Hi,
I just gave my old X10 to my uncle but his vision is quite weak.
Is there any way I can increase the font size ?
Rooting, flashing whatever it takes to make it bigger ..
Thanks
You can magnify the screen with the LCD Density Changer. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=765639
You have to be root.

I really like the way my system looks with a higher density setting.
Unfortunately some things look better bigger or just don't look good at all / don't work at all in lower density settings.
Is there a way to size down specific UI elements in specific the statusbar?
Hi, someone know how change font size in system? maybe without apps
thanks
Have you try the LCD Density from the market?

changing font doesnt mean changin the density also
i kinda want the option too, using density reducing ur font too, but everything else also
it would be nice to reduce the font only since when i'm using another font, its too big for the icon app and ended up using 2 lines which is weird
My Xperia Arc screen resolution had changed and both screen and icons are smaller in size. Does anybody know how to restore the original size of the icons and the full screen size

How did it change in the first place? Sounds like you have changed your density? Stock density is 240...

I think as a result of a certain application download. Could you please elaborate more how i can adjust the density that u refered to.
Search market for "LCD Density" - I use one of the paid versions... Open it and inside you can change the value... As said before, stock value is 240...

Or you can just change it right in the build.prop why would you pay an app to do that?

I recently put Android on my dad's hd2 and he is loving it. The only issue is that he is having a hard time seeing some of the text and icons. Anyone know of a way to sacrifice some screen real estate for easier readability? Thanks

Try LCD Density Changer from Marketplace.
you can edit build.prop and change the lcd desity value, default is 240
Could you guys recommend me fonts that are narrower than stock fonts? I basically want to fit more text per line without reducing the font size to ridiculously small size.
