Both have 1.42 hspl, both have energy wm base rom. One will fire up the mattc 1.5 Android but when I remove the sd card and put in the other HD2 (even after a format) it just hangs at 'jumping to kernel'. Pop it back in the other HD2 again and everything is fine!!
Any explanations as I am stumped

obvious question: radio version is the same?
Sorry. Yes both the same (12.50)

hmmm.. tried with another SD card as well?
- ROM, RADIO, HSPL VERSION, SD CARD are ALL THE SAME?
if not, look in to that first.. Second, maybe try with another SIM card.
Tried different sd card as well. So really odd. The phone can't be broken nor the SD slot as it reads and executes other files.

i wonder if for the hd2 that does not boot, have u tried using the exact same sd card which boot the "bootable" hd2?
if so, and the phone is still unbootable into hd2, does any1 else know of any way to extract out a log for the devs/kernel coders to take a look?
Have you tried to switch batteries between the devices?
Have tried using exact SD card. It won't boot. Have not however tried swapping batteries. Will try in 45 mins and post result!

Hi,
You should try to make a "clean start" with Android and the second HD2 :
Delete everything on the SDcard and copy back the Android build on it.
Then, start Android normally in the second HD2.
My point is that, at first launch, each build creates some data before Android appears, MAYBE this data is in a way related to the phone it has been created with, explaining why you can't run an already "ready" build on another phone.
Thanks but youll see from original post that I even reformatted the same SD and then copied the build across. It won't boot. I assume that's what you meant.
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
Yes, that's what I meant, sorry I read your post a little too quickly.
You could also try another build :
Yesterday my phone ( using android ) froze, so I restarted it and it became IMPOSSIBLE to start Android again ( white screen, black screen, before and after reformatting the SD card ) so I tried a different build and it worked.
There are times when it just won't boot. Be gentle with it in WM and it'll boot fine
try same SIM card
The one that won't boot task 29 it and put the same ROM back on it might have some stuff hanging around in root of phone that's causing issues
when i had jumping to kernel issue it was because i forgot to rename the .txt file in android folder to startup.txt. maybe a silly question but did you do that?

+1 on that. Up to now I wasn't able to copy my fully configured and working FroyoStone installation from SD card to HDD and back without getting problems sooner or later (although no hardware was changed at all!). I had boot problems when doing so several times. So you might consider to set up Android on the faulty device from scratch (without copying anything from the other device). I'd also start with a freshly formatted SD card...
HTH!
Dont quote me on this, but I believe the HD2 has two variants (again, dont quote me) they use 2 different types of LCD (I believe one has a blueish tint to it). So maybe your problem lies with the screen? When I bought this phone for my moms birthday, i noticed that the screen was a little blue no matter how I tweaked the settings, but mine, if anything has a little yellow to it. Again not sure, remember reading about the 2 variants of LCD causing certain problems with certain builds. Hope it all works out for you
There are definitely different hardware suppliers.
I bought my HD2 in the UK in november last year. 1 month ago I bought a second one for my father. The display of the new device had far better colors and contrast. Besides having some other minor problems with the device, that was the last straw, so I sent it to HTC for repairs. They replaced the screen and the colors are now even with my fathers HD2, however the color of the LCD panel itself, when switched off, is different. So still different LCD screens ...
But its not only the screen: My fathers HD2 boots up twice as fast as mine; same radio, same hspl, same rom, same configuration. From the moment the red letters on the bottom appear, it only takes ~15 seconds for that HD2 to get past the splashscreens. Mine takes ~30 seconds. However, the odd thing is, in all benchmarks I ran, both got the same results ...
Am working on this now. It has a fresh Energy Rom on it (build 23128 - same as working one). I am now in process of reformatting the SD card (the long slow version). I will then copy mattc 1.5 on to card and try again. Saw a post about renaming .txt to startup.txt. It's already called that and works on the other phone anyway.
If this doesnt work then I'll do a Task 29 although I've no clue what that actually is
You should do a Task 29 before putting the Energy rom on. Task 29 wipes the phone.

