Cutting Ringtone...anoying problem

Hiya All,
While preparing ringtones from regular mp3 songs and saving them in either mp3 or wma format, I've notived that jam is constantly vibrating during the entire song.
Is there any way that it will vibrate only during certain sounds like bass or remove the vibrate at all from the mp3 song ?

The vibrate option is in your sounds and notification-settings, it has nothing to do with your ringtone, and cannot be set to vibrate in any other way, you can turn it on and off that's it. If you want more control, I suggest you try PowerMax PhoneAlarm, but still only on/off though...

First, many thanks for your reply. I already know about the option to enable or disable the vibrate via phone option.
Second, if I'm not mistaken than in the ringtones that comes with the device the vibrate is only during certain tones. How this can be achived ?

SMS Sound problem

Hello people,
I have a bit of a problem with my sms sound on my HD. I dont get any sound notifications when a new SMS comes. I have enable sound, under settings, sound and notifications i have checked Play Sound and selected a builtin one. Vibration is off. Any ideas of what maybe the problem?

ck Settings>Sounds&Notifications>Sounds and see if the Notifications box is ck'd or unck'd.

same situation here. settings cant change. very strange. i change option, but after close dialg windows, and reopen it, nothing change

i have exactly the opposite problem, i want to disable the SENT notification sound!

I confirm the problem about changing ring tones about call, sms etc ... very very strange ! I open dialg window, change ring tone from the list, but it cannot be played or assigned. I have not install odd 3rd party apps. except offcial HTC fix from here

Check once again step by step Your settings - it helped in my case - they often weirdly switching off for no good reason...

I have the same problem. it used to work, but now no sound, the vibration still happens though!!! settings look ok, and soft reset does not help.
Any ideas?

Hey guys,
as it turned out the Ring sound level is only for the ringing tone. I had ring level on maximun while system level was off. I raised the system volume and the sms sound was back on. I dont know if this applies to the rest of you but give it a shot. Thanks for your replies.

Alarm Clock

Okay, I'll try not to sound completely hopeless in this question. I've had this phone for around two months, and have only recently added an alarm to wake me up. I noticed that on 6.1, the choices for alarm sounds are horrible, and few. Is there anyways to add an mp3 or any of the other sounds that came with 6.1, and show up in the ringtone section? Thank you for your time.

You can throw all your favourite mp3 ringtones in :
File Explorer -> My Device -> My Documents -> My Ringtones
It should show up.

[Q] ringtone problem mute

sometimes when my phone rings i cant hear the ringtones only vibration i check this and the call volume is high i try to move the ringtone from sd to storage and the same problem.
i have noticed that my phone does that when it is turned over but i have disable the option from motions - turn over - mute,pause.
what can i do? please help me i have the phone 2 weeks and i update to 4.3 thnx u

Knowing the volume is high, what u can do is:
- Go to Apps, Settings, My device, Sound, Ringtones and click there
- Here u can add the ringtones u wish coz u have a button there called "Add"
- Add the tone u wish being in your SD Card or External Card and select it
- Try again to receive one call
- Click THANKS button if I could help ya

i have already custom ringtone and i put it like you say i try 3 deference ringtones Example in 10 calls 1 call is silent only vibrate and the other 9 calls is good high sound of my ringtone i dont understand it

My Oneplus changes my choice of tone and sound

Hi everyone....
I have Android 11. In Settings-Sound and vibration-Ringtone SMS vibration and in Default notification sound.
I change both sections by putting the tone or sound that I like the most but curiously, whenever I connect the mobile to the bluetooth of my car, it changes these two tones of both sections and always puts the same .... "flyer". This tone is in the folder that belongs to the alarm sounds on the clock (CURIOUS, CURIOUS !!).
I have tried to modify everything, to change for other tones, to reset Fabirca twice, to clear cache for recovery. None of these things have worked for me.
Anyone who has (which I doubt) or has gone through a similar story with their terminal ?. Say that Android 10 did not happen to me.
