Hello I wana buy x10. Which colour to buy and which 1 gets more fingerprints etc. please share your thoughts
I have black, it looks very elegant. White looks very modern and clean. But elegance is my style.
Get the White and protect the screen with matte screen protector and CapDase Soft Case to protect the outer casing.
I think there was a similar thread before.
The black matte finish doesn't really show fingerprints. The white glossy finish is more susceptible to fingerprints but it doesn't show clearly because it's white.

I have white and I have played with black. I do love them both, Xperia X10 in general is a good looking and designed phone. It depends on your style and how you feel to see everyday in your hands.
You will be happy with either of them, specially since buying a different housing is not expensive anymore.

i dont get it....you have been posting for weeks about things that you have been trying on your x10, now you say you wanna buy one? what gives? i was talking with you about different launchers we were using at one stage - did you actually have the phone then?

I was wondering anyone here from UK has the Black edition of the DHD from Orange.
I was trying to search for some real life photographs of it without result.
From stocks image, it looks pretty awesome, and I was thinking of getting it, but it would suck if there is a big orange logo stamped on it. Anyone can confirm?

the only orange branding on it, is on the battery cover (easly replaceable)

I had it in my presence for a day or so...
Unfortunately when I compared it to my brown DHD, I must say I much preferred the brown look. The orange logo in my opinion is a bit of an eyesore but its not that big.

May I ask why in particular? Or it is just a preference of colour personally?

i own the black edition, and yes the orange logo is not very nice, but i plan to get another cover for it...
Anyway, the phone is quite nice, i must admit i've not seen (live) the brown one, but this is quite nice in black...
since the logo is printed on the bottom cover, we can replace luckily. But the thing is I only found the coffee colour version of it. and its not cheap, 15-20quid for that tiny cover.

Honestly its my colour preference.
To me the brown just looks more full. It looks weighty and expensive.

Can you post some pix of your Black DHD mate?
My mates got a black one sim free no logos. Looks good but seems plain to me.

Most phones are black, this kind of brown colour gives you a sense of independence, it'll be very hard to come across something cheap that's brown not black.
I think the brown sort of shows different colour under different lighting, sometimes you even see it in silver. The black edition is totally matte black I think.

I got the brown version, and while I wanted the black version at first, the brown one looks sexier than I imagined. Too bad I use an otter box, so its black afterall^^

yea, if anyone out here have access to the black and brown version and take a photo with them side by side, will be a very good comparision.
Just got a black DHD from Orange, compared to previous phones from them the branding is relatively unobtrusive. I've attatched a pic of the back panel that should give you some idea. Sorry about the quality but this was taken with a rubbish camera in poor lighting.

well, the truth is, the "brown" one would cost me £199 plus the renewal of my contract, the black came freebie....:
But, i need to cofess, i like black phones...
I can not decide if I should buy the white version or the "blue" one.. Any pros and/or cons?

I ordered the white one of that helps
The blue is more like black.
Anyway, I prefer black simply because the screen has very hight contrast and deep black colour. I can't even tell the difference between black screen and the black bezel, which is great for watching videos or work with black background apps. I'd think the deep black screen and white bezel will not go well together as all black screen and bezel.
my 2 cents..
I think all of us are going to keep our Note in some kind of case, let it be a leather case or and hard protective case.
That being said we would hardly see the body of the Note anyways..

I had the same dilemma. I thought the White looks cool but was worried that it will look dirty easier with scratches and such.
I ended up with the Black due to Timing and Price. Plus...my wife told me she thinks White is for the ladies

The blue one is black, and the white one is for Ladies.
White one looks way better than the dark blue. Anyone saying its for the ladies is probably insecure about their masculinity.
On the blue one is it just the back thats blue? All the pics i see look like the front bezal is black.

The font of the phone and underneath the battery cover is black, it's just the battery cover is very very dark blue, basic black at first glance.
Will white phones discolor easily? I'm sure we've all seen white plastic things that have turned yellow.

Not unless you're touching it with curry on your hands or you're a smoker. None of my white electronics have ever discolored.

lol....It's my wife that said it, not me....I think it looks nice and elegant...
I got black or whatever blue one. Total sleekness. I hate the white one with all those sensor holes showing. Plain and simple look is the best for me in my own pinion. You will not regret buying the black one but may regret buying a white one.....

Yep, it's nice. It comes for free with the Note here in HK.
However, the brown case to my mind looks so much nicer.
best is no longer selling the bronze one but now the black one is there any thing new in it

It says "Brown/Black". That means the device is brown AND black. It doesn't mean you can choose brown OR black. There is no option for picking a color when you add a Transformer to your cart. The "black" they are referring to is the bezel.
There is no black version of the TF101. If it's out there, someone find me some evidence of it somewhere on the internet. Other than this thread. There is no way Best Buy would have gotten a new color of the TF without there being a mention of it on a single tech blog.

Yeah, I definitely think their Note sales should get a minor boost from the pink version. However, this "berry pink" version (just like the GS2) is an ugly pink. It be better if they made it darker...like close to magenta pink.
For women...if they want the looks and aesthetics of a Note, I would still recommend they get a ceramic white one over think 'berry pink' version.

I would not be one who is buying pink Galaxy Note but I think there is many people who would buy as I have seen pink phone cases even for guys.
At least this is the way to be different and many people will use this option for sure.
