Wildfire bricked!?!?!

Read ***
Today morning i was playing on my wildfire, playing the game teeter. I got the wildpuzzle rom v0.6. I played teeter for a good hour or so, not droppping the phone or dealing it any damage. All of a sudden the notification area of the screen became distorted, it had multi coloured lines going through it. I thought this is probably a one off so i just locked my phone and unlocked it. As i unlocked it the soft key buttons (home, back, menu, search) turned on but the screen didn't. I haven't dealt any damage to the screen. It was just off. If i pressed the softkey buttons it would vibrate like it did, but i could not see the screen at all. I thought taking out the battery and putting it back in what do the trick, that didn't work neither. As i switched it back on, no htc screen. I tried going to hboot but that didn't come on neither. I have HCDR's 768 kernel and have got setcpu to performance. As of now the phone is on, it acts as if it works (unlocks, locks) but its just the screen. About half an hour after it went faulty the screen poped up when i unlocked it, the original wildpuzzle lock screen wallpaper was on, this was strange as i had put on the orange wave. Since then it seems as it is just locked, if i press the power button the soft keys turn on but the screen is still off. I was wondering if this is the rom or something else, if i sent this to HTC for gurantee as it is barely 5 months old, but would they figure out i have broken the gurantee with root? What should i do, or is it just the screen? The screen should be good as i didn't drop it or hit the screen hard, just average use. Any help is desperately needed as i want my wildfire back. thanks for any help in advance.
I thought that it was just the screen so i wacked its side against my desk, magic, the screen came on but with the orginal wildpuzzle lock scree, as of now i'm backing up this rom and i am going to install a diff rom backup, can i install legit original rom (vodafone 2.1) again and try for gurantee?
Any help would be greatly greatly appreciated.
***I have got the screen to work again but i am trying to go to recovery, it boots normally but when i keep hold of volume down and power button it goes to a blank screen. I take the battery out and then put it back in. Switch it on and it goes to HTC screen and boots normally into wildpuzzle...
Can you get into recovery mode? Before anything, can you charge your phone? If yes, charge it well.
If you her into recovery, take a nandroid backup. Then wipe the data and cache. You will lose all you data and apps you might have installed. Try rebooting after.
I doubt if your phone is bricked as you see the lights and buttons seem to work.
at the moment i am charging my phone, i'm going to wait till full charge. But just before i got it into recovery, made a bacup, wiped dalvik cache and wiped data/factory reset. Then i thought it should boot, tryed booting, shows htc boot screen, 2 mins later instead of going to the HTC Quetly Brilliant screen it stays at a black screen, i just took the battery out and it doesn't even go to hboot, tryed wacking it on the side again but no luck. Maybe screen? could i use gurantee and get a new one or repair?
Running the phone with a 50% overclock probably isn't doing yourself any favours. Especially when you don't have a GPU. I never run my phones with more than a 25%, and with that said I am running my Desire with a custom kernel (for BFS/HAVS etc) at the stock 998Mhz, 1.2Ghz just isn't necessary. I do realize that 768Mhz makes the phone less choppy but personally I wouldn't do it.
If you can't see the screen try looking here to flash via ADB, then you could send it back under warranty.
True. Just like overclocking thw cpu in your computer and not adding any extra fans.
I run overclocked at 595mhz. This is ample

[Q] MIUI-1.6.10-demonSPEED-v1.1, WILL NOT BOOT

So as the title says i currently have MIUI 1.6.10 demonSPEED v1.1 ROM and it is not booting, just completely unresponsive to everything i could think of. Im just throwing this out there to see if this has happened to anyone before or if there is a way of fixing this issue. I don't believe it has anything to do with thederekjay's rom just some unfortunate event. Anyway i fear it is possibly bricked and that i am gonna have to shell out the $150 to get a new mt4g from the insurance. Details follow...
So have had this rom for about a week now and has been working great. However this morning i was on the browser reading the news and it became unresponsive. After i let its display turn off (i just left it alone) i used the track pad to wake it. It was slow but it did show me the lock screen. When i attempted to unlock with a swipe down i felt the vibrations but the slide lock didn't budge. I then tapped the power button to turn the display off and tapped the power button once again to turn it on but nothing, just stayed black. I tried a soft reset by removing the battery, placing it back in, and powering back up. When i did so the t-mobile mytouch 4g boot image w/ the white background came on then went to an android image (lighting up a through d, looping) but then it just remained at the android image for five minutes! So i tried a soft reset again but the same thing would happen, act like it was gonna boot up completely but then gets stuck at the android image. So then i tried removing the battery and booting into recovery (via power, vol down, trackpad) that time the t-mobile mytouch 4g image would appear but after that the screen went black and after that every attempt with either the soft reset or boot into recovery wouldn't do anything at all, just a black screen as if the battery wasn't in at all. Its been like that all day and i can't figure it out so if anyone knows some info i would greatly appreciate it thanx

[SOLVED] Hard bricked, maybe?