Hi, I am running the DFT WP7 on my HD2. I am finiding the phone randomly turns itself off and also restting itself back to standard which now means i have to re-install everything!!! luckily i have not activated my windows live yet and would like to know if anyone can help me get to the bottom of this before i do. i am using an 8GB Sandisk micro sd card just incase this makes any difference and radio 2.08.50.05 and magldr111. Any advice would be very welcome
You should probably try using the 2.15.50.14 radio. and magldr112 as a first step.
I had reset issues with a 4gb sandisk microsd, but it has been rock solid on an 8gb card (set up for dual booting with Android). However, this morning, I started getting random resets again. The only thing different was that I was using a different battery (cheap ebay battery that works fine in wm6.5 and Android). I put in the original battery and it took 3 attempts to boot, but since then it has been solid again. You may therefore wish to try with a different battery.

hey guys, trying to do my first upgrade to get win 7 on my very slow buggy hd2, i am following the guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=971478
and i am stuck on the first step, i have checked the SPL version, 1.42.00 i think it was, had phone on, connected up the usb, then downloaded and ran HSPL2_Run from my pc, and it fails on the usb connect, stuck on what to do
Edit>
I have now rebooted phone, held down the volume key and entered the coloured screen, connected usb, says usb at the bottom of the screen, and re ran the program, still no joy
Edit>
I have now tried using a different file on the link HSPL and i get past the USB connect and get a large loading bar but then get another error
Unknown error

hey mate, thanks for the reply, i spent a good hour trying all different things and doing them over and over and all of a sudden it worked, done all the things on the video, and now i have win 7 on my phone, i am sooo pleased with my self lol
only thing is my sd card is 2gig so will need to buy a bigger one when i got some cash, when i get a bigger one can i just use the pc, drag and drop the files on the card to the pc and then back onto the bigger card, or is all the needed files saved on the phone?
cheers
I think I did read something somewhere about someone using a partition tool to do something similar, but for all practical purposes you should assume a hard reset is required to allow WP7 to format and set up the card properly.

Ywe drag and drop will work with photos, videos, documents, and etc. Or you can use copy and past too.
As far as you putting the new card in I think all you have to do is put the SD card in your HD2 and then boot it up. I think it will be like the first time you booted because WP7 uses the SD card for it's internal memory so it will have to format your new card with RAID and place what info it has to place on it. Atleast that is what I have read, I do not use WP7.

It won't. There is no real file explorer for WP7 and I don't believe the filesystem is readable outside of WP7.
I believe you will also need to reflash WP7 to have the card work effectively in the OS.

You may be right, but I thought that you could still use drag and drop or copy and paste if you use the little USB mass storage hack for WP7. But I have never used WP7 on my HD2 so what do I know.

You can to some degree, but it's not as simple as good old WM and WP7 will most likely rename all of the files to add further complication. For a noob, best advice is to expect a hard reset
Well after a day at work, last night i was loving the win 7 on my phone, now i hate it....
Got so many issues with it,
1. Randomly reboots itself every 10 mins or so everytime, all day long and when it does it goes into a sort of safe mode with none of my settings saved, themes etc, and i have to reboot 2+ times to get my settings back, then it goes again after 10mins
2. when screen is locked for a few mins, when i go to unlock it and activate screen nothing happens, then the phone reboots.
3. During all these problems, every other time all the apps stop working, dont load up, reset fixes, not always.
4. Battery dies within an hour os so from full
Used [LEO_70]BOYPPC-SHIFTPDA-HD2_WP7_V4_(13.Apr) rom
any others anyone can cecommend or maybe even Android?
Also how do i install a new Rom, do i just run in on the 5th option of Magldr or do i need to delete it off first then install the new one? cheers

Your issue most likely isn't WP7 - which is normally quite stable - but an incompatible SD card. I'd suggest you bring forward your plans to get a bigger card - have a read around (there are several threads) to see which flavours of card are more likely to work well - and prepare to re-flash.
You should note that the selection of a suitable SD card does not seem to be an exact science - there is evidence to suggest that almost identical cards may have varying levels of success.
So the bad news is you are facing expense; the good news is that your experience of WP7 isn't representative.
So my HD2 freezes constantly. I don't have the unlock freezing issue nor the black screen freezing issue. My phone will just freeze quite constantly. Doesn't matter if I'm just doing a message, online, or it's just sitting there doing nothing. It will freeze and will have to remove the battery and restart it. I've reinstalled MAGLDR, CWM, and tried several ROMS and it still doesn't make a difference. I remove the battery and have to let it cool for around an hour just to turn it on and be able to use it for a period of time.
Any suggestions out there? Could the battery be bad? The hardware? I constantly use Task Killer and Data Eraser to make sure there aren't unnecessary programs running. I've narrowed my app collection to just the necessary ones that I need. Still doesn't make a difference. Any programs out there that would help with this issue in any way. Would repartitioning my SD card help at all. I have pretty much everything on my SD card as well so the hardware shouldn't be overloaded at all.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

