Taking Screenshots?

Is there anyway to take screenshots of whatever is currently showing on your X10 screen like iphone users can? This would be a nice feature. I tried searching the forums here to see but didn't find anything to suggest that you can. Also on ESATO forums you can take shots while connected to your pc but thats not exactly the handiest way. Anyone have a clue if this is possible on our phones?
The only way to take a screenshot in a non rooted Android device is using the Android debugger on a PC connected via USB to the device.

Nevermind, I sorted it out by writing a little shellscript using OpenVPN.

Did you ask Mr. Google before asking here? If you did then you would've seen this: http://code.google.com/p/azilink/
Lazy me... Shame on me... Thanx!

Only downside with azilink is that everyone assumes that you're using it with Ubuntu and either a Nexus One or a Galaxy. For us X10 guys on Arch linux it took some marginal hackage.
I have tried azilink, but it need some modules installed, and im a bit weary as a newb to do this.
Is there any other easy solutions with a rooted x10 and a usb tether to a linux pc? Scripts / apps or whatever? Ive done a lot of googleing, azilink seems to be the most popular for linux. Ive read someone who had the x10 with this built in, and by turning this on, the network manager will auto connect on the user pc end.

Remote Control

Hi,
Firstly I'd like to say hello to all as I am a new to the Motorola Xoom.
My question is that I have a htc desire mobile and wish to control my Xoom device with it while the xoom is connected to the tv.
Does anyone know if this is possible?
Your help would be much appreciated.

I have not come across anything to do this yet but I was considering writing something based on the Bluetooth chat code in the API to do this. Its not a priority at the moment because I have several other projects on the go :S
I may look deeper into it once my xoom arrives, I think it will be useful. Need to see if I can hook some global media controls somehow.

There is a VNC server in the market place for Android, but it currently does not work on the Xoom. I am waiting for an update to it for the same reason.
Thanks for the info, hopefully something gets released soon as im sure linking the android mobile device to android tablets would be used widely.

Video: How to use Nexus S to send files using NFC, just tap phones together to send!

Hi Nexus S owners,
Here's a video tutorial that describes how to send files and apps using NFC, this is the most easy way to send files between phones, all you need to to is just simply tap twp phones together.
The app we used to do this job is an amazing one called File Expert ( https://market.android.com/details?id=xcxin.filexpert ) This is the first app on the market that supports transfer files using NFC.
For someone may ask how File Expert does this job. OK, let's under the hood, technically speaking, File Expert will use NFC to auto-configure a Bluetooth connection between phones. Because all configuration data is sent by NFC, so there's NO device searching and pairing process required!!
Please see video here:
Thank you
Now I just need to find someone else with a Nexus S

I know that feeling. I haven't seen one Nexus S ever besides mine.
Hell, I've never ever seen a Nexus One outside of the Internet.
