2. wont buy right away anyways do to bugs/problems
Maybe christmas or next February since i get a full upgrade after a year. And maybe it will be rooted by then

It will be nice for me - thankfully I don't have a credit card - and my bank blocks debit transactions out side of the U.S. to prevent fraud. My only option since day 1 has been to get a Visa Gift card to buy apps that are in a foreign currency.

I only see 2 and according to the times on the op they were at the same time so it not impossible for duplicate post. Simply it wasn't one when the op posted. So no need for rude remarks. It be more effective to just say "hey thanks for the info there's another post about this" or just not respond at all and let the post fall in the endless void of pages. Just saying.

Id hardley call it scouring the forums. All 3 (and yes, there are 3) were the top 3 threads in this forum. I also don't see what I said as snide. It was simply asking a question. That is what a discussion forum is for. Maybe if you learned to use them, I.e., posting in the correct forum/search before you create a new thread, you would know that.
You are the only one making assumtions and calling names and I think you are the only one coming off as a jerk.

If I remember right. Your phone will keep the call from tower to Airave, but not from Airave to tower.

Its the other way around you can go from airrave to tower but not tower to airrave and what sucks is if you were on a tower then you get in range of an airrave you will need to hang up cuz the airrave creates a lot of interference with the tower while your on a call

There is no service in downtown Phoenix. If you go WAYY up north or to Mesa they have little dots... but nothing downtown in the city.

Wishful thinking. The unrealistic and exaggerated schedule is to appease the investors and to prevent subscriber churn. There's also the big issue with how they're going to fund the upgrade. I believe this is a desperation do-or-die move as they see the writing on on wall in a few years unless something very drastic is done for any chance of survival.

We have spots of 4g service here and there in Tucson. Downtown, midtown, near the U of A, and at the Park Place Mall... But I live on the north side... :-(

I'm actually pretty excited about LTE. Has there been any coverage maps released/leaked for any market? I'm in North Carolina and with the Galaxy nexus and Evo Lte launching soon I do not want to be stuck without 4g for too long.

This website seems to have a lot of info on the rollout of LTE for Sprint. If you click on a city it will give you a coverage map for that part of the state it is in.

Very informative. I think where I live in CT is going to be right between the Boston and NYC rollouts.

That link was GREAT. I am just outside the Chicago market in NW Indiana, and that link showed some great details that I couldn't find anywhere else. Looks like I may be able to use LTE come June/July around my area.

Waco was selected for a LTE FIT (field implementation testing), so that's why it has LTE in advance of the Austin city proper. But Network Vision/LTE deployment over the rest of the Austin market will begin soon. Stay tuned.

Looks like right around June 1st is when sites in the rest of the Austin market start in a big way. The schedule will go out approx. 5 months or so to complete the market to 100%. I created a LTE coverage map of the Waco FIT sites tonight.