LOADS of people are having this problem including myself.
As long as Mobile Data and Gps are OFF, I have no freezing issues.
BUT, if I turn on Mobile date or Gps, or both, then GAME OVER.....it freezes within seconds.
It's not your battery, or SD card and don't listen to the muppets who repeat themselves by saying "do a task29" coz it doesn't work.
I've tried 5 different SD card, got 2 hd2's, task29, over 100 roms, different radios etc etc.
Never used to happen on SD builds, only Nand.
if i had the cash, i'd smash my hd2 against the wall and get a Android native phone.
this aint ever gonna be solved.

Hi,
It might be worth trying to flash an original ROM and seeing if the same thing occurs in WinMo.
Have you properly formatted card? (overwrite with size adjustment)
Which rom are you using?
Does it do it on multiple roms?
Have you done a task29?
have you tried a different radio version?

I've tried all those things. I'm using the Nexus 2 Gingerbread ROM by tytung. I've tried winmo roms, android, etc. I've done task 29 several times. Different radios as well. It doesn't make a difference at all. I found a thread that might be the culmination of it all. If anyone else is having problems like I am, take a look at this thread. It's definitely the motherboard overheating and freezing/and or shutting itself off.

Luckily, I pay insurance through t-mobile so I will be picking up a new HD2 pretty soon.
I had a similar problem, but mine came about under different circumstances. I smashed my HD2 against a wall for whatever personal reasons that you shouldn't care about, anyway, so I ordered a replacement display. When I installed the display the phone would freeze just as described by OP. I found that disabling GPS and WiFi allowed me to use it for a longer time, but if I ever so much as applied any pressure to the display (rather than just lightly touching it) the screen would freeze and sometimes it would just straight shut off until it didn't turn back on at all (this was barely the first day after installation). I opened the phone and tested, found out that the LCD flex cable had a defect to it where if it was bent (the position it's supposed to be in once the phone is assembled) the display would "short out" and with the cable fully extended no problems would be present, even after applying pressure to the display or any of the other internal components.
I'm sending my LCD back for a replacement and hopefully the new one will work fine. I've read that some LCD's cause the HD2 to freeze and I think I was unlucky enough to receive one such. I need the phone to hold on long enough until I get my contract renewal May 2012. I'm surviving on my Dream right now and I'm going through Angry Birds withdrawal...

I have similar issue. Could use advice. Please.
My HD2 is about a year old. Decided to try android on the sd.
Device: HTC HD2 TMOUSA
Radio: 2.10.50.26 (Original) NOW flashed to 2.15.50.14
SPL: 2.10.xxxx (Original) NOW HSLP 2.08.0000
Android Rom: SD AmeriCanAndroid AOSP HD2 GB234 CM71
WM Rom: 2.13.531.1 (Original)
ACA seemed ok but would freeze randomly. So I flashed the radio to the 50.14. Seemed a little better but still a few freezes in android. Thought I would try the partition to improve the sd card performance. can't tell if it helped or not to many freeze ups to use android during the day. NOW my winmo side it giving me random reboots. It gets hot reboots, especially bad if using gps. I know overheating is part of the issue because during the middle of the day in my car without A/C it is terrible.
I also have an OTTERBOX Defend which has kept the phone looking great but is a really pain with on all the battery removal with the freeze ups.
I have read that this can be a mainboard issue, but how can I tell if it is or not?
Could the radio and winmo rom be incompatible?
Should I flash the winmo rom to a more compatible android rom?
Should I send it in since I have TMO insurance? (Anyone know if there is a deductible if you didn't lose the phone?)
I have also noticed the on the winmo side it reboots less if I turn htc sense off.
Not sure if I should go back to a different radio or send it in?
Are the insurance replacements refurbished or new? do they have the same issue?
Thanks for any expertise you care to share.
Had similar problems with Tmous HD2. Problems were really bad in Winmo; aca worked somewhat better. Read forums, tried standard "solutions". With time the problems got to the point where the HD2 would not boot unless it had been placed in the refrigerator for 5 minutes.
Did T-Mobile warranty exchange in April. Replacement was refurb (arrives without battery or sd card, used old one), but looked fine. Had a week to test "new" phone, before sending the old one back. Replacment phone works much better. In Winmo, gps, videos, sense no longer cause reboots; aca also works great.
Hope this helps...

