Can the prophets use the FAT32 format sd or mmc memory cards? :?:
I have a 2go mini sd FAT32 (which I use with a SD adapter) and it work fine.

I am running 2.8v SC with Eb01/16v kernel, and am going to upgrade my SD card to a 32Gb, I was wondering when formatting if there is a utility program to #1 format the card in ext4 and #2 partition the card.
I have installed MccMBoxmaX MixTheme RR V11 through the sd card method (WinMo / Android dual boot). Everything works ok, but I don´t have access to the sd card, so it doesn't let me take photos (says that no sd card is inserted). What am I doing wrong?
solved it with sd formatter 3.0

maybe you have solved the issue, maybe this is still helpful: i downloaded the "sd formatter 3.0" (just google it) and formatted my sd card through a card reader (not via usb), after that android accepted the sd card.
BUT: when i initially ran the procedure in win xp, the card wasn't readable after formatting, so win xp prompted me to format it again. i then ran the formatter in windows 7 and everything went great.
Hey I wanna use mounts2sd app in order to move applications to my sd card (apps like facebook, google chrome and other unmoveable apps)
but once I launch the application it says:
the sd-ext partition could not be located mounts2sd
I get similar error using Link2sd app:
second partition not found link2sd
What to do?

-both application gained root access.
-using Crash ROM V8 (sep 2013)
-Using Presus kernel alpha9
-init.d script is fully supported, installed, and working
-Busybox is supported, installed and working
(crash rom supports Busybox and inti.d script)

Is your SD card partitioned ? If not, this is normal from Link2SD.
Your problem is that your SD card is not mounted at all (no /storage/ExtSdCard folder).
Did you try your SD card with another device ?
Unfortunately, some users report problems with ScanDisk SD Cards on Samsung devices, it may also come from the brand.

I dont think my SD card is partitioned.. i mean I have never changed/ created anything.. should it b partitioned automatically or i should change something? cuz i havent changed anything..
so anyway, how do I partition my sd card?

SD card partition is made with a Partition wizard tool on a PC with memory card reader. You can also use CWM recovery.
SD card partition erases the whole content of the SD card, so be sure to make a backup before.
For low end devices with few internal memory, it can be useful to create a 2nd partition on the SD card to link applications into it and save place in internal memory (link2SD does it perfectly).
But for our devices, i'm not sure this is useful because internal storage is quite big already.
You can still move applications on the SD card with link2SD (it does not need 2dn SD card partition to work anyway) :
select the app in the list, then select "move to SD card"
