In the description, it says the video was recorded over Skype, so the person who uploaded it does not have the phone...

Hey guys i've got a problem. Flashed my x10i with x10a, believe me it was a really stupid move. Is their any possible way of getting back to x10i? SESUS won't let me repair now.

Procedure is similar. Search the forum for the needed files...
what is the different from x10i and x10a?
You won't be able to get updates. Like if 2.1 came out today you won't get it.

They use different mobile bands.
X10a is the American Version.

Thats only half true.
X10i @ X10i can be updated.
X10a @ X10a, too.
But:
X10i @ X10a and vice versa not.
But you can fix it by rebranding them...

Why the hack should anybody want to flash ones X10i to X10a just to flash it back?
If it was flashed in one direction, due to a mistake caused by LollyLost100s misunderstandable copy & pasted tutorial, everything is written down in this forum.
Sorry if this is a little harsh.
But I'm really bored by reading the same questions all few days, if there already are similar threads over and over and ppl just are too lazy to determine anything on there own. Mum and Dad can't help you all the time...

Looks nice. If this is as far as they'll take customization I'll be a happy camper. It's got the distinct Xperia look yet retains the better UI from the stock distribution.

Yes, Arabic is supported in 2.1 upgrade.

China can make any phone 10 times better, but they might get sued for it.
And if this is true I am buying one from China.
I saw those news too.
And that was confirmed by other people that no mt is provided and the phone can not be rooted and there exists no difference on the internal apps.
It seems that this update is only for restricting us from rooting

maybe theres only pinch zooming but no real multitouch..
So if we want to buy this device, we must hope that they phone will not have the same touchscreen as us.

Thanks for helping us spot this error. Josh has updated the comments to reflect that the Xperia mini and Xperia mini pro do support multitouch. Our Xperia X10 mini and Xperia X10 mini pro are the devices without multitouch. Sorry for any confusion this caused.

those new minis actually got all the missing features and software in the x8 and the x10 minis i'm kind of sad that i bought the x8 instead of waiting for those but i didn't know that they were coming out
