All tools i used to identify pocessor speed says that on my Loe CPU clocked at 512 MHz.
Is there any proof of 1GHz ?
Most such tools need to specifically support a CPU to give you a reading. Its probable that none of them support snapdragon. It could also be giving you a reading based on power saving throttling.

is it necessary to check and confirm it?? An experienced user will feel the difference right away! HD2 is so speedy and instant, it tells everything!

Hello!
I really dont know whats normal for a X8 in Quadrant but my X8 are sometimes lying around 682 but I've also been on 720-750 a couple of times. How can those numbers be so different?
Phone info:
Used since: 2010-12-24
ROM: Rachts CM7 Rc4 2.3.3 (Latest update)
CPU: Overclocked to 710 MHz
I can't post my question in the Development thread about overclocking because I don't have 10 posts but I've now overclocked it just to 710 (Normal with that "program") but how can i try to go up to 730 Mhz now?
Thanks
RoseN
Added some more info to first post...
The number show you the speed of your phone the time you test is. This means that if the next time you make the test your phone search for network or you play with your screen or you download something or you have many programmes running then the result of your speed will be lower.
What quadrant does is called benchmarking. Basically, it measures your phones performance in several aspects and at the end you could compare it to some of the big guns in android.
It analyses the CPU, 2D and 3D performance, and memory among others. The higher you score, the better our phone's performance has been rated.
Some of the things that affect your rating are: the number of apps that are running, overclock or clocking of CPU, and available memory.
You phone could misbehave from time to time so the results may vary...
Hello Guys what do you think about the new Version of WP ...
Do you think it is Possible on our HD² ?
Mod Edit: Edited post to something readable...
OMG you just kill my eyes, who can this be possible
Hello Guys what do you think about my awesome choice of colour
do you think you will be able to see ever again!!
just read an article. confirmed that almost all if not, every single phone running WP7 will not be able to run WP8. WP7 users will get the 7.8 update. Adding some of the features of 8 to us 7 users.

We all know by now that our lovely HD2 is either a wp7 or wp8 phone and not even an android phone yet we have seen it rock the mobile world just fine. I really hope the developer who have given my HD2 a very happy and long life will still push to the edge to see if there is any chance of getting wp8 on HD2.
Thank you and hoping for the best
after some research and some articles i have read today.
there's no chance to run WP8 on HD2. maybe we can get 7.8
as blackinaction said, the same was claimed for WP7 and we do have it now on our HD2. No one can be sure that we will not have WP8 also.
We'll see what cotulla say about wp8 on HD2 when first rom would be released.
btw MAGLDR 2.0 will be released soon.
i hope the HD2 sees the light of WP8. I hope there are more apps and everything.
I wouldn't hold my breath on further development on the HD2 beyond 7.8. Besides a handful of cooks development has come to a halt.
I think that WP8 will be available for our HD2 !! I think really !

Long live HD2, Windows Phone 8 will be here, let's pray
of course GOD cotulla will bring WP8 to HD2.:good:
Must...have!
will release today
Hardware limitations is the only factor that would prevent us from having wp8 on the hd2 but the chefs never cease to amaze me..
Long live the hd2 and prosper!:highfive:

Yes, that was what I thought. Imagine if HD2 could only be stuck in the jurassic WM 6.5 with Sense with all the hardware it has? Wow...
I put WM 8773 ROM in my HD2 (came out from 1,5years into WM6.5) and wow... It's simply incredible.
I think HD2 does have hardware to support WP8... Maybe not for some games, but in general, I'm pretty sure.
Hoping for the best!

I agree
I heard that HTC will release 3 cell phones for WP8
HTC Rio
RAM : 512 MB
CPU: 1 or 2 cores Qualcomm
Display: WVGA 400 x 800
4 inch
14.4Mbps HSPA
HTC Accord
RAM: 1024 MB
CPU: 2 cores Qualcomm S4 Plus
Camera : 8 MP - 1080p video ..ـــ 30fps
Display: 720p - Super LCD 2
4.3 inch
42Mbps HSPA+
NFC Support
HTC Zenith
RAM: 2048 MB
CPU : Quad Core Qualcomm
Camera : 12 MP - 1080p video ..more than ـــ 40 fps
Display: 720p - Super LCD 2
4.7 inch
42Mbps HSPA+
NFC Support
So If you compare HD2 with these 3 phones, we can understand that HD2 is equal HTC RIO
the only problem I think, is DRIVERS.
of cotulla or other cookers can solve the driver issue, we will have WP8 on our HD2 as the first people.

Interesting... But I wonder the video-card of HD2, if it'll still be able to run "60 fps" interface and the games. And HD2 (at least mine) only shows 372mb RAM, added to the high-heat, which means I guess that the phone is working hard a lot to keep the OS stable and smooth with all the features.
Well, this is a strong cellphone, I hope it can run also WP8 smoothly and so do we all.

I tested WP7.5 and also Android on my HD2
in my idea, heat is significantly more when I am running Android.
and HD2 has 576 MB of ram.
And finally we have to wait for the future news.....
Hi,
Just got new android headunit, this one https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000808902548.html model T3-CP. advertised as 4-core ALL WINER T3 1.5GHz Cortex A7. But cpu-z says that processor is 1.2Ghz and actually runs on 1.0 Ghz. Unit works mainly as adverticed and expected, just a little bit slow but just wondering is there way to change cpu speed to 1.2Ghz which should be actual cpu speed? Also wondering what is actual os version on headunit? Kernel 4.9.118 says it is Android 9.0 but api level 27 says it's 8.1? Also does anyone know how to find developer options on those Prelingcar headunits? Far as i know it should be quite popular brand? Thanks
If you read the Aliexpress description carefully, it says it is a Android 8.1 with 1 GB RAM. The kernel version cannot be used to derive the Android version.
Yes, the Android Settings version information is faking to be Android 10 and 2 GB RAM. Never trust such a screen on these Chinese HUs.
CPU-Z is using the kernel interfaces to find out max CPU frequency and current frequencies of the 4 cores. Note that the kernel adjusts core frequencies on the fly, dependant on the CPU load. So you will not see 1.2 GHz often and should see lower frequency typically.
Actually device has 2gb ram, atleast displayed by cpu-z. Cheaper model T3 has 1gb, but this is T3-CP. Yes i know that unit do not have android 10 even it says so, but just wondering what version it actually has.
Hi all, I have an Android TV c825 TCL. The latest firmware uses 'schedutil' rather than 'ondemand'. If I run AIDA64 on the 'ondemand' version it shows a clock range of 800 to 1300 and the current cpu is 1000 Mhz. With the schedutil AIDA64 report the same clock range but the current Mhz is 1300.
The TV feels faster in the GUI with the latest firmware, but I'm suspicious the CPUs are running at maximum 100% of the time.
Does anyone know the facts of what is likely happening? Or how to check another way what the Mhz is? I'm concerned if it's running max cpu all the time.
Thank you.
can you write me your review of that tv? its on sale in my country and I'm tin temptation to buy it
