank you.
You have to allow unsigned apps to perform actions/install in WM
something to do with sdkcerts.cab in windows mobile... dont remember exactly.
Wait for sometime... someone will help you.

You answered your own question. New radio is called for I think.
are you running stock if so you need hardspl3 after that you need a custom rom , look for chunkyrom for android it works well , then look in to flashing a radio rom , search and you shall find
oh... forgot Welcome to XDA
Yes, first try changing your Radio to 2.12.50.02_2 (Hope u have hardSPL'ed ur phone)
Looks like you have problems due to ur smartphone not accepting unsigned apps....install sdkcert.cab (search forum) for WinMo
well this problem suddenly started occurring
i've been running android builds for months now and not once have I encountered problems running haret and CLRCAD.
but it suddenly happened yesterday when i tried to run Mdeejay froyo revolution 1.5 for the 2nd time (the first time was successful)
and it started giving me the same error message
radio: 2.15.50.14
Hi all, I faced the same issue above, sudden happen.... Im using Rom 2.15
wow are you guys all noobs?
just download bsb tweaks and enable unknown programs.
its called "Policies" something.. youll find it there.
(btw if you are connected to pc with your phone, disconnect it =\ then try)

[Q] Skyscape

Hello everybody
Has anyone installed Skyscape on Hd2 running Android 2.1 or 2.2 build?!!
I've installed it from the market, and it works till the point of updating resources, I just get "The application Skyscape (process com.skyscape.android.ui) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
I have made many changes include re-installing different reader versions, reformatting SD,and trying different ROM and the problem persists!!!
Any idea of getting this app work?!
I hope it will work too... Don't know what error is that... If skyscape works perfectly in android HD2 then I will not use WM6.5 anymore... LoL
try unmounting sdcard first, it probably is set up to install on sdcard in froyo...

Wow! Thanks alot... Finally here come the solution...

Your English skillz are good dude. Did you try to format your SD card and copying a fresh Android build back over and starting again?
Yes i did, crisisinthecity! But nothing.
the strange thing it's that android loads and when finishes and makes data.img, the phone shutdown it self.
I have seen that in the SD there is a file of windows mobile, a sort of encryption's file, every time i formated my SD and copied on it the android directory when i loaded android at the next reboot (after the shutdown) i saw this file on the root of the SD.
please anyone know this problem?
Thanks.
Nobody can help me?
please.
Do you have a different storage card you could try? Everything works fine in Windows?
yes, i've 2 SD card, one class 4 and class 2. I tried with both, the result it's the same!
yes, on windows everythings works.
when i run clrcad.exe i run it with lights on and then tap to haret.exe! i think it's correct. i flash all my roms after task29, all my roms work correctly on my device and have no problems... I've no more ideas!
It all started when the phone is off with Android.
Now i'm trying to re-flash vbnrom and mdeejay froyo sense 2.4 but i think it isn't a rom's compatibility problem.
Hi guys, I solved my problem to run Android!
It was a stupid problem... now is perfect! I post the solution in case someone else had the same problem.
As you know there are two ways to load wm rom:
the first is via USB, the second is directly load the rom on sd and flash it from your phone without pc.
Both are successful but with a BIG difference (for me)...
If use usb method to load the rom, it created the file data.img but did not run the build of Android.
The wm rom works perfectly but android NO.
I solved it by putting the rom on sd and flash it from the phone.
Thanks to everyone for the help!

[Q] Cannot open file.......PROBLEM.

Hi,
Im having a huge amount of problems with trying out a new version of android,
The install failed so i removed that version of Android off my SD card, but now i get that error message(Cannot open file...) every time i try to run "CLRCAD" or "haret",....worked fine before,
ive tried...
-many different versions of Android (all very nice before this error by the way)
-deleting every possible data file on the sd card
-rebooting the Phone many times,
Any ideas?

Maybe a hard reset of your phone is the solution..

See you Soon Guys
Hey all, thanks so much for developing this. It is amazing... I have successfully installed Android and has been running it for several times now. Everything is great. I can download and use all the Apps with no problem.
However just few days ago, I am starting to get an error when I boot Android from WinMo. The pop-up error reads, "Sorry! The process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
After clicking on a button which says "Force Close" on the pop-up, the error appears again and again - and it's never ending. However I can still see Android loading and updating at the back. Just that this error keeps coming up repeatedly, and I have no choice but to off my phone and have it run only on WinMo.
I appreciate on any advice that you may have so that I can run Android again. Thanks in advance!

Do you mean trying without the sim card option?
- Since I am not running android for the first time, I did not remove the sim card when I did a re-boot on Android.
Or clearing all contacts information?
- Cos i have my contacts on my sim card. So i did not do any synchronization and importing of my contacts from Gmail.
Did I miss anything out? Or am I doing anything wrong?
Once again, thanks so much for your help and guidance..

I meant clearing contacts yeah,sorry
seems it worked for others
I would sugest an sd card format and Android re-install,there might be an sd card error which persists..
did you also try http://tinyurl.com/3zanh95 ?
p.s. when you set up phone for 1st time did you put your tweeter login in HTC wizard form?

Thanks so much for the advice.. but I pretty much guessed that it was best to do a SD card reformat and Android re-installation..
I was just hoping that there was a better way than to do that..
I must have done "some thing wrong" while running on Android which caused that error..
But yeah, thanks anyway! Appreciate it loads..
uhhhh.. i don't tweet.. so i am quite sure that would be a "No"...
besides, i have been running Android for very many times before this..
Until one day, i boot Android from WinMo like how I always do.. I WASN'T trying to do anything else.. just a Boot..
And the error appeared, and it just keeps on coming endlessly.. with Android running in the background..
