Video Player?

Ok
Dont seem to have a video player and a search of market didnt throw up any (presumably the resolution problem)
Anyone know for any or can point me in the direction of a player for .wmv .mpeg etc

chinese video app found by one of the guys on xda - ive tried it on the tattoo and it works a treat!!!
plays mpegs and wmvs!!!!!

It seems play, but I want capable of fullscreen and zoom-in-out just like TCPMP player of WinMo.

Ye - TPCMP - core player was the best around - its a shame its not available for android - i would pay for an app that good!

If you can find a myplayer or beebplayer apk, yes, although I get messed up video on beebplayer on openfire.

Found Skyfire Replacement

Found a replacement for Skyfire its not free like 27 dollars a year but it does have a free 7 day trial before you have to pay anything. http://netacceler.com/home/home.html

does it play mms streamming ?

I just downloaded it , the pages open in full desktop but no sound on streamming .

This is the exact same browser as Uzard but it just has a different name & its not free.
I didnt see a difference what-so-ever & the sound worked perfectly for me.
Im just saying if you guys want this browser, dont pay money. Just download Uzard , its the exact same =)

can u tell me what is the uzmp player?

I am trying to listen to www.skysports.com/radio while i am griving. i am not interested in the video. But when i open it up with uzard,the normal screen with skysports comes up and it will even say live on the right side of the player but no audioo(((((DAMNN why did skyfire do this to me??

maybe skysport ude flash player 10 , and uzard wont play that , it happens to me trying to watch a tv channel from my country. there are two channels that it wont play for me , I checked the souce and they use flash player 10 .

same problem with USTREAM -

I used Skyfire, then I use UzardWeb w w w. u zard . com/en/down/download . asp , try this.

ive used BBC iPlayer just fine

Catchuptv works fine so i would assume the others should.

do you mean tvcatchup ? which browser are you using ? just tried it and stock wont let me click on a channel wheres Opera doesnt like the Flash version ??

How is pic. quality?

iPlayer quality is great. still trying to figure out this tvcatchup thing tho

iPlayer and m.tvcatchup both work well over WiFi with the stock browser.
Picture quality on iPlayer is great, m.tvcatchup varies from channel to channel.
they both run on HSDPA connection when using my phones hotspot as well,
but need to buffer a lot.

+1 for iPlayer and YouTube, haven't tried anything else.

BBC and ITV work well in browser
The main 4oD webpage is very slow and I can't get it to work. If you google the actual show then go its page it works fine
iPlayer app does not work. there is an ITV app, but it won;t let me download it even thought it says it supports tablets...

I did have a list of search keywords to find all the TV content on Youtube once. But it's gone astray.

maxthon and dolphin broswer both work with itv and chanel 4,

Is there anyway to get BBC and ITV player to work on the San Francisco???

Then no it won't work since I've tried the ARM v6 modded Flash Player and it doesn't work on the iPlayer/ITV Player sites and apps.

Would upgrading to the 2.3 release not help this?

Well, I was running 2.3 when I tried to play videos from iPlayer and ITV Player but they didn't work.

No even the hacked flash apk just crashes.

didnt work for me either

That sucks, what happened to mplayer?

Try subscribing why should we in the UK pay for US customers, know how much the tv licence is here...!!

BBC made them kill the iPlayer streaming and even with old versions of the .apk they seem to have blocked it from accessing their streams.

There's beebplayer.
There's also catchuptv.com

Think you mean m.tvcatchup.com, only does live tv though
beebplayer hasn't worked (for me) for a long time now

read somewhere that bbc iplayer works on gsf 19 thru skyfire

I can confirm that skyfire can play iplayer files from video library I didn't manage to start the live stream video, but radio streams work fine.
I use GSF (b13), but this should work on other roms (there is no need for flash player).
