+1 for this.
With the official Froyo, supposedly, coming out anytime now I'd love to know how I can backup all my apps.

Did you try rooting via the method here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=906248
yes, but changing zip into apk gives me a parcing error and unzip it give me all files which i have no clue where to put them (i have a mac and see .exe files so rooting through a computer is not an option)...as i said before, I am better in graphics than in this kind of work....any help will be appreciated, in the other topic I only found "yes it is working" Okay, that makes me officially a noob, but anyway....
Is there anyone who has the apk for this??

It's not meant to be an apk that you install onto the phone.
(1) Download the file onto your PC and unzip it.
(2) Enable USB Debugging mode on your phone.
(3) Connect the phone to your PC.
(4) Click on the "SuperOneClick" file in the unzipped folder.
(5) Click on the "Root" button.
(6) Wait until it says that root is successful.
(7) Unplug your phone from the PC and manually reboot it.
(8) Your phone is unrooted!
thanks, I will get a laptop from my work this evening and try.
So (yes I am a noob) should I downloading this file on the phone or on the computer??

You should be downloading it to a PC and running it from there.
Oh, I forgot to add that you need to reboot your phone manually before it is detected to be rooted.
okay;

1. Back-up your apps with Titanium back-up
2. Second install new ROM
3. Again, donwload Titanium back-up in the market
4. Restore your old apps.
I guess this is the easy steps..
turn on compatibility mode if your using cyanogen so you can use stock SE apps

Thanks to xuban for sharing..
Upgrade to Market 2.3.6
Follow this step how to install this 2.3.6 apk only, you dont need .zip.
First copy the apk I ve attached to root of sd.
1. use root explorer mount r/w
2. go to system/apps look for vending.apk
3. move vending apk to root of sd then install
4. if installation succeded go to settings/applications/manage applications you see the market their uninstall update this time it will say uninstall failed, uninstall again it will succeed now.
5. now install market 2.3.6 apk it will succeed
enjoy 2.3.6 market.
Thanks to royskeyz for the Guidance.

Hi, I'm a lazy bastard, and I also rock a number of ROMs. It's such a pain to remember my previous pattern lock if I want to restore a TWRP backup from a different ROM. I found this easy method to get rid of security.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-4/themes/tool-remove-lockscreen-password-pin-t3692411
When you are ready to use it, just restore your ROM backup in TWRP; Flash this Unlock_PIN_PW.zip; When your phone boots up you should have no pesky security problems.
Works good?

You can also just delete all gatekeeper.* and locksettings.* files under /data/system after restoring the backup.
Under 8.X ROMs there is just a locksettings.db file, if I'm right.

Hi, I'm a lazy bastard, and I also rock a number of ROMs. It's such a pain to remember my previous pattern lock if I want to restore a TWRP backup from a different ROM. So I made a flashable zip that automates the process of deleting the five /data/system files associated with security after I restore a ROM.
Please be aware that this may not work if you have encrypted /data. If any brave soul wants to test it, let me know.
So, directions are:
Download Unlock_PIN_PW.zip from here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3gcDbDvV4MkWXRHTUswY3JSYnc
Place it in your /sdcard or otg for safe keeping (you never know when you might need it)
When you are ready to use it, just restore your ROM backup in TWRP; Flash this Unlock_PIN_PW.zip; When your phone boots up you should have no pesky security problems.

Not 'deleting' exactly but this is good because you can restore them easily whenever you want to, which is a lifesaver. No PC required!
