Hello, im an owner of a EU Leo, and I just installed some roms that have sense included in them on NAND, so I need A2SD...
Everything was smooth an i moved all apps that can be moved to SD and rebooted for the first time.. Then BAM! You wait for a little and only 24 apps recover out of 60, all the other apps are GONE! can anyone please help me to avoid this?
This is the ROM I'm currently using: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=954369 (however, its not the first rom that made this happen)
Thank you!
P.S The apps arent completely gone, if you go to application you can see they are on sd but they have a long name small memory taken and an Micro SD card icon instead of their icon..
Why are you moving them??
That rom aswell as majority of others use a partition on your sd card and automatically move the apps or data there for you. You have absolutely no need to move them at all.
Just partition your sdcard with CWM, 1GB and then 0MB swap.
Hmmm, I move them to get more space shouldnt I? I partitioned it with 1GB ext3 primary and thats all I did, then i revcovered with titanium backup and installed App2SD from he market to give me a notification for every app installed on internal memory to move it to sd, and I move them! Plz correct my actions!
will any1 plz reply?

They should automatically be moving to sd-ext. They will likley be showing as internal as teh sd-ext will be reporting as internal memory. When you move them you are probably breaking them.
Start over, Install some apps then reboot device and check your internal or sd-ext storage space via Titanium and see what it says.
Hello everyone
First at all want thanks the valious information in this forum. For a newbie like me is superb.
Now I´m needing here some tips please.
I have a IDEOS S7 tablet rooted (with SuperOneClick), working in full with the SuperUser, I have root access through with Root Explorer.
I use Link2SD to change the apps from the internal memory to the internal SD card.
I have no partitions on internal SD (do not know how to do).
The question: When i install an application this one goes to the /data/app folder, but also some additional files of this application goes to the /data/data folder.
With Link2sd when I move an app to the SD internal card, only the file in data/app moves and the files/folders in the data/data remain´s there!
For example when I install an application with 11MB (adobe flash for example) and move it with the link2sd to the internal SD card never copies all the 11MB (only about 3MB are copied )..... I conclude that any app that I install, and moved to SDcard, I can never keep in the same internal memory free "measurement" of bytes!
Example, I have 136MB free before installing Adobe. After installation I get 125MB. I move the app to the internal SD and are moved only 3MB! The remaining (8MB) stay in the internal memory. So, i never stay again with the 136MB that I had before, but +- 128MB.
What is wrong? Can I move all files of an application or not? What am I doing wrong or is this just like that!!? Any suggestion please?
By the way how can I create a partition on the InternalSD card and what is the advantage of doing this?
Thank you for your attention
regards
pedro

Hi guys!
I'm facing a problem with my sd card. I tried to view the content of my sd-ext partition and clean it up a little bit but unfortunately I couldn't mount it and couldn't find the folder/partition neither in RootExplorer nor in the default CM file manager nor in ES FileExplorer. I tried it with different ROMs (4.1.2), nativesd, dataonext and nand as well but none of them could see the sd-ext folder.
I have a 16GB Samsung class 6 card originally formatted with MiniTool Partition Wizard but afterwards I formatted it with CWM as well. 2GB sd-ext4 partition.
Did anyone have the same problem? How could I solve it? (I tried searching the forum and on google as well but couldn't find anything helpful.)
Thanks for your help in advance! :good:

Hi,
what do you meen with "sd-ext"? The ext4-partition of you NativeSD-android?
If yes: If you run your NativeSD-android, the ext4-partition is mounted under "/NativeSD/"
If no: please give me more infos...

Oh god I feel a little stupid now...
That's exactly what I meant, thank you! I was looking for a folder called sd-ext as I used to have it on my previous phone.
Thanks for your help!

LVM is coming to custom Roms and the 2gb problem will be solved once and for all. You do not need to format the SD card to NTFS. Just be a bit patient as the devs iron out this.
newbie here..
if i wiped my internal storage through twrp.. will it also delete the twrp?
also, how do we change or add more fonts into this?
im using lawnchair
thanks for the answer in advance