Exactly as my post from a few days ago predicted..."task 29"
FFS.
Hello,
I recently bought a HTC HD 2 Tmobile from ebay .
The phone will not boot up.
When i start up the phone it leads me to the windows start up to the tmobile start up then back to the windows start up and stays there and i cannot do anything except take out the battery.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Sounds like you are stuck in a boot loop. There is a few things you can try.
First check the battery pins and make sure you do not have any that are bent out of alignment with the others or that is being hindered in anyway.
Next you can download the official Windows Mobile ROM from T-Mobile. You will have to enter the IMEI number, look under the battery for it. Once downloaded you can try to flash it via USB. Just put your HD2 into the bootloader by holding down the volume down button while powering on your HD2 and then connect it to your computer via USB cable. You will have to have Windows Mobile Device Center or Active Sync installed on your computer so you can get the USB Sync connection you need. Go to here to find a link to both, just choose the one you need for the type of windows you use. Anyway once you have your HD2 in bootloader and connected the serial in the bottom white bar of bootloader should change to USB, this means you have the USB Sync connection. When you see the USB you can right click on the ROM you downloaded from T-Mobile and run it as administrator. I do suggest you let your HD2 stay off and charge for a little while first though to make sure you have more than a 50% charge.
If that does not work you can try running a Task 29 and then repeating the above mentioned steps to flash the ROM again.
If this does not fix your problem you probably have hardware issues causing the boot loop.
Thank you so much for the reply. I will try the things you have listed. Even though i am a bit lost haha. the hardware issue would be overheating cpu, have to get a new main board via HTC warranty (if it is not voided due to water damage or dropped).
Android is easy to load. Fast/smooth you want a CyanogenMod7 ROM, you can find versions for SD or versions that you flash on the phone itself. You can either run Windows Mobile 6.5 then laucnch Android from SD (dual-boot), launch Android from SD with no Windows Mobile, launch Android flashed from internal storage, or flash Windows Phone 7 to internal storage and run Android from SD (dual-boot).
The tutorials are all in the HD2 Android forums and HD2 WP7 forums.
initially I would try a hard reset before getting too technical.
hold down volume up and down and switch on. keep holding volume buttons, when prompted press volume up. this will restore to out of he box settings ie remove all previous data on the phone.

As far as hardware issues go it is like XDA member orangekid said overheating is the predominant reason that comes to mind. Another thing is degraded prossesor connection or degradated flash/NAND chip connections. All of witch can only be fixed by main board replacement.
Yes I can help you "load" Android onto your HD2, just click the guide link ed in my Sig. I think everything you need to know is there. well except how to run Android fro SD card, hmmm maybe I should add that. Also you can go here for more links to very useful threads in the Android General Stickie Roll up thread.
Again I have to agree with XDA member orangekid, the CyanogenMod7 ROMs are pretty creaking awesome. But I do recomend the Hyperdroid ROM I have linked in my Sig. I have used it for my daily driver for months and the only real problem I have had is the latest update to the ROM the new updated market would not work properly I would have to go to Settings/Applications/Manage Applications. Then find the market selerct it and then select Uninstall Updates. Oh and make sure you do not have the check box checked to aromatic update the market or you will have to do this everytime you use the market. I am currently testing the [17 Aug][SENSE3.0] Pyramid HTC WWE 1.35.401.1 - Real 3D [V2.1][RAF 1.9GB] ROM to sort of test the HTC Sensation's ROM and to check out HTC Sense 3.0.
As for your 2gig SD card no it will work but I do recomend you consider getting a 4 gig SD card. I have heard mixed results from 2 gig SD cards that people use to dual boot with. I personally have never used under a 4 gig SD card and have never had any trouble.
Thank you all for your replies.
I will Try out all the steps to fix my phone first. then i will try to load up android onto it and i will get back to you guys. i thanked all that have helped thank you so much. i will be back around sunday or monday with an update. wish me luck! oh one more question. would a 8gb be a good size micro sd card? or should i get a 16gb?
It really depends on how much space you'll think you'll need like, are you a person who takes a lot of pics or video, do you keep a lot of music on your phone? If you do then yes I would go with an 8gb. If not then you could really just use a 4gb sd card. I use a 8gb class 10 sd card myself and store a lot of pics, roms and backups and I haven't had the need to go back to a 16gb. Also you dont have to get a high speed card either, a class 4-6 is plenty.
If you decide to go the dual boot for Android I would look up a program found here on XDA called Rundroid. It will allow you to run many different Android builds from your sd card and is very simple to use. I would give the link but I'm not by a computer right now, sorry about that.

