Ok, who is using their N1 on T-mobile?
I bought my N1 and originally used it on ATT for a few weeks and my MMS messages were normal but since I've switched to T-mobile all the incoming MMS messages I get are 5Kb. They quality is obviously horrible. It's the same on the Desire rom and on CM. Anyone else have this issue?
I am on Tmo and get all my mms the desire Rom mms is messed up that why I stop using it. I am on cyan and get all my messages.

Also I tried searching this morning on my g2 and it said this forum disabled tapatalk? Any ideas...
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. And have a good Monday!

It must be a sprint issue then. I would call customer service and complaint about it.

lol. I've had this issue a lot with sprint also. I'm hating the fact that they can't get this network issue resolved fast enough

I've had this problem quite a lot recently. Oddly, it seems to only affect messages coming from one or two certain people on a given day.
Yes, me too. Completely random.

This could be caused by incorrect APN (Access Point Names) setting. Happened to me in the past.
These can be configured via Settings > Wireless & Networks > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names.
Google APN Settings for (Your Service Provider) and check to see if you have the right setup.
Do you use Google Voice? Google Voice has Sprint integration so if you selected that GV will intercept your incoming text messages

Same here (totally different provider and everything, but I had the same problems and the same solution).

I had a friend sending me texts that I wasn't receiving and once they deleted all my texts on their phone I started getting their texts to me.

I'm on stock and it works for me. Hope you get yours fixed.
Getting this error when trying to update some apps today. My phone is stock. Wondering if maybe my created APN settings have anything to do with it but I have been running that APN for a week. My APN is straight from a thread on here for better speeds. Thanks

Just try later, it always goes away for me (on other phone, not N4)
It is odd. Some apps now have gone through but one is being stubborn.

As others have already said, just keep trying. It's not your phone being faulty, some apps are just unable to install properly (had it on Xperia Neo V).

So I just got this phone.
I was having horrible connectivity issues which I blamed for the MMS issue. Now, using the methods on here to activate bands 26/41 I'm hitting 4G LTE, though not super fast, but it's still something.
When I get an MMS (using Hangouts) it always says "Tap to download MMS message". Nothing I do seems to change this.
Is there any hope?
MMS via hangouts has been screwed up for quite awhile now and not just for Sprint - https://productforums.google.com/forum/m/#!msg/hangouts/kzg-hqiDANc/QEtQb6SC22kJ

Thanks. I guess Google messing something up was the last thing I expected. Sucks.
