For those of you in the bay area...

My first evo got its rsa keys fried so i just recieved a new one today and was super excited to test 4G. Well, in emryville, i got consistantly between 7-11mbs down and 1.3 up.
I know 4g isnt official in sf yet and to my knowledge no towers in the east bay and i have 1-2 bars of signal with amazing speeds.. wow im stoked for the official release! Maybe this is just lack of cell traffic but im really pleased with sprint on this one.

I'm getting 7-8meg in SOMA. I'm curious to see what its like at the giants game tomorrow. Will test capacity, maybe. I know one thing for sure, my iPhone won't work.

in Berkeley I cant even cop a 4g signal. I should try from Sather Tower.

No 4g connecting

Can somebody help it seems that I can't get any 4g all of the sudden. Im running nebula rom. It searches for a while and says disconnected. I had 4g previously in Sacramento but today it never connects. I even went to 4 places where I've had it before but nothing.

Gee zusz.... I thought I was the only one having this problem it happends to me like every week or so only at night tho!! I was about to create a tread asking if anyone new if there was maintance or something cause my epic and my gf evo were not connecting all of a sudden and I was playing black ops lol thanks for this tread lol

Same problem with 4g not connecting. West L.A Area. Cali. Hope they fix it soon. I get around 1-4 mbps day time and some times 5-6 mbps late night.

Same problem for me tonight. East Los Angeles. First time it happens to me. Will wait for tommorrow morning to see what's up.

Well I stay near sacramento in central cali modesto lol #4 most misarable city to live in lol in the US and still not connecting to 4g lol makes more misarable lol

No, the earthquake happened around 1 am. my 4g was out way before that like around 10 pm.

Dallas here. No 4g tonight for us either it seems.
cd's or tapes?

how did you guys find out that 4g was down? i have been looking everywhere for a status page and couldn't find anything.

Well this is the first time in about 3 months I can't get a signal. I usually keep my 4g on all the time because I can get a signal everywhere here in sacramento.

Anybody else in Sacramento not able to connect. I did a complete wipe and still nothing. Help anybody or should I take it back to sprint if its a hardware problem.

I got 2 bars at my grandpas. only use 4g at night at my grandpas if i need it because the router is far away.
always have 4g where i am but barely ever use it.

Well I think ill have to odin to see if it corrects the problem if not I 'll take it back to the sprint store.

Anyone in the Tucson,AZ Area Roaming all a sudden??

It just went back to normal weird????

We have been having intermittent roaming here too. Never did b4. Terre haute indiana. Was on roam forever sunday. Yet airplane mode cycle and u could get 4/6 bars sprint network for 20-30 minutes at a time.

I'm a service tech for Sprint and I have been seeing rumors of 4G being tested in the area.....

Better hurry up if they are going to make me roam and not roam and eat my battery!!!

No issues in the marana/nw tucson area. I'll be ecstatic if we do get 4G soon.

im on the east side (golf links and pantano) my epic isnt having any roaming issues but my girlfriends epic's

4G in Kalamazoo MI and St Joseph/benton harbor MI

so i was in kzoo MI and fliped on the 4G and lo and behold i got a 4G signal and download speeds around 4 Mbps.
also its on in st joseph/benton harbor MI as well. was surfin it in down town.

It's downtown in South Bend as well at about the same speeds.

Kalamazoo is a real place?

Hmmm I'm in portage right now cannot seem to get it. Of course I am inside a steel building, maybe that is why.

Where in Kzoo? I had heard that around campus they had it but haven't tested.

I fliped on mine in NH and got a connection today ... the only thing is that I only get one bar and can get faster speeds with 3g

i was on stadium drive. and in the mall parking lot
check out http://www.clear.com/coverage and zoom in
btw i was outside and in a clear area.

If you are not in the green on the map then the map will probably be updated in a week or two. Do not expect more than one or two towers in areas. It is just so clear can hang on to the licenses.

Lol. The map has coverage all around my apt but not at my apt in portage. Wtf

I got 4G to connect in my house about 15 minutes south of Lansing! I thought this would NEVER happen. They haven't officially made 4G "available for purchase" in the area yet either (according to the website at clear.com). Does this mean the signal still could be enhanced or stronger before it is officially available?

coming home from Eastpoint, I clicked it on by accident, waited for it to cycle off and noticed I had 4g signal at 8 and Vandyke in south Warren. It was slow as ****, but there.

I checked the map and it appears as though there's 4G around all the colleges here.. It was cool to be 'near' Notre Dame and flip on the 4G and get a connection.. didn't have time to do a speed test, the light turned green

I have heard talk that Dan Hesse visited ND (as an alum) and then promised to have 4G coverage around town by football season. I hope that's true. I live just across the river from St. Mary's and can't pick up a signal, but did pull down 3.5 Mbps downtown.

I had an appointment Thursday morning across from St. Joe High school on Angela blvd. Just for grits and shiggles, I flipped on my 4G and connected !!.. I didn't have time to do a speed test.. but I figured I was too far from holy cross college there and notre dame for it to work.. it did work.. Tuesday I'll check it out again w/ a speed test.
Pretty cool to know there are at least 3 ppl from South Bend, IN here.. we should meet up for a brewski sometime

Probly no one from nh... my connection has gotten better im getting like 2.5mb/s

I wonder when they put these up. I checked at KVCC and Davenport a few months ago and got nothing.

I am in Washington DC during the day and get good 4g signal. It has always worked fine till monday. It says im connected but can get on the net or download apps not even facebook. Anybody else having this issue.

contact sprint to make sure your 4g mac address is not blacklisted

+1 happens on and off in Philly, PA and Brooklyn, NY. Get full signal but no internet

Happened to me in NYC area, reflashed and 4G worked fine after that.

I was gone last week. Everything was working fine today until about 2:30 pm and then I started having problems like OP described. This is in the Friendship Heights area.