Hiii just an update . i did try to hard reset and it does reset but after i reset when it reboots it stays on the tmobile stick together logo.
and i just noticed if i leave it on like this and leave the battery the phone starts to get warm a bit on the back bottom side of the phone.
i will try the steps you gave me and see if it works. thanks.

I dont want to comment on something and be wrong so with that I would take it to t-mobile and see if you can have it switched out under your warranty. I had a very similiar problem that it was stuck on the HTC/T-mobile splash screen and I sent mine in for repair through HTC. They fixed the issue and sent it back (for free), all I had to pay was shipping there. They do say that if they find something thats not covered under warranty like water damage/not the proper software they'll call and let you know if there will be a charge to fix it.
I will say that my bootloader and probabaly everyone elses dont look like yours. Just above the spl-2.08 mine says pb81120..also mine says Cotullahspl where yours does not. If you dont find what your looking for here on the site best bet is to send it in for repair. Even if T-mobile says you didn't buy the warranty or what ever you still may be covered through HTC. This also will apply even if you bought the phone used.
HTC repair can be found here.
were you not holding the volume down button when you turned on the phone?
I would just download/flash stock from that bootloader screen.
I was holdin the vol down and power and i bought it on ebay so.. idk if i have warenty.
Even if you bought the phone on ebay you still could have a warranty. In post 12 I linked HTC repair. If you call them you could find out if you do have a warranty on it or not. They'll ask if for the imei# and run it. Im not sure if its a two year or one year on the warranty but they'll be able to tell you that.
I bought a used HD2 on ebay as well. Mine was listed as broke and was stuck on the T-mobile splash screen. I asked for the imei# from the seller and then called HTC to find out if it still had a warranty which it did, so i bought it. I lucked out that my phone was covered under warranty, you may or may not have the same luck as i had.
Thank i did what you told me and they gave me a new motherboard on mine. Thanks alot
Ive had 2 HD2's and its been the same problem for both.
No matter what rom i use on my hd2 it ALWAYS freezes(I was having the same issues with my first hd2 but eventually the screen on it stopped working and i sent it back for warranty and got a new one)
Ive flashed 2 other hd2's that belong to some friends and i did the exact same thing to their phones that i did to mine and they dont have any issue.
I dont know what to do and why am i the unlucky one
Please XDA Community i come to you for Guidance! I know this phone can be amazing but why is it being so stubborn!
Can it be SD related?
Does the area beneath the battery shell, behind the phone, feel particularly hot? If so, it's likely overheating (HTC calls it a current leakage... something?) and if you're under warranty you may wish to send it back.
Otherwise, there are fixes (suck as devising your own extra heatsink, reflowing the solder).... but it's non-trivial.
Does it freezes while using any particular applications, and what happens when it freezes???? I mean does it get to normal by itself or you have to pull the battery out and restart your HD2.
I am asking this because I was also having the same issue with my previous HD2, and then I came across this post
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1189544
which explains a lot about bad blocks which affect the android build.

yea sorry im just at the point where idk what else to do.
Lemme be more specific about this.
Theres times where it would actually boot up to where i can make a call but only for less than a couple minutes most of the time. There are times where i get lucky and it stays on for a good while ( couple hours ) and it'll stay that way as long as i dont use it. It freezes up starting up just about any app so i have this odd feeling it might be my sd card. But then i dont understand why the next thing happens. After i remove the battery and put it back in and boot either 1 of the 3 happens.
1) 1EFATAL HIT 1
2) Gets stuck on Go go go
3) gets stuck after go go go when rom tries to boot up.
Only thing i can do to get it to boot up again is take the battery out and leave it out for a good 10-15 minutes.
I tried Task29 and reinstalling magldr, cwr, and Rafdroid Rom and i still get the same crap
The Phone gets a little warm under the cover sometimes but its right were the micro sd is located
I'm having the same problem. My HD2 will freeze if I play games on it causing me to pull out the battery and when I boot it up, sometimes it will freeze at the MAGLDR screen, will freeze as soon as the rom boots. Right now my phone seems stable and I'm only using it for texting and making calls and nothing else for the fear of damaging the phone any further. I have a TMOUS phone btw.

