I have M-Amine ROM from 4 months, I'm very satisfied, but GPS signal is'nt so good, fix is very slow (2 minutes or more) then fixed only 4-5 satellites. Then I tried to install many radio ROMS, but unsuccessfull. For istance, with 1.64.08.21 GPS signal is very good, fast fix and 8 satellites fixed, but phone is mute.
I remember that first time I flashed WWE ROMS, my device worked only with Murata Radio ROM. Then i suppose that the problem is in Radio hardware on my device, but I'm not sure of this.
Can someone help me to solve this problem?

Idem with 1.64.08.21 .. GPS OK .. Phone
Install/Flash Polaris_Radio_1.64.06.04 ..
my phone signal in now OK with Bepe 0.67
only newer roms work with newer radio.
if you want the benefits of newer radio (like faster GPS fix) then flash a newer rom.
check in the rom threads to see which radio is recommended for which roms.

Yes, need to find ROM builds that working well with 1.64.06.04. What build is Bepe 0.67?
Hi, I'm running Radio 2.06.51.27 with the stock WWE 1.66 ROM in the UK.
Would I be OK flashing a .50 radio, e.g. 2.07.50.27? If so, do you think I'd notice any benefit at all? Or is there some other radio that's better? (I live near London, and use an unbranded Vodafone HD2.)
Many thanks,
David
Hey
Yes you can flash a .50 radio, id recommend testing a few of the later radios 2.10, 2.11 & 2.12 (although 2.07 may work best for you), the most noticeable benefits are better battery life, faster gps lock & clearer call quality. the only thing is you will need to try for yourself as radio performance really does vary from person to person (depending on your location & rom).
i prev had the best performance with 2.12.50, however after switching roms i get the best from 2.11.50.26 so its a trail & error thing!
Thanks
Thanks for the advice. I've just flashed 2.07.50.27 and will test it out. If there's no improvement I'll try one of the radios you recommended.
Much appreciated,
David

Radio ROM
Living in Germany I use a non branded HD2 with custom ROM. Upgrading to a 2.12.50.XX radio resulted in battery drain issues every time I tried (tried 3times with different ROMS). Presently I`m using 2.10.50.28_2 which gives great data and call performance. Using 2.06 for a long time I always had issues with Radio dropping the data connection. Flashing the 2.10.50.28_2 ROM fixed the issue.
hi, i am also running Radio 2.06.51.27 with the stock WWE 1.66 ROM, just want to know whether flashing a radio is similar to rom flashing. will the radio flashing delete all the cabs installed on my phone? i have never done that nor rom flashing, kind of scared to brick my phone.
cheers

Do not fear
Nothing to fear. Just make sure HSPL 2 is installed on your storage card, then watch the following video. You won't lose your cabs, only the radio is updated, not the whole ROM. I just did it, and was anxious like you, but it updated fine. I'll wait to see the results.

I have a blackstone with dead wifi. I wonder if there is a solution to solve this problem?
Note:
- My wifi is dead without flashing a new rom or radio.
- I have flashed with radio radio version 1.17.25.09 and no chance.
- I have flash Energy rom and radio 1.14.25.24 also no chance.
- I have flash Original rom Blackstone_HTC_FRA_1.14.406.3 with no chance.
I would ask experts if this a software problem or hardware problem ?
Try Task 29 it can help
Hello Every1!
I just baught a T-Mobile HTC HD2 for my brother .. he HATED WM 6.5 and wants Android so bad!
Anw i tried putting Android MdeeJay Froyo Clean 2.4 on it but SOD keeps on happening when i put the phone to sleep!
I Just get a dark light and thats it so i have to remove the battery and start all over again!
I Searched xda and found out its caused by the old Radio Version.
Now i need to upgrade my Radio Verision.
Can it be fixed without Flashing or Changing Radio?
And If i update to the latest T-Mobile HD2 ROM will it Update my Radio to more then 2.12 and from that Stop SOD from happening ?
will the Stock HD2 ROM cause any problems?
+ .. Is it ok to Flash a Radio to 2.15 even if the ROM is old?
Im sorry for those many questions but im a bit lost as you can see!!
10x alot anyway
I am not a professional myself, but I solved my SOD by flashing to 2.15.50. Previously I was using 2.10 myself and at one point I kept getting SOD everytime I lock my phone and hence I flashed it to 2.15. It works well now
I am not sure whether Radio is affected by ROM (or stock ROM in your case), but if you wish, you can try this Dutty Family ROM which I am using. Since you are going to flash Radio, why not flash a WinMo ROM altogether XD
hello, am on the Pdaimatejam wp7.5 mango rom. i was on radio 2.15 but because of the battery issue i flashed back to radio 2.12 .Everything seems to work perfectly but it seems my wifi has troubles. it cant find any wireless network in range. i even tried by creating an ad-hoc network of my pc but yet still iit couldnt find the network.
And also the Htc sonud enhacer does seem to work at all. none of the effects work. Can someone help me.???
Sound Enhancer does not work on mango yet.
I found that if I flash back to radio 2.12 after I have Mango, I have issues with battery drain and other settings. So I started from scratch...flash Radio 2.12, flash WM ROM, then flash Mango, everything works like a charm afterwards
thanks buddy. Am gonna do the same...
