Not a clue. If it's doing it with all your backups then I'd try a reflash.
Do you know where the contacts are stored on the sd card?

Did you try Google sync? (Go online and check if any of your contacts have numbers listed next to their name... that means your phone synced with Gmail, so you can get all your contacts back. If not, maybe go through the sd card (not sure where they are exactly but google should help)

She ask me why can't she delete certain contacts from her phonebook, when she tries to delete certain contacts, not all have the problem it says can't delete or edit sns contact? How can she delete these contacts?

Where do you save and backup your contacts?
PHONE
SIM
GOOGLE
I prefer to save them to the phone then back it up to Google, but sometimes Google won't sync both ways.
Vibrant on Project-V + Bali-X
I just have all mine saved to Google

I am unable to edit contacts in the stock people app as there is no edit option in the menu...
According to this help info, it should be there but isn't...

Don't sweat it....
Google People is quirky.
It collects contact data from accounts it recognizes, like Yahoo Mail and Skype.
If you try to change data in one of those "foreign" data section, it says This app can not change data. I guess that is reasonable.
You have to use the data "owner", like Skype, to modify it.

There are several Apps on the Play Store for managing (add/delete) contacts on your SIM.
