Samsung is rolling out flash on their Android 2.1 phone, http://www.samsung.com/sg/consumer/...AXSO/index.idx?pagetype=prd_detail&returnurl=
I wonder if it is flash lite or 10.1
Anyway I hope SE decides to put flash into Sept Android 2.1 update.
Flash would definitely be nice to have on the x10. Without flash these days.. Surfing the web isn't the same.
flash player 10.1 will only be avaliable in 2.2 , 2.1 s too slow to run full flash support , this is flash light not flash player
If you look at the full specs under platform it says:
Browser Android Browser (with Flash Lite 3.1)
Hey, my friend works at Rogers and he said a SE rep came in and spoke about 2.1 and flash.
The SE Rep said that the X10 2.1 update will include some 2.2 features such as flash support. I'm not sure if this is Flash Light or whatnot. Again this is just what my friend at Rogers told me.
Cheers

I belive that when I get 2.1
SkyFire
Not 10.1 but using Skyfire browser on x10 would provide full flash support.
whats the difference between flash lite and flash 10.1?

No, it doesn't. Skyfire just loads Flash Videos (which is only a fraction of what Flash is used for on the web) and converts them into video files the phone can handle.

Flash Lite is what the name says it is. A "light" version of Flash that can load simple flash animations (such as advertisements). Flash 10.1 is full Flash, with support for animations, games, and video.
Hello new to the forum here. Just had a question if it is just me or what. Updated my vibrant via ODIN from the stock software. Before the J16 update my media player was playing ok. But after the J16 update when i try to play songs, the phone just randomly reboots when i am halfway through the song. Has anyone had this issue? And will be glad if anyone has a fix. My vibrant is rooted and OCLF installed. Thanks for the help and info.

Hey guys,
Yesterday I upgraded my Galaxy S2 to the KG1 2.3.4, and today I wanted to stream a flash mp3 like I used to on 2.3.3, and it says I need to download the latest version of flash.
I got version 10.3 of Adobe Flash and reboot the phone and still nothing.
Thanks,
Peter

that happened to me 2 weeks ago, I just uninstalled/reinstalled flash player, still working until today.
same problem with me, reinstaled the app and it is working, but i still have one problem, if i wach somtehing thru browser i have no sound during that.
Well I actually can't uninstall Adobe Flash Player, only the 10.3 update.
Do you think I can remove the .apk and then download it from the market again?
Has anyone gotten a message that says an Adobe Flash Player upgrade is required when attempting to play a video on the A7?? If so, did you upgrade? My unit sometime gives me that message when Im trying to play a video while on Facebook. I go to the site to download the upgrade, but I don't want to chance messing up my flash functions totally! If anyone has upgraded to the latest version (10.3.183.11) please let me know how it worked out for you...thanx!

I just bought a refurbed A7 yesterday and have updated flash player thru the market and everything works fine. Not sure if the market update is the same as the one on their site but I would assume so. If you update thru market you can always uninstall updates if it messes something up.
