Hello, I have been using my touch 2 for almost a year now, and im sick of prank calls.. I thought i saw the feature for this already on the phone under the phone settings but i cannot seem to find it again.. i am not wanting to install software to stop these calls, im just wondering if the touch 2 comes with the feature.
Thanks

I will like to do the same thing. I would like to block specific callers. Is there a program or a fix to this in the registry?

Hi, is there a program on how to block a number from showing up AT ALL? I thought it's a stretch seeing how most programs (like call firewall) would just blacklist a number but the number still goes through and shows up on the caller ID. I'd like to make it where the number doesnt get through and would not show up on my caller ID...is that possible?
Thanks in advance =)

does the number still go through? I know it'll be a static noise on their end, but I also dont want the number to show up on MY end...as if they never called me in the first place.

the calls can be rejected, and the program create a log where you can see the numbers rejected, the hours or how many times a number called you. the sms you can say to the program to reject or to put directly in the eliminated sms. try it ans say to me how it works
SPB phone suite will do the job you can make even a scedule when a sertain number will be blocked.

yeah i use that also, you make a call and once it makes a connection(someone picking up) it vibrate, its pretty cool and it also has a different unlock screen

No, it's not related.
He wanted to know how he can have a short vibrate-signal when a call connection is established (e.g. when answering a phone call, the phone vibrates one short time and shows you that you can speak now)
Try Yota Contacts. It also has the vibrate when call picked up feature.
isn't that available on the Blackstone Dialer too?

Yes. The option became available for me after installing the Blackstone Dialer.
It's under phone options on the "Advanced" tab (the last one on the right).

Great!
TNX!
But HOW to do this without additional (huge) programs?? Registry fix for example.
Like usual patch for SE k750...
Cool

Ah, cool. Sodoes this work for outgoing calls? Say when the other person picks up, so we don't have to keep phone to ear while it rings.
The feature described sounds nice, it's a HTC feature? I'v never heard of it before.

It is old feature as my granny. All sonyericsson phones have patches to make it feature and even developed for symbian...

For the fifth time in this forum, search for VAlert. It's a small problem which allows you to choose the "pulse" you want for incoming calls.
I have a lot of ring tones on my Touch Pro and I'd like to be able to use all of them without having to manually switch them every time I want a different one.
What I'd like to know is if there is an app that will randomly pick a ring tone from a specified folder whenever someone calls. So every call I receive will play a different ring tone. Does something like this exist? If not, would it be possible to create?
Thanks.

+1 on this program, been using it since the Tilt.
Holy cow, that's exactly what I was looking for! I've been looking for something like this since I had the PPC6700. Thank's a ton. I guess doing a search would of had that come up, so sorry fr that, but thansk again.
Is it possible to disable phone wake up when a new message comes in? I want wake up to be enabled when a call is coming, but not for text messages. I think there are some "scripts" in the registry to control the ringing-behaviour and these involve wake up. Is it possible to modify this setting specifically for SMS/MMS?

What does it do to achieve it? I don't like XperiaTweak too much, I don't think it's a very good piece of SW. And it means one app more.
it does what you have asked.

Doesn't sound like it's working well for them. Are you sure this is the same thing that XperiaTweak does?
Have you tried applying the registry tweak mentioned in the threads? It was what you were looking for, wasn't it?
HK_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL
Select "New" D_Word and you will be asked to enter the details :
Top portion just enter : DisableSMSWakeUpEvent
and bottom portion just enter the value : 1

I've tried it now and it seems to work so far Thank you very much for your help!
I need help. I cracked my screen recently, and it makes my Proximity sensor unusable, can anyone tell me how to disable it? It is really annoying making calls, and receiving them!
