Hey I am new to this android thing and IDK why but when I try to listen to music or watch a video on my htc hd2 android the audio is sped up
Could anybody help me please?
what windows rom are you using?
You need to flash your SPL with a Hard SPL
Then you need to use an ANDROID COMPATIBLE Windows Mobile custom ROM (ex. Elegancia, Clarity, Energy Leo, Multimedia Super, etc.)
Most of them will be at the Android Development section
The Android compatible ones have audio drivers compatible for use with Android and CLRCAD.exe
Afterwards no audio problems anymore (also eliminates the robotic voice issue)
Another thing is use Radio version 2.12 to eliminate SOD (Sleep of Death) issues and get better network signal.

If this is the Touch Pro 2 put out by Sprint, US Cellular, or Verizon it is CDMA and CDMA phones lack the required FM tuner to make use of this feature. Doing some research on it, I was told that the FM tuner was sacrificed to make space for CDMA hardware. I don't know of the validity of it, but that is what Sprint Tech support told me. Further research confirmed it on the other CDMA versions as well.
Quite Honestly, there are better programs anyhow. The Touch pro 2 is much to expensive to be a running or workout radio (as could get damaged) and the only other uses may be in a car or at the office.
The program I use to get Radio, of sorts, is Resco Radio. You can pick it up here at http://www.resco.net/pocketpc/radio/.
Hope this answers your question.
Considering it plays MP3's anyway, why would you consider using it as a radio. It is the least used app on my Rhodium... Only time is if there is a major problem and I'm stuck in traffic, then I have my car stereo...
might as well use slacker if your going for random music pretty good app only thing is its a battery whore. Works great on my VZW TP2.
i am running
windows mobile - Amelia_X7_24634
android - phireMOD SkinnyEVO v1.3
radio - 2.12.50.02.2
i have tired many different wm roms and radios and i just cant figure out what the problem is. can anyone help me out? i would love to be able to talk on the phone and not hear myself talking. thanks
i have even looked around and used the search before making this new thread but i still cant find no answer.
Use dutty troys latest build, you can find that in the hd2 Windows mobile section. Works great with radio 2.12 and above....i use radio 2.15 with it,also use the latest kernels with audio fixes, and do not set the volume not to high from the speaker that is on the ear, also that can cause a echo.

Hello All,
Is there any release of Android where the FM Radio is working? I noticed the app in Android 2.1 with HTC Sense.
However, the application crashes every time it's opened.
Has there been any driver development for this piece of hardware?
I'm very agree with your request
I'm very disappointed that the FM radio does't work
Any information would be helpful, unfortunately it appears that many people do not use it.
In the mean time, I am using the RadioTime app to stream live radio stations. I also notice that every 10 seconds or so, the audio gets kind of garbled. This occurs while listening to MP3's or streaming media.
I am currently using Android 2.2 Froyo (September 3rd) release with the latest Froyo 2.2.1 System Update along with the latest rootfs, modules and zimage.
If there is a solution for the garbled audio, that would also be much appreciated.

I'm tryin to use my phone in my car using the build-in handsfree device (BMW 3-series). Sometimes it works but most times the car looses the pairing after a few minutes. After that the connection is only possible when I switch bt off and on again. But then again a pairing is not possible. I already used the phone with Android successfully in the car but only once or twice.
I used several sense-builds with a variety of different kernels such as mdjs and hastarin. I also changed the connection value in the bluetooth main.conf from 7 to 15 but without any success.
What can cause a problem like this where a connection is possible only for minutes but is working sometimes like expected?
Has anyone a similar problem with a Bluetooth headset?
Thanks for your help.

Finally I found out, that it has nothing to do with radio ROMS, nothing with the WiMo-ROM nor with the Android itself. The failure lies in the sync between android and Outlook. One of my contacts included more then 80 telephonenumbers (3 particular numbers many times) what crashed the pairing between my car and the phone. I just deleted the contact and re-added it manually. Further I stopped the sync with Outlook and now only sync appointments of the calendar...

Really no help for me...
I've got the Fiat Blue & Me system in by Abarth, it has similar problems to the one you're having in the BM, if I'm right in thinking that the Bluetooth stack is part of the radio ROM then trying a few different radio versions should help. I've found one that's fairly stable but still unpairs itself occationally. it's Leo_RADIO_2.15.50.14 running on mdee jay Evo Sense Evolution with hastarin's 8.1 kernel.
Updating the radio ROM didn't help. I could make one single call but after that it began losing pairing again. That's so sad because everything else is working pretty good so far.

I own a BMW 320d E90 and i have no problem with BT pairing.
I use the Androide 1.5 build done by Crazy_Cbr in htcmania.com (a spanish forum), with Radio 2.15 and Official Kernel #127.
Maybe your BT device needs a firmware update if your Serie 3 model is old. I have heard that you can update it in your BMW dealer, but not sure as far as i haven't needed to do it.
Greetings! (and sorry for my english)
Thank you... I have a 2010th E92 so I think the firmware is no problem. Furthermore the Version 1.5 is pretty old. I had this one with my G1 phone and was not very pleased. I also need Sense which is - afaik - not available for 1.5. Why do you not use a 2.x version?

This build is based in 2.2 but his name is "Androide 1.5", the point is that is a Senseless one...
Anyway i guess the problem is not in the build. Does BT work fine with WM?
Yes it worked pretty well with WM what brings me to the point isolating the problem on the hacked Android builds. Perhaps it'll work in the future.
@Nandeh: Which ROM Version do you use for your HD2 device (Radio ROM, WM-ROM and HSPL)???

I found out that the bluetooth pairing is stable as long as I don't have any phone numbers saved in my phone. Any ideas?
Any updates on this?
I have a 2005 1-series. First I was running WM 6.5 on my HD2 and never had problems connecting to the handsfree built in to the car. Then I installed tytungs NexusHD 2.9 NAND ROM (Android 2.3.5). After this, I can pair with the car, but the connection keeps dropping out and then reconnecting with some random intervals between maybe 3 seconds and half a minute.
I have tried to edit audio.conf and audio_pairing.conf, and also an earlier version of audio.so with no luck.
I really don't want to get a different ROM, as I really like the one from tytung.

I recently updated my HTC HD2 to WP7 from WM6.5.
I have noticed when I use my blue tooth headset the quality of my conversation to the other person is terrible.
I can hear them perfect however if the person listening to me complain that they hear every other word or it simply keeps on cutting in and out.
I'm currently using a Jawbone ICON and I recently purchased a HTC BH M300...
The quality of the conversation is improved if I lower the volume to 7 , however I then cant hear them clearly.
Need help with this as everything else works perfectly.
Thanks
Have you tried updating the Radio (not sure if that will help), but do you have this issue with any other ROM (WP7, Android and/or WM) on the same phone?
No problems prior. I had WM6.5 and Android 2.2 and 2.3 running very well.
Current radio ver 5.51.09.29_22.32.50.10U that's what is written in the WP7 about settings.
After replacing the radio version from 2.08 - 2.15 as suggested, my blue tooth now works correctly. Thanks Drashna
