[Q] Fast sound on Android 2.1 and 2.2

Hey all, I've been trying to use Android with my T-Mobile HD2, and I have only run into two issues. First off the sound (imported ringtones and what not) run at a faster pace then normal and are slightly pitched up. Any idea how to fix this? I'm pretty sure that it isn't the system in general, because my clock runs at the correct speed.
Secondly, I can't take pictures with my camera in 2.1 because I obviously don't have an "optical trackball".
Any thoughts?
i have the same problem i think it might be the radio so im changing it to see ill get back to you and let you know if it works.
so i found out whats the problem its the radio i bet ur using 2.12.50 that one doesnt work for sound im using 2.10.50.26 and that one is working great sound is perfect again
Cool, thanks. Any idea how to work the camera?

Install missing Sense Widgets / Apps in Sense ROMS

Hey,
I'm using various Sense Roms. In some of them there are a few Sense Apps or Widgets missing. Is it possible to install them manually?
Or to put them into a ROM afterwards?
Does somebody know where to get/download the Sense-APKs?
Hope somebody can help...
greetz TOM
I am looking them too.
An example: I like Location widget but rom makers deletes this widget.
How can i find/install sense widgets as this.
And
I am looking for a gingerbread rom with sense. There are a few roms (imilka's, boyppc etc.) but they have lots of missing widgets/features.
Is there a FULLY WORKING GINGERBREAD with SENSE 3.0.
Thanks.

Gingerbread Sense 3.0 ROM is still under development and it's in a very alpha stage atm.
Imilka's GB ROM has Sense 2.1 and some issues like camcorder not working and some minor visual glitches.
Here it is what you're looking for mate

Fm radio

Hey I was wondering if there is a way I can get the fm radio that comes with some roms. I trued the market but those don't have what im looking for.

CM7 rom can use the FM Radio. but i think you need a Rom that supports the FM Receiver
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1084756
as I stated, I'm not sure if it works on all aosp roms. give it a shot and let us know.

Radio question

I know radios are reginal but was woundering if Rom has an effect? Like if one radio is awsome for me on cm7 would a diff 1 be better on an ics or sense Rom?

It looks complicated, so I'll find another one for you soon.
EDIT: http://android.stackexchange.com/questions/70/what-is-radio-firmware
The radio firmware controls basic low-level functions like network connectivity, Wi-Fi, and GPS.
Usually upgrading your radio will not give you any new features but will fix connectivity issues, increase range or performance, decrease battery usage, or the like. Some ROM's require you to have the latest radio versions to work.
While a botched radio upgrade can brick your phone, the process is basically the same as upgrading your ROM. Just make sure not to unplug or power down your phone in the middle, make sure you trust the person who released the radio firmware, and try to read some comments or reviews.

Strike out WiFi and GPS. They have nothing to do with baseband, neither HW- nor SW-wise, and are controlled by drivers on application processor - in kernel/user space.
So if switch kernels there may be a better radio for me then works best with my current kernel

@invasion not quite what I was asking but glad you posted. My girls stock mt4g and had ota update that I haven,t, it has diff radio and she gets better signal. But I did learn New stuff thanks

Again:
Kernel governs WiFi/GPS/FM connectivity.
Baseband (radio) governs cellular network connectivity.
They're UNRELATED.
Thanks wasn't as clear in other post
