i have just upgraded from my omnia i900 to the B7610. Ive noticed theres no auto rotate unless i pull the keyboard out? On my i900 it just rotated when you turned the phone.
Also theres no torch facility like the i900 or is it i just cannot find it?

You need to install an app like gyrator or changescreen or orientation notify.
Idem for the Torch, you need an application, like O2Torch (or directly go to O2Compass).

Hi !! 24 hours HD owner and I adore it. Actually I found a cool application called Gyrator2 , it switches to landscape and rotate screen depending on how you hold the device ( like iphone ). Check it : http://gyrator.brins0.net/?page=downloads

I have tried gsen.
At the moment im am using Dutty's 2.1 Extreme ROM and far as i know manilla should work in lanscape too.
Rotating Manilla seems to be disabled in gsen and i read that i need to add some registry keys in HKCU\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\.
I dont really understand how that keys need to look like to make it work. Does anyone else had success?

When I read the pictures in Album, the pictures only rotate to the right size (portrait or landscape) for 3 seconds, then it will changed back to portrait. Anyone has the same problem? Or are there any expert can save this issue? Many thanks...
are you using a rotation app like gyrator, gsen, or any other ones?
it seems that you are using both, the builtin rotation features and in addition another one like gyrator or changescreen.
you have exclude album from the rotation applications or uninstall your rotation software

Did you install HD Tweak?
Open HD Tweak and change the setting:
GSensor-> Activation -> Disabled
It works for me.

i was wondering anyone could help me. when i first got my htc HD, the messaging keyboard rotate automatic. somehow when i reinstall the original-rom due for some reason, the auto rotate was gone. anyone could help me get back the original setting?
Did you buy the phone new? As far as I know, the official HTC ROM never had screen rotation in it for the keyboard.
There are loads of different programmes you can install to allow you to rotate the keyboard:
Gyrator
Flipit
to name but two...
no rotation for stock !
weird or maybe my memory was too bad. anyway i have found a screen rotating soft which was quite good compare to the rest i have tried.

its somewhere on the forum. deleted the icon using explorer from startmenu because this software enable auto startup. now it looks so original.
how ever found it slightly lag on TF3D.

Are you trying to rotate device and use landscape?
I tried to rotate the device, what do you mean landscape? Is any application?

You can hold device in your hand in either portrait or landscape, i.e. vertically or horizontally
Depending on what rom you are using landscape mode may not be available for TF3D as its only available on manila 2.0+
You can use free apps to rotate screen including gyrator, changescreen, flipit. Quick search in apps/themes forum should find them
Alternatively flash a later rom which has landscape functionality built in
Does anyone know of the registry hack or settings that would make HD2 be able to turn around the screen 4-ways (something like iPad)?
There's an application call ChangeScreen. Check that out.
gyrator2 allows this also
I got this 4 way gsensor rotation from artemis cooked rom with no app installed
I will try both... ChangeScreen seems more inviting as it does not show in running programs list...
