Hi just tried Fring on my i9000M JP3 flashed
I noticed that my video is rotated 90 degree to the right.
even if I hold the device in right direction.
is anyone else experiencing similar problem?
Thanks
Yep. Same problem here. On my Samsung EPIC 4G. Very annoying.

Hello everybody.
Most of you will know Fring, the voip and recently video calling app on android
I installed the latest version but when it first starts there is a warning that due to hardware limitations video calling is disabled.
Makes sense i thought as our phone has no front facing camera but i installed it to my brother's Desire (no front facing camera too) and it works normally (via the back camera of course)..
Any ideas why this happens or any idea how to overpass it? If it works on desire it should work on hero too!
Cheers,
Lefsp

Its an hardware problem, the Hero doesn not have the capacity for Frings video call, but you can overpass it anyway..
I was using it for video calls on Skype a while ago with Wifi but it was laggy and it worked just for a few min (althought at that time I didn't have Froyo.... maybe now...)
Ok, here what I did... I f I recall correctly, after the warning, start Frings normally and just go to the setting, enable video calls manually, and is simple as that it should work! but use it only on wifi... I don't think will work with 3G..
I tried to video calling my friend using using Fring & Tango, but the video of myself is showing upside down. Can anyone know how to fix this Thanks.
gtalk works perfectly here - perhaps the other apps are messed up..
Oh...U know what. The back camera works fine but only the front camera is messed up and back camera won't be too useful during video calling.
fix: flip the tablet around
That doesn't work either because the video of your friend will be turning upside down. =.="

The flip works, its a two way road there. Start flipping them!
I just found another bug on EB02 that needs to be addressed, video calls from tango and qik don't work, all you can see are lines going across the screen when someone tries to view your video. Anyone having the same issue?
Yesterday my s5 stopped recording video. The video option became grayed out and got a message saying the device was too hot and would resume video soon as it cooled down.
It was 90° but never had a phone do that. Maybe it was because I was close to a grill for couple of hours. Anyone else had this happen? Is this common?

Not happened here. Good luck.
Hi. My camera freezes after a couple minutes on video calls on WhatsApp. It's on my end only. The other person can still see me fine but my portrait in the corner is frozen for me. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

First time hearing this issue, did you installed any custom kernel?
