Where can I find radio 2.05? - Droid Incredible General

I've been searching the development forum but I have no idea where to find the zip file for radio 2.05. Can someone please point me in the right direction? Also, can I flash it over SkyRaider with no problem? I'm currently on a 1x radio.

Link is in adrynalyne's thread in the dev section titled [radio] The official radio thread.

You're going to have to start providing more information if you want help.
I added contents to your post from another post that you were asking help on.
Since they are both related I should be merging them however in this case I'll make an exception because it will increase the odds of you getting the help that you need. I only ask that once you get your ROM flashed report both of your posts so that I can come back and close/delete them. Or at least edit your titles with [SOLVED] so it doesn't attract any unnecessary/unrelated traffic and posts.
Good luck

[Q] question about radio being too new to use gfree

reading the MT4G dev thread here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=834225&page=168
and poster bam0027 says
"So, because you have radio software more recent than 26.03.xx.xx .... you're in the same boat as I was" (cant root since radio too new)
poster banburen's radio was posted as
"baseband version 12.28b.69.140eU_26.03.02.26_m"
the guide posted where newer radio being a problem for gfree was
http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/index.php?title=HTC_Vision#Rooting_the_G2
where it states
"gfree is known not to work for radio firmwares with higher versions than 26.03.02.xx"
based on this, banburen's radio above should be ok, no? 26.03.02.26_M is not newer than 26.03.02.xx
? (my ponit is - i have the same radio but an older string before it, and i'm thinking of rooting) mine is baseband 12.28b.60.140eU_26.03.02.26_M
PS- i cant post in dev yet so that's why im regurgitating this here...
I dont have a good answer for you, but you did post in the correct section.
maybe the original guys might have a better idea. thanks for reviewing anyway.

[Q] Which radio for mexdroidmod?

Hey... I'm getting ready to flash the meXdroidmod Ghost Chili AIO rom. I know it is a 2.3.5 based ROM. Does anyone know if I needed to update my radio? My MT4G is Tmous on stock 2.2.1... Rooted & S-off of course.I really appreciate any input.
Try to flash any Gingerbread based radio (use 2.19.531.1 RUU)
Refer this post it gives you all the available radio & the procedure.

you really don't need to flash a new radio with the ROM. Some people just like having the option of being able to flash ones that have little tweaks to help them out in problematic areas. The most honest answer one can give you is flash the various radios. Watch your signal meter and battery gauge to see which one helps you out the most.
Thabks for the advice
Cool... Thanks. I'll flash the ROM & see how it goes. Your advice is greatly appreciated.
Always remember to check for the most suitable radio before flashing.
It's not really necessary to flash a new radio with the Rom.
It depends only on your requirements.
