[Q] Browser issue: Cant save image - Galaxy S I9000 General

Hi,
I just bought my phone and when I try to save images through the browser, it always says "File not found in cache". But when I click view image, it starts downloading, tries downloading for a long time (could be an issue with my operatory) and finally fails every single time.
Can someone please shed some light. I really appreciate your help on this.

Windows Mobile Event Viewer

I dont think one exists( ive searched) but im wondering what the feasability of an "event viewer" type app for wm is.
For example it could log any errors it hits or even sucsesses.
The reason i ask is that my phone no matter which rom ive used, original or any of the TNT's (my fav ) it will from time to time get stuck in standby and I'm fairly sure that its something in the notification queue that falls over but its next to impossible to find out what, ive tried till im blue in the face installing and uninstalling things but still cant work it out.
an event viewer could say log each notificaion event as it happens then if your phone freezes up in standby, soft reset and check the log and you should see the big gap between when the failed item ran and when you restarted your phone.
does this make sense? if it is possible is anyone here up for the challenge.
funy,
you can try SKtools, it has event viewer and other for you to troubleshoot the problem you are facing with your phone.
just trying it now but eventviewer doesnt really show much which might suggest a problem. anyone got any more ideas? driving me nuts.
thanks

Browser/Flash Question

Hey All, I've had my TF for about a month now, and while I do love the device. the one thing that is constantly annoying me is in the browser. I have the agent string set to "Desktop" and it displays almost all websites without a problem. The annoying thing is when I open up Facebook and click on a picture someone has posted, it loads the picture up at a large size (almost full screen) with flash, but when I try to scroll to the comments the picture stays up blocking the picture. Has anyone else had this problem or know a workaround for it? The closest that I have come is keeping Dolphin also installed on the TF with the agent string on that set to Phone so I can view without Flash freaking out. Thanks!
Wow over 40 views and no thoughts. Am I the only having this issue, or the only one too dumb to know how to fix it?
sorry i cant offer a solution, but i can agree with what youve described. Picture blows up, and ive noticed the most horrible lag during that time. I try closing the picture and it takes a good 3-4 seconds to close..
havent tried on any other browsers

[Q] Images stop loading

Let me start ff by saying I'm running the latest Glazed Jelly Bean ROM and have looked for a solution to this for about a week now. It seems that after a while of browsing images, regardless of the app, the images either don't load fully (remain pixelated [Minoriko]) or dont load at all in full screen [Google Play app screenshots]. Either way, its very annoying.
I seem to have found a work-around where you close out of the app and close it via "active applications" and then restart it, but this is really bothersome considering it happens after 2 mins of browsing.
What I first thought is that the app cache is filling up quickly so I I tried to keep cleaning that, but it doesn't make too much of a difference. Any ideas what is causing this?

Its been over 24 hours and no reply. No one have any idea on what the problem may be? Any help will be appreciated.

Images downloaded - Bottom half discolored

I've been having a pretty random issue with images download from the web. (mostly browsing Reddit).
This happens regardless of if I use an app (baconreader) or chrome and started happening maybe about a month and a half ago.
Every now and then an image will show with about the bottom-half of it discolored. Only way to get the image to load properly is to clear cache and try to reload again. It appears to be downloading incorrectly or something.
I'm worried it may be something wrong with my internal storage but none of my pictures taken from the camera are affected by this at all. I've had no other problems with the phone recently either.
I know Reddit uses Imgur images almost exclusively, so it might be an imgur problem?
I've attached an image showing the problem (taken from Baconreader app, opening in Chrome resulted in almost the same problem except discoloring started at a different location)
Any insight or help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Pictures with flash sometimes not saved if exiting Camera app too soon

Under some conditions, the LG camera app will take a picture, but not actually save it, if you exit the app too quickly after taking the picture.
If you take a picture using the flash in either Simple or Auto mode, and exit the Camera app (hitting Back) before the thumbnail in the lower-right corner updates to show the picture you just took, then the picture will not actually be saved at all.
I noticed this issue a few days ago, and was able to confirm it last night. With help from a user on another forum, we helped narrow down the conditions where this happens. I have Verizon, he has Sprint, we both have Camera app version 4.52.34.4. I reproduced the problem even if saving to the phone's internal memory, rather than my SD card.
If using Auto mode, for instance, and the flash is not used, then you immediately try to exit, the app will pause, giving a "Saving" message. And the picture will still be saved. But if the flash does fire, then it will let you exit the app immediately, and the picture will not be saved, if you exit before the gallery thumbnail updates. Simple mode will also let you exit without actually saving, if the flash fires.
In Manual mode, this apparent bug does not seem to apply. It saves correctly whether the flash fires or not, even if you immediately try to exit.
This is the thread I made exploring this over on AC:
http://forums.androidcentral.com/lg-g4/561112-picture-not-saving-when-exiting-camera-app-immediately-after-taking-picture.html
Something to be aware of, as it could cause a lost picture, especially if taking it quickly then going back to something else.
I actually noticed this myself and thought I was going crazy. Twice I've taken a picture and then been unable to find it later and both times I know I took it because they had the flash go off.
