Install apk files on each build

Every time that I flash a new NAND build (almost every day), I find myself at list one hour seating and installing all the apk files on my sd card.
Is there a way to install all the files on the first boot ? to save them on one folder and on the first boot android will install all of them ?
I know that in SD card builds it's possible.
Please advice.
No, that's not possible. It was a feature of SD builds only.
Why not use Titanium Backup to backup all your apps and data, and the restore them all with just 1 click (if paid - lots of clicks if not!)
Or keep your apps on a rom with ext partition support.
Backup in nandroid, wipe, install new rom, reboot cwm, restore backup where you can choose, select SD ext part.
Reboot, enjoy not having to install all your apk files

maybe you have used a rom without root permission. make sure that your rom supports app2sd. Secondly partition your sd card with the help of gparted livecd or you can use the AD recovery's build-in tools to partition your sd card. then flash a rom supporting app2sd. here cm7 recommded, the extra space will be recognized automatically. if you use miui rom, pls make sure that your partition format is ext3. after flashing miui, open terminal-1.su-2.a2sd reinstall-3.reboot automatically-4.open terminal again-5.su-6.a2sd zipalign-7.a2sd cachesd-8.reboot automatically-9.just install whatever you want.

i don't understand something...
Yes.. it's a based MIUI ROM instaled
I can't use the terminal... i haven't permissions... read my first message...
"after flashing miui" - what do you recommand?
does it the miui rom you are using support app2sd ? and you haven't downloaded app2sd+ from market, if so id get a rom that supports app2sd, then id recommend downloading THIS to fully format your sd card, and would also recommend using THIS to partition your sd card Ext3/4 depending on rom...

This makes me believe that App2sd+ is working, how else is there only 22 mb free? What is the partition size you made?
Things you can do:
Clear Cache of apps
Clear the downloadfile-#.apk in /Cache/ (you need a root explorer to do this)
Backup apps, delete apps, restore apps.
Another thing to do is to start from scratch, reflash your rom, using a backup program to backup your apps. Completly clear caches, and wipe sd card.
DOING THIS WILL WIPE YOUR PHONE AND LOSE ALL SETTINGS
Rommanager is only available for cLK, make sure you have cLK, or phone will boot-loop.

Installin a larger ROM help plz... :o/

Im kinda new to this but i have been reading & trying for a few days before asking for help but i feel i am stuck now.
I have gone through the process & installed a small rom with clockworkmod using a 150mb partition & it went ok.
Now i want to install a larger rom eg. pyramid_HTC_WWE_1.35.401.1_v1.5_EU.zip (338mb) using clockworkmod & this is where i have the problem, i have followed the steps but when installing the rom it freezes just under halfway install.
Using bootloader I have now used Task29 for a clean install, then installed MAGLDR113, using MAGLDR i used option 5 (USB flasher) & installed the unzipped () to make a partition for the larger rom.
After reboot i went to magldr option 8.AD Recovery & loaded clockworkmod, advanced then partition SD card, chose EXT size=1024, swap size=0M then rebooty.
Now am i supposed to see 4 partitionson my SD card because i cant?
one page i read that i should now transfer my ROM.zip to my Sd card, & i also read on another page that i should go to "mounts & storage" & chose "format sd-ext" I have tried both ways!
With the rom.zip on my card, i chose the "install zip from sdcard" option etc, it installs to just under half way then just stays there for ages, how long should this take for a 338mb zip file?
So i giveup, battery out & try it with a smaller zip (hyperdroid-cm7) 69mb zip & it installs ok, so where am i goin wrong??
Q1, after partitioning the SD card am i supposed to see 4 partitions on the card? because i dont, maybe i should partition it on my pc, do i just divide it into 4 partitions & name then ext, ext1, ext2, ext3? or is there a guide for doin it on ur pc?
Q2.can anyone see where else i might be going wrong?
I feel i am just doin the same thing over & over so thanks for any help you can give.
Something strange i have noticed that if i use the HD2 toolkit to try & create a 400mb partition i get an error sayin something about not enough space, i have to use a seperate Recovery_400M.zip that i downloaded from the NFEUMAN pages?
first of all your sd card patition is right. you must have 2 partitions, fat 32 and sd-ext. now in hd2 nand tool kit choose mgldr partition size as 'custom' then cache size 5MB then click repartition in usb flasher mode then write 190 in the opening window not 400. that's all.
I have managed to get the rom to bootup now after waiting for ages, but when booted it says the memory is low so im guessing its not using the SD card, when i look at the SD card i do not see any partitions so the partitioning tool in clockworkmod hasnt worked, is there a better way to partition the SD card for use with the rom?
you can see the partition in your sd by root explorer apk. or you can dowload to your pc mini tool partition magic an you can manage your partitions. windows doesn't see it.
Theres no mention when partitioning your SD card that you wont be able to see the partitions, i think they should mention that in the tutorials.
I downloaded gparted to partition my SD card & when i loaded it i could see that it had in fact worked when i had done it before.
I installed Apps2SD+ to see if it would sort out the low memory problem but the phone wouldnt boot, i waited 20 mins but it just stayed at the strtup screen.
I am doin it over again now with the partition size you suggested so hopefully this will work, should this allow more space for apps with this partition size?
i used the rom you try to use a few days ago. you dont have to install apps2sd etc. the rom just do that. so wipe everything and flash the rom, you will not face any room problem. to free some ram,you can use built in task manager or a task killer.
Hey mutil i have reinstalled the rom & it seems to be working great, but how do i use apps2SD? when i install new apps will they automaticly be installed to the SD card now, or do i have to chose the options somehow? thx.
yes they will go directly to sd-ext. if some applications like angry birds give force close error then get titanium backup from market, find the app that gives errorin titanium, long press on the app then choose 'move to sd'.
mutil thx for that advise. i just wanna ask you, before you installed the rom, what size clockwork mod recovery partition did you use? I used 190 as suggested above, but now reading back through the thread i see you can use a 170mb partition. Is it would be worth me doing it again as a 170mb partition, would i get any benifit do you think?
It doesn't worth to make a new partition. There will not be a great difference. Good luck.

