just thought of nice idea here
if it is not such a pain for members to post their APN settings in this manner
for this to serve as a reference guide so it would be of much help for
people having trouble finding the same.

Hey Chiasoft, this has been the only combination i have been able to get mms working and allow the phone to find my location (for weather, estimated location for maps).

I have attempted using the default that came with your new modded darkstone froyostone build (the same one you listed here), however i could not get mms. Are these perhaps region dependent? I live in Houston, Texas. Also, If i take out the Port: 8080 and leave this blank it will not locate my position... Any ideas?

Thanks for this
I read most of your TMO thread and checked inside Mdeejay_eVo_Sense_v._1.0_Warm and the xml file seems to be there but not addressed to change any settings.
Is there an easy way to make it work or do the newer roms require more sorting out

hehe so... got my happy self onto CM6 and fiddled around with some MMS threads here and there and everywhere to find out the APN settings... No dice on MMS
Then I plugged this in and it works for me

Then after saving it, I power cycled it and once I came back It's all good
hehe don't mean to be all repeatitive with the threads on the board kinda had to rip the settings from my t-mo wing.
I'm using Froyo's new 1/1/11 build, I'm sure its user error but here are my settings.
Name: T-Mobile US
APN: epc.tmobile.com
Proxy: 216.155.165.050

I can recieve but cannot send, also when I try to send it'll lock me from recieving until I reboot.
First off, I have a Desire Z (Bell Version) that I have rooted with stable version of CM 7.03.
I have been problems sending MMSes for a while now. I've looked up the various settings listed all over the Internet, but nothing has worked. I've tinkered and I rebooted the phone everytime I changed the APN settings.
Here's what's on my phone currently (this is after doing much tinkering from the various settings I've found on the Internet):
Name: AT&T
APN: wap.cingular
Proxy: Not Set
Port: 80
Username: [email protected]
Password: CINGULAR1
Server: Not Set
MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
MMS Proxy: 69.209.11.32
MMS Port: 8080
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
Authentication Type: PAP or CHAP
APN Type: default,supl,mms
Now after deleting this APN and resetting to default, this is what I have:
Name: ATT
APN: wap.cingular
Proxy: Not Set
Port: Not Set
Username: [email protected]
Password: Not Set
Server: Not Set
MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
MMS Proxy: wireless.cingular.com
MMS Port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
Authentication Type: Not Set
APN Type: default,supl,mms
After going to the default settings, I still can't send MMSes and it's driving me nuts.
Anybody have any ideas?
EDIT: Just noticed there's version 7.1 out. Anybody notice that MMS works between the version I have and this latest stable one?