I've read up on a lot of threads about hard and soft bricking. I think I my phone may have somehow hardbricked, but i don't know how for sure, as my situation doesn't really match what I've read on either case. Pretty much, it has randomly gone all black screen on me once or twice over the last week. This morning I noticed it did it again. To get it back on, I usually have to pull the battery. This morning, though, it wont boot back up. The "Galaxy S4" screen shows for a second or two, and then immediately goes black again. I tried recover, and the blue text on the top left corner shows, but again the screen goes black after a second or two at the Galaxy S4 screen without making it to recovery. Download mode? Same thing. It goes through the steps, and after a second or two of the "Press volume down to cancel, up to continue..." or whatever message, it goes black. If I'm fast enough, I can press volume up and get it to the "Downloading... do not turn off target." screen. but it immediately goes black again.
Each of these times it goes black, none of the buttons respond, the power button doesn't work, and I have to pull the battery again.
One thing to note is that every time, no matter how long i leave the battery out, it immediately tries to boot when I put the battery in. It's almost acting like the power button is stuck down, but it isn't. I can press it and it clicks normal. I haven't dropped it or anything, and the last rom I flashed was the Super S4 rom about 2 weeks ago or so.
Any ideas? I'm a bit worried about sending it back in as it's been rooted and flashed, and i'm obviously not able to unroot and get it back to stock.
Taking the advice of my oh-so-wise girlfriend, I smacked my phone on my desk a couple of times, and it seems to work now I'm guessing the power button really was stuck despite it clicking, and this un-stuck it?

Lol I've heard of this happening before with the power button being stuck. Thus not allowing the phone to boot up.
One time I had a screwed up an S3 and it was whack. Kind of like your situation, what I did was take the battery out had it plugged into the computer and held the power button down for 30 seconds and it vibrated. So i poped in the battery and it worked.
Now while the button inside may be stuck or sticking.. I would HIGHLY suggest not smacking it on a desk. The LCD display IS glass. I have a habit of giving my phone a good old smack on the back.. I feel like I'm 'burping my baby'. The soft tissue of your hand is typically enough to dislodge any sticky hardware.. without running the risk of a cracked LCD.. or worse.. a cracked digitizer... :0
Power button stuck
I had the same issue and I also thought I had hard bricked my phone. It was acting like a stuck power button but I could still feel the small click when I pressed the button. The solution that I found was taking out the battery and lightly (I mean lightly not near enough to cause and damage) tapping directly on the power button. I have had this problem several times now with my S4 and this has worked every time so far.

Phone vibrates but wont show screen?

So after i had sucessfuly rooted my galaxy, unlocked the bootloader and installed cm13 2-3 hrs later cm 13, starts to turn off the screen but stays working since i had it connected to pc and i was able to move files back and forth... now since i couldnt get it to stay working i decided to restore using twrp but after slidingto confirm the restore the phone immediately shuttled its self down, so i decided to flash stock rom which it did flash but with screen off while odin was doing its thing.... now when i turn it on i can hear sound but no image and for the screen to work i have to connected it to a power sourse first then turn it on but stays stuck on verizon screen loading!! so i flashed stock rom again but again same thing!! EDIT now afer it went past verizon screen it said set up wizard stopped working.... i have flashed stock rom like 5 times now..
Current status of phone: phone will turn on sometimes with visuals but most of the time you can listen to it booting with no visuals untill it reaches verizon and just hangs there, last time booted some kind of accecibility feature that telling me what the phone was doing at all times, just right after the verizon logo saying " set up wizard stopped working"
- i can access download mode and recovery mode sometimes with screen working and other times without it working so i might just be soft bricked maybe bootloader brick?
Flash stock firmware with Odin and immediately after flashing, wipe data/factory reset in recovery. Then reboot

This actually worked and booted the phone thanks man... however i dropped the phone and now when the screen do turns on but after couple of minets of usage like 3 minets the screen shuts off but the phone stays fully working, does this means that replacing the LCD will fix this? or maybe something inside is loose as a result of the drop?
Edit: actually after screen shuts down and i leave alone the phone shuts down completely and restarts when i attempt to push power or home buttons and after it restarts the screen is not visible anymore... so to get the screen to show again i have to remove the battery and wait couple of minets to put back on and sometimes this gets the screen to show but some times it doesn't... if i remove the battery and immediately put it back on this wont work i should mention

Try opening it up with a heat gun and checking for loose connections.

Phone not booting correctly but is still on

So i once took my phone to charge before going to bed and the next morning the screen was just black and the phone was "dead". The screen was black, nothing reacting. Rebooting was possible, but screen still black. I went through a whole night trying to figure out whats wrong and lastly i flashed the stock rom using the recovery tool and accidently ended up locking the bootloader with a non working screen.
Today the replacement screen arrived, i connected the new one, restarted the phone and still its just the screen lighting up a few seconds then turning off as soon as the redmi should appear. It does look like its not the screen but still something in the software. Is there anything i can still do to rescue the phone or is it just dead?
greetings

Try going into the stock recovery mode through hardware buttons (Hold Vol+ and Power) and try and factory reset.