I'm Confused.,what is Hybrid Data2sd.,why do we need partition.,Need Help...

hi all,
i have GT-i5801., froyo., DDJP2., stock rom rooted..,comes with 170 mb internal storage...
also i never used App2SD...
i used the trick via terminal emulator to install all app..default to SD.,some app installed default...others i move manually to SD...
i don't have any partition...i've 2GB Memory card which comes with default...
i've backed up all apps using titanium....
now., i want to install Kyrillios ROM V 8.0 OC....my questions are...
why do we need partition....?? what is HybridData2SD...??
in this thread.,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=957123
Install titanium and go to titanium backup's preferences, and select Restore Backups to => Internal Storage. Then do your restore...
why do i restore my back up to internal storage...??
suppose., i'm not happy with kyrillios...can i bring my stock rom froyo DDJP2 Back..?? how...??
i never flashed...this is my first...pls need more comments and help....
well Hybrid Data2SD is still a jargon for me. It has something to do like you can selectively move app data to sd card so something(not quite sure on this).
We partition our sd card so that we have a partition that is dedicated to apps only. Like its a hidden partition that will be used to store you apps on the sd card. Much better than manually moving your apps to sd card. App2SD by kyrillos (its a script, available in different versions. You need to select the version that suits your sd card class and capacity). On using such a script all your apps are moved to the sd card on installation.
By using Titanium backup you can view the free space on the sd-ex partition(the extra partition that you have made). Its best to partition the sd card via the CWM recovery which will come pre-installed on Kyrillos 8.0 or even on G3Mod Kernels.
I have provided a link below that has links to all the firmwares and kernels for our phone. So if you install Kyrillos's ROM and do not happen to like it, then you can select the stock JP2 firmware from the Index forum and flash back using ODIN.

PS.
To flash a ROM you need ODIN and the .ops(Odin partitioning Script) files. Both of them will be available when you download Kyrillos ROM.
-> Open ODIN
-> Select the .ops file
-> Select flash as one package and select the .tar file
-> Connect the phone(You must have the USB drivers for you phone installed. You can install KIES for that)
-> Once connected, ODIN will show the port number and write something as Detected or something like that.
-> flash the firmware now. Pray to GOD.
Back up your IMEI before flashing. Always flash ROMs without bootloaders as they can permanently damage(Hard Brick) you phone.
All the best.
thanks for reply....
is partition necessary...i mean is it compulsory...??

1. No partition isn't necessary. If you are happy with the internal storage that you have on your phone, then you can live without a partition!
2.All the custom ROM's (in this case Kyrillos) are without bootloaders, so they are safe to flash.
3. If you want to revert back to stock ROM, then you can find them (without bootloaders) over here:-

I came to know abt this hybrid data2sd and successfully booted CM7 and Froyo roms using multiboot.
I have written all steps on THIS post!
Hope it helps!!
Hybrid data2sd basically moves apps to your sd card partition. First you have to partition your sd card using minitool partition wizard (google it) or cwm recovery which comes on custom roms. This changes the format of that certain partition of your sd card to ext2/ext3/ext4. I think that makes it faster than fat32 which is the standard format of an sd card. When you have partitioned your sd card and have the hybrid data2sd script on your phone your apps with automatically go onto your sd card because your phone thinks the partition is internal storage so you don't need to move them in the settings (i made that mistake and my phone went crazy slow!). It's basically just a way of getting more storage whilst still keeping your phone working smoothly. Also you can easily go back to your stock rom by going to this thread and downloading whichever one you want although i don't think this will be the case since kyrillos roms are awesome.
how do i check used/remaining space in hybrid data2sd partition...??
pls need help...
I think you may need to type something into terminal emulator. Hillbeast is the best person to ask as he made the script in the first place.
Unable to Use Hybrid Data2sd
I Flashed [ROM] Kyrillos' ROM v8.2.1 JPS according to the Method given on this page.

File Names :
data2sd.dirs
fs.data2sd
multiosdata
multiosdata.cache
4)Rebooted and Installed v8.1 using Update.zip recovery mode
5) Rebooted installed v8.2.1 using Update.zip recovery
Still task manager shows 148-160mb used....

So you have basically flashed a2sd script after restoring apps?
Try wiping dalvik cache. Flash the script and reboot.

No. I just in clockwork mode created partition then installed ROM and then installed apps from market ... they are installing into internal memory and not to 2 SD partition .. I can move them to first partition but not into second one
Ok once again:
I have newly installed android typhoon CM 7.1.0 v3.7.0 ROM clk.
1. I created in CWM a 1 GB partition because I thought the programs Im gonna install will be installed into this partition and not into small internal memory.
2 After creating partition I installed typhoon CM 7.1.0 v3.7.0 ROM clk.
Now system is working and titanium backup shows that there is the active 950 MB a2sd partition.
Problem is that I dont know how should I install programs from android market into this 2SD partition. Im not able to install them nor move there.
So what should I do ?
When installing an app, choose internal storage, typhoon will put it on the SD ext. There is nothing you need to do, it is automatic. Do not choose 'move to SD ',, that will remove it from ext and put it on fat32. Make sure all apps have been moved to internal.
Also when you install, it LOOKS like internal memory drops,,, it doesn't really,, wait a few minutes or restart and memory will go back up.
example, you install a 20mb app,, available internal storage falls by 20mb,, reboot, internal storage goes back up.
