am I please to find this forum.! I have just bought an Xda Mini S from O2 in the UK.
I have loads of questions but firstly..
Suddenly last night it froze and it will now not get beyond the o2 mobile logo screen.
I have done a hard reset but all I get is 4 bars, red, green, blue and white across the full width aqnd depth of screen with IPL 1.05 and SPL 1.05 displayed.
What is happening and what do I do please?
I have loaded spb pocket and complete an outlook sncy and both seemed to work ok.

The device is stuck in bootloader mode, try a soft reset using the stylus in the reset hole and that should fix it, if not the apply teh ROM again using the ROM on the O2 web site

A soft reset at the boat loader screen (3 colours) just results in the boot freezing at the Windows Mobile screen again.
The hard rest goes to the bootloader screen as does voice +camera + reset. When connected via the USB cable I get "USB" in the lower left corner.
Is there anything I can do from this bootloader screen please?
I also left the battery out overnight but that didn't help either.

try reflashing the ROM, that should sort it.

I did not appreciate I could flash the ROM despite not being able to make a sync connection. I couldn't even see the XDA in device manager so was surpised when the flash utility actually worked.

i have an spv m3100 andits on a hard reset after the orange logo screen its just stuck on the welcome to windows screen can any body help , sorry for any typose i am using a wii

ActiveSync wasn't finding my phone last night, so I soft reset it. When it started up, it's stuck on white screen (where the blue, windows mobile screen should be). ActiveSync cannot see the phone at all.

I've put it into bootloader menu (SPL 1.09) and connecting the USB cable changes "serial" to "USB"
Windows XP finds "HTC USB Sync" device and ActiveSync's wheels start turning.
A few seconds later, ActiveSync stops wokring, saying the device can't connect.
All I want is to recover my SMSs, the rest I don't care.
Is there a way to connect to the phone's files in 'HTC USB Sync' (bootloader) mode??

I managed to upgrade to 1.09 while stuck in this white screen... is there any fix to the white screen?
The other forum post didnt work, tried the battery off for 20mins, the usb plugged in with no battery (phone doesnt even turn on this way)

Have you tried to flash from SD card... There is a guide i WIKI.
yeah, I had to hard reset and lose my data
i also have the white screen. it just died one day, at the time i didnt even know about roms and i'd never heard of this site.
any help getting it mended would be well appreciated.

Try pulling battery out, other than that, only thing to do is a hard reset.

Details for a hard-reset should be easy to find on this board.
Great reason to backup frequently.
(I use PIMBackup 2.5 everynight at 4am and sbp backup twice a week at 4:30am)

heyy guys i have the same problem with my screen, i bought a new one in ebay, after installed the new screen, i turned on the phone, the screen works fine, but when i turned off the phone and change the sim card, then when i turned on the phone again the screen was in blank!!!
guys if you can help my please i will aprecite it!!! i cant live without a touch screen

My phone gives me white screen every now and then when I reset it. I simply reset again and it's fine.
Seems to occur more frequently the longer I leave the phone without total formatting. (It's Windows - it needs ocassional formatting)
about my white screen
when i turn off the phone and turn on again my screen appears in blank but when i did a hard reset my screen works fine!! i don't really understand my htc 8525 hahaha he is crazy and the call button and end call button doesn't work.

I've done a mistake, during startup, fallen the battery out of the mobile (cover was off), and now the only thing I'm getting on the screen is T-Mobile and staff, with IPL 2.21; SPL 2.21; GSM 02.19.11, OS 2.24.2.5.
Battery of, and again on, is not doing the trick, nore the soft reset button.
Doen have anyone any Ideas for me???

I've read somewhere that I can flash the obile from the flashloader (3color screen), but I'm getting error directly, there is no usb connection, but there is a conection I can see it downbelow the screen

when i try to power it on the htc screen appear and many lines "running" on my screen for a while then the screen goes slow to black or white and i can't do nothing:| i tryed to Hard reset but i still have this problem.
