Hi, I have some problems with my HTC Wildfire.
1. I installed HTC SYNC 3 but I could not access by Wildfire
2. I tried to use Gold Card Tool but it did not get any CID - I suppose because of the problem 1.
3. I have a Vodafone branding and I would like to have the original HTC version on by Wildfire. The question is, which of the ROMS in Buzz is the original one?
4. I have download this version: RUU_Buzz_HTC_WWE_1.14.405.2_R_C_Radio_13.45.55.24_3.35.15.19_release_141106_signed. Is it a version with german language and can I later on update my Wildfire to 2.2?
As I am new, maybe some of the questions are posted but I could not find them in the forum.
Thanks, M.
Original HTC Wilfdire ROM
Hi, the problem with SYNC is solved. One thing about the the roms in "shipped roms" - which one of them is the original HTC ROM for Europe?
Maybe this one:
RUU_Buzz_HTC_WWE_1.14.405.2_R_Radio_13.45.55.24_3.35.15.31_release_130814_signed.exe
Any help will be greate.

That one.
Keep in mind flashing will void warranty and You need locale switcher to put on the german language.
HTC apps and keyboard recognition will stay in stock rom's language(WWE = World Wide English).

I think that is an HTC Asia WWE ROM...

I'm really not sure, without hardspl to ensure it won't go wrong, but
I think you should be able to find out pretty quickly.
It'll likely get to 1% and give you an illegal vendor id if it isn't going to work.
No Gg wrong Vender ID..
HSPL cant come any sooner

do you have link for that ROM?
I have no idea about this ROM either, where it came from???
checkout the SPL HSPL devwork thread
Cmonex can actually change the ROM language on your device, as long
as you want to swap ROM's that are shipped_signed (official HTC) she can help you get that done with a trick.
No HSPL available/needed for ROM swap
I would love to change the language on my HD2 to english... it`s in dutch now and my dutch sucks... What`s the tricksie?

Hi all, I am new to rom cooking and this is the first rom I have ever made.
Thanks Bobsbbq for the tips.
What I have done: changed the htc english IME to htc CHT IME, taken from stock HKCSL rom. Other things stay the same.
Here is the link: Click here
To install, follow the instructions here
Known Issues:
1. For some reasons the items in the start menu do not go into the right folder like in the tmous stock rom
2. After like an hour of playing it seems like with the CHT support the phone runs less smooth
It's a bit little too late as I already have LostInAsia ROM installed. It works OK so far, but I lost ALL branding.
Yes I was thinking if I am a little late as well
But then what I really wanted is the stock Tmous rom and the CHT support and that's all. I actually tried the LIA rom it's good but don't really like the fancy graphics.
Anyway what do you mean by losing all branding? In LIA rom or my rom? This is my first time cooking so I really want some feed back to help improve my cooking skills.

He means he lost all of the TMOUS branding. Which to each his own but for me that would be a good thing

Hi, I like your rom, but do you put other Chinese input come from Taiwan HTC rom for HD2 that would be great. I don't like too fancy so the default one is which I like used. I can found only one Chinese input from you rom, otherwise it is great for me.
@makino, This is quite a nice rom, good job cooking it from the HK version. However i was wondering if there is any way to cook the rom to full CHT instead of WWE?

Thanks for posting the ROM. But the thing is that I can't download from depositefiles ... I think it's the country block or something. Is there a mirror download site? Thanks again.
I think I need to learn how to cook ROM to add CHT support on my own; in addition, I also have to know how to flash offical ROM without flashing radio, so is it possible to flash offical ROM from Hong Kong version without radio?

Hi, thanks for the amazing work. What I want to know is. Is it possible for you to make a separate .cab file for the CHT menus? I have Josh's T-Mobile test rom flashed on my HD2 and want to keep using it, so a stand alone CHT menu pack would be ideal.
Thanks!

check out the stickies at the top of the dev forum... you will need to flash a stock ROM from SD card. this will overwrite ROM and HSPL.
Just read before you do anything so you know what is happening and how to do it.
Hi, new member here. Just bought my T-Mobile HD2 about 4 days ago.
First I want to say a big thank you to all the mods/senior members/and contributors for creating such a wonderful forum and resource centre for the HD2.
I've read most of the stickied threads and noob guides, but before I get started with flashing my T-Mobile HD2, there are some concerns and questions I wish to clarify:
My T-Mobile software specs (completely stock, purchased on the 24th Apr 2010) :
OS version 5.2.21889 (21889.5.0.87)
Manila Version 2.5.20121412.1
Rom version 2.10.531.1 (82076) WWE
Rom date 02/22/10
Radio version 2.08.50.08_2
What I wish to do to my T-Mobile HD2 :
1) SIM unlock the phone so I can use any carrier/SIM card from any service provider, anywhere around the globe, since I'm a frequent traveller.
2) Traditional Chinese support, more specifically Taiwanese language support. I have loads of files in Traditional Chinese and having the Asian language support is my top priority.
3) Flash the T-Mobile HD2 to the original HTC Taiwan rom, but retaining the full 576mb ram and 1gb Rom spec. OR Source some cooked rom that contains Traditional Chinese support (Trad Chinese = Taiwanese) that is compatible with the T-Mobile HD2 spec.
So.... from my understanding, based on the stickied threads on this forum, I need to perform the following :
1) Flash HARDSPL
2) Flash the appropriate rom (Which I can't find, I tried everywhere)
3) Flash the appropriate radio (Not sure if its 100% necessary)
4) Hard reset
Am I going on the right track? Please advise, and thanks in advance.
Bump.
A language pack would do the job, I don't really have to flash my phone to a traditional chinese rom.
Any idea where I can source such language pack? I googled everywhere but can't seem to find a T-Mobile compatiable pack.
asian language

Its a good job you havent found an official taiwanese rom, if you flash that rom (should you find it) you will kill your phone.
Your phone can ONLY support the tmous offical 2.x rom, or cooked roms based on that 2.x rom.
The taiwanese rom, should you find it, will:-
1 - be version 1.66 (probably) so wont run
2 - will include a radio, almost certainly a ..51.. radio - result? bricked phone.
Your best option is a tmous compatible cooked rom with the correct language.
no, what I meant was to extract the font from the taiwanese rom. I've been doing some googling and digging on various forums, apprantely you can get a language pack installed, but the links are dead : (
http://ricky119.com/chinesesupport/
Search for "MS Arial unicode font". It's what that website fonts are based on. Be warned that it is a whopping 22 Mb since it is a full Unicode set.
Having the font installed allows you to read Chinese. It will not change the entire wm 6.5 menu into that language.
Also, It does not integrate into the current keyboard software. For Chinese input, you still need something like the one I suggested in my earlier post.

I am looking for a Chinese Traditional ROM or some language pack for TMOUS HD2. Please if the ROM linked above works? or direct me to some other source.
I'm looking for the original ROM for Htc Touch2 in Traditional Chinese?I have searched this forum and find none.
I hope my old post here still works, thsi is the traditional chinese ROM used in HongKong... no idea if there is a separate Taiwan ROM though, or any other CHT ROM:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=6122684&postcount=47
By the way, in case you don't the whole OS in traditional Chinese, but only the input methods (Zhuyin/BoPoMoFo), then use the WWE Asia ROM and read this here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=659970
Moved as not rom development.

Can this ROM unbrand my HD7 to European Unbranded?