Last question to u, that when u had ur stock windows rom in ur mobile , does any thing happened like this.
if not, then the problem is not in your mobile or sdcard, the problem is in the method u are intalling by.
1)try to get back to windows mobile.
2)install hardspl4 - 2.08 (not Hardspl3 - 2.08)
3)install magldr 1.13 (not magldr 1.11)
4)install clockworldmod recovery 3.0.0.5 (if ur rom is a cwm rom.)
5)Now flash the rom.
6)give it a try, if not any issue, then
7)push the thanks button. .. lol

That's actually the same thing I do.
Alright I know this might sound ridiculous but it seemed to work ( so far ). After 6 hours of trying to get this phone to work I decided to try something I saw on another thread. I got an icepack and did a complete install while having the phone on the icepack to keep it from getting warm. To my suprise it worked... I'm using my phone now with no issues yet and its been about 12 hours and it hasn't frozen yet. Although it did do a random reboot once ( I have a few bad blocks so I'm guessing that might be the reason). But Yea this worked for me some how. I'll update on any issues I get as soon as I can.
Sent from my HD2 using XDA Premium App
Same problem for me. My hd2 always freezes with any sense ui android build. MIUI and Nexus HD rom works fine.
My simple advise is... reinstal windows. And try again.
This worked for me when i started with the HD2.

Hi I had the same problem, but I sent my phone for repairs and it never froze again. According to HTC they just replaced the main board. But before I did that I actually flashed the official RUU (windows 6.5), and it continued to freeze, so I was quite sure it was a hardware problem. Indeed after repairs my phone didn't freeze anymore.

I also had 2 x HD2 which did this.
Froze when got to hot, or if using gps or mobile data.
Sold it 2 weeks ago, now own Desire HD and it's BRILLIANT!!
So now ive been running rafdroid on the phone without an sd and it runs.. but laggy since theres almost no space left in phone and it isnt getting hot. It only gets hot when it operates with the SD inside.
anyone know anything about that?
same problem
i have the exact same issues. the phone freezes every time it boots, be it magdlr nand, sd, wm 6.5 anything. however my old hd2 had no problems at allbut i broke it changing the screen digitizer and lcd.
(the white plastic on the connector that connects the lcd and digitizer to the main board broke.)
im pretty sure the reboots are mother board related but i don't know if telling tmobile or htc that will do anything because the phone is old. (i got this other hd2 from a guy on craigslist.)
I had the same freezing problem with my HD2. After all the research I've done, none of them worked. Then i put the phone into the freezer for a minute and took an ice pack, placed it on the back of the phone where CPU is located. While holding the ice pack, I re installed the ROM and at the and freezing issues were solved. It never froze again.
I hope this solves your problem too.

I want to ask whether this cooling trial fixed freezing problem forever? suppose if u use your set for more than for hour streaming over wifi? never it got freeze again?
The best solution that you can flash back to WinMo 6.5 and run Android from SD Card.
I have the same issue... but...
Make a complete instalation with an ice pack?? Are u joking me?? It works??
well... i have not to lose... i will report if i try it...
I flashed stock rom and run android from sdcard. but when i press Haret.exe is going to HTC green logo and after restarting. some solution?
Similar problem
I have a similar problem. But with two different phones.
I bought LG Optimus One about two years ago. After a few months, some freezes appeared... I've sent it to manufacturer three times and every time they changed some parts... but nothing have helped. I've made some experiments (another battery, SIM card, MicroSD card, custom ROMs) and than I realized, that the problem occurs only while the mobile internet is ON.
This summer, my friend offered me used HTC HD2 and I bought it. He used to have Android there with no problems. After a few weeks, the freezes occured again. And again: I can surf internet all day by wifi with no problems, but when I tunr on the mobile internet (MI), the phone freezes. The back cover of battery is a bit hot, but this appears while long using the phone too without MI (without freezes).
I've tried almost everything to solve this problem: changed SIM card, changed SD card, everytime with flash of the newest ROM... nothing helped.
I'm not sure if the problems with LG OO and HTC HD2 have the same reason, but I can't believe I can buy two phones with similar problems without transfering them.
What aboutthat crazy plan of flashing with ice cooling? Does it work afret a few months too?
PS: Sorry for my English
