Have anybody ever experience auto shutdown on x10? Mine shutdown twice the past week.
once it shutdown while it was in my handbag, next was lagging then blank out.
it's only 5 mths old!
That's weird have you tried running a repair from the says program?

Mine shutdown on me a couple times the other day, but I just assumed it was the cpu low power setting I configured for when my battery was low.

what is a "says program"?
Oops I thought I typed SEUS program

mine did a few times a week.now its shutting down everytime i start an app.or the camera.that does no happen when connected to PC or when it is recharging. PC comp. finds and error when trying to repair it. solution anyone?
Factory resetor full wipe. Install a custom rom. Calibrate your battery. If all fails then you might have a defective battery or chipset.

Hey guys,
I have a very enoiing problem, when i start my X10 up my GSM signal is good, but after not using the phone for like 3 hours (while in the main time just being in sleepmode), I've got no signal at all anymore and have to restart the phone. This problem doesn't happen if I haven't used my phone for like half an hour and i use it again (while in the main time just being in sleepmode). Is this a wrong setting or something like that? because normally my signal is great, except when I haven't used it for a while (like 2 hours or more)

Have any spooky task killer app ?
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
Nope, that isn't the problem. Tested it, but that ain't the problem
I had this and similar other issues. Turned out to be the se backup app. I use titanium so simply removed the stock backup.
Maybe worth a look for you mate. Use titanium to freeze it first to confirm.

Thank you so much, it seems to work. I didnt have a connection before i removed it, after removing it i already had connection again=D

Ok this is strange, your solution worked for 2 days and now the problem is back:s

The only advice I can offer is that I only used to get this when an app, for whatever reason, accessed the sim.
For me it was the se stock backup app.

I lose my signal on gsm but seems that is the firmware (026)

I noticed that my phone goes to flash mode when i just want to charge it, without pressing anything! (when the phone is turned off)
Today i noticed that my phone goes to flashmode too when i charge it(when my phone is turned off) and take my battery out (i forgot to unplug it first when i did that)

Can't really help with your problem, but aren't dev-phone IMEIs starting with 00***? I thought 0123** IMEIs were given out to customers for quite a while now?

Isn't there a hotfix to install to be able to charge while the phone is off?
Look at the OP of Z's beta4 thread.

Hi.
I'm use runkeeper pro to track my walks and such, but with the arc it does not seem to stay on and continue tracking when I turn the screen off.
Are there any program or setting I can change to make the gps on while the screen is off?

I have used RunKeeper with my arc for a few times now. Everything works smoothly.
One thing I did notice is maybe the accuracy of the GPS. The reason why I say that is because I have been running 1.5mi daily through the exact same route for almost 3 months. Before I was using the X10 which shows 1.55mi (+/- 0.01mi) every time I finish running. But after I started using the arc, it shows 1.66mi (+/- 0.01mi). Not sure if arc is more accurate or X10.
Anyone got any ideas for my problems? runkeeper and other programs just updates my location when i turn on the screen...
Have you tried reseting your phone?

Hi. I have a Sony Xperia Arc S and it doesn't turn on. I tried the PC Companion but still I can't open my phone. Please i really need your help.
Is this the first time you are trying to boot your device?

Plug it on the wall charger, and you will have to wait a couple of hours, it happens to sony devices, the phone needs to charge the battery, it's a weird issue.
