What in Rom Manager are we looking for?
Why is this in the "Developer" Section?
This is more of a "General" post/thread.

There are a few themes (haven't tried them) from Onix Concepts and more build.prop tweaks.
And wouldn't this be in dev as you have to be rooted and you are modifying system files (developing...)?

No... in that case... that means that themes would have to be in the dev section too.. right??
I see this post as a "Hey check this out" which is more general.
But I just really wanted to know what to look for in the Rom Manager. I've seen the build.prop tweaks there. I will have to look at Onix themes
I Installed the red one there I did not like the red ring around the black task bar. I did not try the other do to I love the color black and red together and I had my phone themed perfect before then. went back to my old theme.
Are they for 2.2 only

Hey everybody, got some wallpapers, ringtones, and a boot animation from the Motorola Atrix 4G. Enjoy!
I think the boot animation should work on most devices. I tested it out on my Samsung Captivate. I promise it's more impressive on the phone than in my video below. My camera doesn't capture dark colors well.

Did you try running any of the apps?
That MediaCenter.apk and OlympusCamera.apk look tempting... heh
btw the mediafire link is already down... the others are good for now though
edit: oh yeah, that's android 2.2 right? That looks like it can be used to make a really nice theme indeed...

Nope. They will not work. I'll see if I can make one for CM6. Btw, does anyone use CM6 now, since development has stopped?
I tried installing the camera app, but it didn't install. The ROM's even got a fingerprint sensor app.

Yep I'm still on CM6.
I may try froyomod again though.
I've been keeping up with the CM7 thread and I just don't want to deal with all the extra hassles with minimal benefit.
btw I saw in another thread that you need the framework-res.apk for the png's. Is the original OK? If so, see attatchment

@ Zeppelinrox,
If you can help me test out a honeycomb theme for CM6, pm me. I already have a friend helping me out, but i would like to have a few more try out.
i like your power off animation...
Modified Attrix bootanimation
Here is a modified version of the bootanimation without the ATT specific stuff for milestone/droid. Thanks to Kenneth for the original version.
just love the stock wallpaper (speed)
I've download an amazing set of icons by Raadius.
Here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=953449
But i have no idea how to install them to MIUI, previously when i was in CM7 it was relatively easy. Any ideas? Are there any tools which could be of help.
Yes. The tools can be found in the Q&A thread.

I can't be sure, but it looks to me like he just c/p part of the OP in TPS thread and forgot to change that up. I would just use the one jcase posted until he confirms/clears that up.
Why does it say you must upgrade radio to flash v1.4 when this is just v1.0?
I think he forgot to remove it from the perfect storm 1.4

Yeah. Same instructions as before but just using this rom.
Gingavitis?
Sent from my ADR6400L using XDA App
That's the right radio. You can flash that or the one jcase pasted via hboot. Their the same.
Is it just me or does Titanium Backup not work at all for Gingeritis?
is there anything different on this rom that would justify flashing over jcase or dhemke17's rom?
Things are different. Some apps are added to use space in system that could have been downloaded from market, and a changelog will be posted later (after you see for yourself) lol. I'm sure it has some good edits, but in the space race it wasn't about the ship, it was who made it to the moon.
Is there a way to fix The camera or do we need the source code?

i know with the GB roms coming out and the Camera being an issue but is skype even working ? would like to try this but i skype with the fiance alot now that shes in japan for work ( 4 months ).
Titanium works fine. I optimized every apk ported Rosie settings bunch of little edits. 100% batt and smooth charging 5 column app drawer. Took out recent apps Bunch of other things.
As the title states just woundering if anyone has any system mods for the flexstriker rom or know of any? What I really looking for is jetstream system buttons like back/home/recent ones
I like his roms look but HATE stock honeycomb buttons..
Please post anything else if you have it for other users
Thanks in advanced guys!

"RE-FLEXxx-buttons-no%-STOCK" mod [09/21/2012]...
I won't take much credit for this task bar mod. This is just a combination of the two mods found in civato's rom thread: "RE-FLEXxx-button-Stock.zip" + “RE-FLEXxx-STOCK-A700-LAYOUT.zip". Source here.
Essentially, it's for those looking for stock ICS battery (no %) and buttons (back, home, menu, etc...). See screenshot below.
Get it here.

Hmm, made me laugh, copy/paste isn't that hard.
But feel free to make mods , so you know there is a default A700 button mod , so not the stock ICS ones.
If someone is interested I made a little modding guide in dev section , use search for it.
And there are many guides here on xda.

I used the guide you made as a reference - civato's "Beginners modding guide".
However, to produce the posted mod above, I used the existing mods over at your ROM thread instead of the ZIP files attached in your guide thread. Once you know the basics, and mind your sources, for the most part, it really is just "cut and paste".

Dont know whether I should put this here or in general.....
Anyways, I do have a laptop now. I can make mods etc, but I do not know how. What is the best way to make soft-mods?
What devs allow softmods?
What do people want in a softmod?
Any suggestions would be welcome!
Thanks for your Offer.
I recommend you to make a Froyo Soft-Mod, cause we've a lot of GB CM7 on this forums, will be great to see more Froyo's ROM updated.
Take (with his permission) Miroslav's Utopia to start.

Well you can always edit png's in framework. You can use uot kitchen, dsixda kitchen, xultimate.
Init.d can be tweaked
If you want a complete ROM build you can try aosp froyo. You might use pcfighter / zice kernel .....
Sent from my GT540 using xda premium
Aosp froyo with notification bar togles, init.d script and ginger or some other theme would by nice.
When i created my soft-mod i didn't use a computer.
U don;t really need a computer to create a mod.
U just need root explorer. unless u want to create it into a recovery zip
Yes

Hi.
I want start to make Rom .
Where should I start *?
Sent from my HTC Explorer A310e using xda app-developers app
Start by making soft-mods. Get a Rom flash it on your phone, dont add any personal stuff like contacts yet. Put in some nice apps themes tweaks and mods and after that use CWM to back it up and it "should" be ready to share... well at least that is somewhere to start from.
Edit: For those planning to make 4.0 softmods maybe you can also see this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1680328 i know its from the SGSII but i guess the way to do things is similar. (just dont use the flashable thing from the mediafire link!)
