hello, I need aid to install a ROM for this HTC Touch GSM, I have a HTC Kaiser 8925 I have installed many roms for Windows mobile 6,1 and 6,5 for this model and work to me very well. but for this HTC Touch I have problem, when I ignite appears a screen tricolor .....
I believe that this unblocked 1. that programs use to unblock I do not have to install new the ROM.
in the screen tricolor you appear this..

a tutorial exists or they can help me step by step to intalar new roms, first I must unblock it. I wait for its quick one replaced… thanks eduard
The roms in this forum are for cdma touch (Vogue). They will not work for elf/elfin. There is another forum for those phones.

Op, el_papi_chulo2004 please look in the ROM section and all your questions will be answered. Make sure you CID unlock before doing anything though if it is needed!

The Herald is not the p3450, but rather the p4350.
They are similar, but they are VERY VERY different. If your phone is a p4350 and you tried to unlock it using the method outlined in the thread, it stands to reason that it did not work.
If you have an HTC touch (p3450) then you are posting in the wrong forum. The Elf forum is the one for you.

There are a dozen threads suggesting to download WST_4.2.2 , but after 20 min searching I cannot find where to download.
I am a noob (with htc devices) if anyone can give me any additional advice on upgrading my o2 xda orbit 1 to wm6.1 with touch flo, I would appreciate direction.
It originally had wm.5.0, I have just bought it with wm6.0 installed and itis sim unlocked (do not know cid lock status).

Best ROM by far are the Artemis Touch roms, unfortunately the creator has left the forum, but there is a thread here which still has the links. This gives you touchflo, and the HTC Home plugin, amongst various other tools.
I use an Orbit 1 - downloaded the ZIP with Artemis Touch 4.02 full, and there's two batch files in there, first one for USPL, then the second one for the ROM itself.

hey guys, I have been reading these forums but I am still totally stuck..
I have a HTC TOUCH DUAL - no network branding whatsoever, details:
rom version - 1.31.710.12
rom date - 12/05/07
radio version - 1.58.21.23
Everytime I try to download the new WM6.1 ROM from the HTC website, it says that my serial number is INVALID. So I found a serial number someone posted on the forums for the WWE 6.1 ROM and typed it in...and it worked, I downloaded the ROM. But then when I connect my touch dual thru activesync and launch the ROM install program, it says that the ROM is not suitable for my device....
My touch dual was bought in Australia. It is definately a REAL one.
Also I am a complete noob when it comes to those "custom roms" for touch dual. Can anyone recommend me one to install??? Do i need to change the radio and uspl also?????

I searched a while but could not find a solution for my problem...
I am using a HTC HD2 branded and "locked" by T-Mobile Germany.
Using my S/N I can not download original HTC-ROMs.
So my only option is using TMO-Roms from their website... :-/
I want to install NAND-Version of Android because WinMo is so embarassing. Especially the "Marketplace" is really NOT good... -.-
I tried to follow the manuals on your pages, but I can not find a hint for my problem...
Do I have to "break" anything to get any other Rom running?
I found sth. called "GoldCard" but... oh my god... Very complicated!
I hope you guys can help me.

Hspl4, choose 2.08.hspl
can now flash anything, but use USB, not SD.
you will want to change radio first as things needed for android require high version radios. Go for 2.15.50.x radio.
If your current winmo rom is version 3.14 you wont need to change radio.
I've the same phone:
HD2 HTC with german t-mobile software, but it is not branded on the cover.
Also it says it has 512mb of rom and 448 of ram
SO I think it should be the EU HTC, and i should use rom and guides for the EU version

this morning i tried to change original rom with onyx 5.6
i've made this things:
i've installed cert.spcs.cab and enablerapi.cab
after using ELF_USPL_2.26.0000 i made the procedure for charge rom
and all were ok.
after i used the new os and its worked good. i made an hard reset before using definitively it. but after 10 minutes the system didn't start yet.
It run the image of Tim Operator and shut down.
The boot loader work now. i tryed to reinstall the sistem, the procedure finish without problem but when the system try to initialize the new rom , display the tim logos and after shut down..
someone know what i do and why system not reboot?
i read that i need the original italian rom for retry all my operations..but i don't know hot to find the id of my precedent rom...

yes it's surely elf because on the box the name is htc p3450/3452 Ita S
so elf isn't S i think is the xl model
now i'm going out, but if you can help me to know what is the problem, tomorrow we can meet again
i want to remove tim's brand and i will put in a good rom with large buttons
