Got a couple of places where I got squares and hope someone can show me how to fix it.
First one is the hyperlink. Something about downloading whole message. Hotmail.
Second one is Sent I'm guessing?
I've been looking but found nothing. Appreciate any help.

Hello. I just cooked a ROM with the new Manila 2.1 packages (with weather on home screen). Everything works great, except the messages in the manila messaging tab are out of order chronologically. Anyone else experienced this problem? Is there a fix? Your help would be greatly appreciated.
By the way, the new manila is beautiful. Here are screenshots of my ROM and the messaging problem.

I solved it by replacing the HTC messaging enhancement packages with packaged from an older version of Manila.
Anyone knows how to show/create the folders in sms inbox like blackstone/WM6.1
In previous version i can just sort out different person's sms into different folders, I think it can be done by just change the registry, anyone got it? Please share to others. thanks.

Same here. Using MS messaging as I wanted to create sub-folders in SMS.

this is not a fix to the problem .. this is simply how we are working now till finding a fix!

so this will disable HTC messaging and anable Outlook as a defoult SMS clint?
is there any update that we can see subfolders on new HTC messaging. i had a subfolder on my old diamond, still when i backup or restor sms on HD2 the subfolder is there but can't see. that mean its hidden on some were els.
Anyone have a cab to install the send/receive all app?? the 2/4 energy doesn't have that program built in and i need it back!! got 5 email accounts which need checking often.

Does anyone know how to remove a notification of a phantom e-mail from the Sense Homepage tab?
It's only on the tab at the bottom, no sign of it anywhere else, always shows one more e-mail than I have.
Have tried turning Sense off and on, turning sense off and rebooting phone, ... all the usual stuff!

Ok what happened is the reg that shows the message count is stuck, the exe that I posted will reset the reg to show 0
I've tried it twice, but I'm still left with the notification for the extra e-mail
Ah... fixed! Someone on a forum I'm not allowed to link to posted this:
"Have you recently added a new email account or set up a new exchange sync? I found when I did this there'd be a message from MS about 'email tips' would magically appear. It appearred as a 'read' message but still added a count of 1 to the 'unread' . If it's there delete it."
This was indeed the problem!

I then searched the forum and found the above post. I ran the exe posted, and then rebooted, which sorted it out. Thanks zelendel! I've kept the exe in case the 'phantom email notification' happens again.

Is there any solution to enable threaded Email problem for com3 23128 build ? This problem occurs on both chucky's rom and dutty's rom. I think this problem belongs to build 23128 not to cooked roms.If there is someone who can prepare a fix cab I will be really appreciated

Which email provider are you using ? I believe Chucky ROMs already has the threaded email fix in them ... dont you see "conversation" option in Outlook ?

I use Gmail and Outlook E-Maill but the problem is when I reply an email it doesn't fill "To:" part automatically. that field is empty so I have to fill that part I mean email adress manually

I dont think thats what "threaded" is supposed to mean...
I always thought threaded is for Conversation mode in Outlook which displays all related emails as one "conversation" ... How can the email address not coming on Replies be related ...

as far as I know it is a bug in com3 23128 build. thats why we are looking for a solution. I hope there will be easy solution like registry editing.

Yeah as Sanjeev has said, "Conversation mode in Outlook" is threaded email, the bug your referring to isn't threaded email
Since I don't know how to fix it, I've already asked in Chef Central (no replies as yet ).

They aren't trying to "find word mistakes," they're trying to help. Threading and your reply-to issue aren't related, and the title of this thread is Threaded Email Problem, so somebody had to say it.

ps: I have another problem in manila, when I try to import sim contacts from manila it seems it is importing contacts but at the end of process any contacts cant be imported.however when I try to import from sim manager it really works well and all contacts are imported to phone. can the reason be a registry fault? or something else? because it looks a link between manila and simmanager is broken
