Anybody gotten Guns'n'Glory to work on HD2 running Android? I'm still on HyperDroid build, so I was wondering if people on newer builds can run it? Looks like a fun game
Works fine on Froystone 3.1
It's the DPI density problem
If you are at 240 DPI, every game should work...
I'm using Evo Revolution 1.6 and every game works right..
Did you try to unmount the SD card, install the game and remount the card again? That solved many problems with apps for me.

Yes, my dpi is at 240 and I did try the "UNmount/Mount" trick... the game installed fine, but it crashes whenever i choose a map.
Thanks for the input...it must be this build of android then. I'll will need to update my android soon anyway
Runs good on mdeejay's desire z build.. on the last level its a pain..

I upgraded my TiMo android to Froyostone V2 with sense. Everything seems to be working fine, in fact better compared to other older releases. Battery life is better. But a couple of apps don't work at all. They are HYTC stock market app, HTC footprint app. They always force closes we opened or when we try to use them.
Friendstrem app too force closes when you try to post something on Facebook wall. Anyone else seeing this problem with this build? I am using energy winMO ROM .
Thanks,

Before you tell me to use the search button i've been looking and trying out every sense rom there is and with every one of them there is something that's wrong. Now my real question is if any one could suggest a perfect sense rom. When I say perfect I mean good battery life and not laggy when switching through home screens.
I would be really grateful if someone did.
Thanks anyways!

Ok, I won't tell you to search.... but as this is a question..... I can tell you to post in Q & A next time.... and in my opinion, there is no perfect sense rom and never will be.... it can't be compiled just for our devices as their is no source code.... so it can never be perfect for our devices..... and another opinion of mine... sense sucks.... if you want sense so bad, but want a good working rom... do it this way.... install hyperdroid cm7..... install he launcher and choose the sense look in it.... then install fancy widget and choose the sense like clock theme.... then their, you have a perfectly working build that looks like sense......
Coredroid 1.6

Have you tried HE launcher off the market? That combined with the fancy widget that's modified to look like the sense clock really looks a lot like sense.
Not a big fan of Sense myself, but I agree its Coredroid..the last version I tried was v1.5 it was really good, free of most issues and incidentally my last sense build...After that its CM7 all the way, with some time for MIUI in between which is also quite impressive but when it comes to raw speed nothing beats cm7/aosp builds...
I recommend imilka's Desire HD.
The only disadvantage is slow booting.

Hi,
Without repeating what diesburg has said, I am using since two month boyppc rom. The actual version on my hd2 is GB sense 2.3.4 v25. For information it is not htc sense but a look like called launcher pro (LP). It is enough similar to make my day and the batterie last for about 2 days, good speed and bug free.
The other thing that I like is the easy installation
I can honestly recommend any rom based on Sense 3.0. Practically no problems, no FC, no reboots, and I have not noticed any graphical bugs. 300MB free ram after boots and Everything works like a charm. I almost forgot to add that cam records in 720p
But for me the fastest and best performing Froyo Sense ROM is IMilka's Inc. with tytung_r10 kernel for Qaliza_DHD, i tried this Rom on CLK and is the fastest for me and i think that if you looking perfect sense rom you should try this combination.
If you decide to go down the route of installing a fancy widget clock, try to find version 1.3.0 as its the most sense-like clock. if I find a link for it i'll pop it in here.
EDIT: http://www.filesonic.com/file/12961909/Fancy_Widget_1.3.0.apk
Wait camera records in 720p!? Just like in windows phone 7. OK try it out.

I actually ended up udi. Get launched pro with fancy widget and using theme manager with complete sense theme. I also got the sense dock and the sense wallpaper.
Do. Thanks for all the suggestions and help!!!

The thing about CLK is that its too complicated to install, I've tried once but failed.. I installed the rom in CWM and rebooted and it comes back to the white text and black background.....
i have tried alot of sense build...
i think rafdroid is great...
this build have more option to customize n stable support all app's that i used when that apps can't run on another sense build..
Takes a bit of learning but once you get past that you don't go back.

Installs and works fine on Leedroid 3.0.8.2. I even installed over the existing app instead of uninstalling first.
Not sure if I like it yet though. May go back to the previous version instead, but will give this version a bit longer and see if it grows on me.
Thanks.

It comes on XJs latest MIUI Rom.
Definitely and improvement - it's probably more bandwidth hungry than the old one.
Nice Market))
But it is slower than older...
on the other hand interface is brilliant!
Tnx Google for it ;-[
Works well installed straight over the old market on - InsertCoin CM7 HBOOT 1.0.8
Did work for me long time ago already. Uninstalled since it's much slower than the older version lately.

Have to revert back to my old market again...
Hey Guys.
Ive been trying alot of different roms atm. But none of them really run as smoth that i expected. And when i get a rom who runs fairly smooth, i take up all the disk space - so i cant install any apps...
So whats is the most smoth running rom, who still gives me some space to install apps?
Best Regards
Thomas
Er, you do know that you can move most apps to to the sd card.
sounds like you may have a memory hardware problem.
what memory does phone show?
Sent from my HTC Sensation using XDA App
i solved the problem
youse an sd card with Class 4. that are faster and more powerful. You can see this in the small circled number which sd card you have.
Windows Phone 7 Rom. Fast, Smooth and you can install tons of apps.
Yes windows phone 7 is fast and very smooth, if you want to use android try a cyanogenmod 7 rom or a miui rom.
the fastest android rom for me was hyperdroid gbx v12
What about the battery drain issue with WP7? Has that been resolved...
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
the battery drain depends on using but the radio rom is also important
the 2.12 radio is better than 2.15 for the battery, but you have to test it on your own
Yes the HyperDroid is the best Rom if you want Android. You must change only the lcd density to normal (240).

Hi all. Today I flashed the beats audio mod on top of my existing ROM (BlackICE v1.60) and lost all my sound. My question is: If I reflash BlackICE would it get rid of the Beats audio mod?
Cheers in advance..
Refalshing black ice will get rid of beats mod. Happend to me on ice cold, re flashing rom will fix it
Sent from my HTC ONE X... Lol jk -__-
of course if you reflash the rom, you will have the new rom, everything you've changed will get lost, so go ahead and do that
Yeah, just realised that after reflashing, thabks anyway guys. I've just noticed, but some apps aren't available after flashing (I could download them with CM7, IceColdSandwich & stock sense 3.0). Is is cause the dpi has been changed?

Most likely. Apps in the market look at your dpi to make sure they will work, if you change it to something the app doesnt support then you wont be able to DL them
Is there any way to trick the Play Store into thinking I have a different dpi without actually changing it?

To be honest I am not sure. I dont change my dpi at all due to these issues and apps will FC if used on a DPI that it doesnt support sometimes. I think there maybe a market that ignores the dpi but like I said I am not sure.
If u download lcd density Modder pro it has an option that allows you to change density and fix market compatibility issues by downloading a modded market I'm on dpi 200 and i can download all apps with no issues
